My husband and I had dinner at "Vecchio Combo" this evening and had a truly excellent experience. Reservations are practically mandatory, as the restaurant is very small and seats only a few people. There are two dinner sittings: 7:15 PM and 9:15 PM. We chose the former. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming: it's one of those places where you feel at home, with a family atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. We opted for two tasting menus, which included a selection of cured meats, sciatt, pizzoccheri, polenta with spare ribs and salami, and finally dessert. Everything was truly delicious, with large plates and authentic flavors. The price was absolutely fair: we paid €35 ​​each. I definitely recommend this place, especially to those looking for traditional cuisine in a warm and informal atmosphere.

Eating well at this restaurant is a guarantee. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is AMAZING. We found it by chance, and since we tried it, we'll be making it a regular stop every time we visit Bormio. They welcomed us wonderfully, and we were even able to bring our big dog along! Super!

We dined here one evening and loved the traditional, slightly retro, yet truly welcoming atmosphere. We chose two tasting menus for €35, and we'd like to point out that the portions weren't small at all—quite the opposite. The appetizers, with a selection of cured meats and cheeses, were good, although we would have appreciated a brief explanation of the ingredients served. The sciatt were also very good. Next, we had pizzoccheri, well-made and tasty, and for our main course, polenta with grilled meat: overall, it was good, although the meat seemed a little less impressive than the rest. The desserts were decent, without any particular surprises, but still pleasant. Overall, a positive experience. This place is recommended for those who want to try traditional dishes in an authentic setting.

Excellent cuisine, an environment with an old-fashioned atmosphere, Mrs. Caterina with her daughter and staff welcome you with genuine kindness (these days, absolutely a gem)
