Best meal we had in livigno and the staff were wonderful.

Absolutely delicious, one of the better restaurants in Livigno; I would definitely place them in the top 3. Service outstanding, especially regarding the wines; highly skilled, and the option to taste wines before making a choice. We will be back again!

Every year I return to Livigno, and every year I return to Camana Veglia. It's not just a pleasant habit, it's a certainty. At Mattia, you immediately notice the care taken in sourcing ingredients, a careful selection that translates into authentic, clean, and never banal dishes. The cuisine has personality, yet remains deeply rooted in the local area. The service is impeccable: attentive, discreet, and sincere. It accompanies you without ever being intrusive, with a professionalism that makes you feel like a guest, not just a customer. The warm and inviting location completes the experience: a perfect balance between Alpine elegance and comfort. For me, it's one of the references in Livigno, certainly among my two favorites. A place I gladly return to, certain of finding quality, consistency, and passion every time.

Let's start with the positives: The ambiance is wonderful, the wine very carefully selected and perfectly paired with the food. Ultimately, however, we felt the value for money wasn't quite right. Unfortunately, the mussels weren't entirely fresh during our visit, and some of the dishes seemed rather bland and unimaginative. The portions aren't really designed for a large appetite. While the food is beautifully presented, overall I'd say it's more style than substance. Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening – with room for improvement.

We absolutely LOVED Camana Veglia. We had the best experience there for dinner that we went back twice. The food was excellent, it was honestly so so delicious. Our favourites were the venison spaghetti, salt cod ravioli and the pigeon. The chefs are very talented and it was the best meal we had in Livigno. The service was amazing, we had the lovely Moroccan man serving us both times and he was so friendly and helpful with the menu. The Sommelier too was great, we had some delicious local wines and he helped us pick the best ones. A really great experience. Would come back to Livigno just to eat there again!
