The location is unbeatable – right at the top with that incredible panoramic view over the hairpins and the valley below. Lunch with that scenery in front of you is priceless.The staff are always friendly and attentive, they make you feel welcome even when it’s busy. The food is really good too – hearty mountain dishes done properly, fresh and tasty. It’s the perfect reward after the climb. Highly recommend – don’t miss it!"

15/11/2025: An overnight stay is a wonderful experience. Right beneath a glacier with a phenomenal view. The rooms are excellent. The food is superb. It's physically demanding at high altitude, but definitely worth it. We were there in the summer on our way home from the Dolomites. It's a beautiful route (by car).

15/02/2026: Restaurant with very good food, different dishes and an incredible view of Valtellina. Parking is right after passing the hotel. Tables were full and we sat on the terrace. In winter it's good to dress warmly.

10/02/2026: Well, what can I say? The food was divine! I had both an à la carte menu and a set menu, everything delicious. Their pizzoccheri have always been a favorite. The food was truly delicious, VERY GOOD! The service was impeccable, and the young woman who served us was truly sweet and professional. The location was stunning, with a view of the valley. The interior decor was also super quaint and well-curated. The desserts were delicious, and the bill was fair!

25/12/2025: WHAT A HUGE HAIRCOMB! Two of us had lunch, and we were lured in by the photos of the highly acclaimed Saddle of Roe Deer, thinking they were a minimum portion for two people: €27 per person with only potatoes on the side... it might have been okay looking at the photos, but the reality was quite different: 80-90g of meat PER PERSON for €27 comes to a price of €270 per kg... have you ever paid that much for a Florentine steak?! THIS IS MADNESS. And the potatoes were awful, too. It's a shame because the rest of the food was quite good, especially the taroz. By the end, my stomach was in knots. Otherwise, the prices are pretty average, and the service is excellent, except for the fact that they sat us down at the beginning and then forgot about us (that's the fault of the person who showed us to the table, who didn't tell anyone). For fairness and to respect the customer's wallet, I recommend including the price per 100g on the menu. We are not all rich and we earn our money hard.

23/12/2025: Beautiful place, with a truly welcoming, family atmosphere. We really appreciated that the menu includes both traditional valley dishes, beautifully prepared, and original dishes based on local ingredients. The wine list is nothing short of remarkable. Dining on the veranda overlooking the valley is particularly lovely.

20/02/2026: We did no research and simply walked into a restaurant my dining companion found on Google Maps. Only after arriving did we discover that buckwheat is a local staple. We ordered dishes that looked distinctly regional: fried cheese balls with buckwheat, pizzoccheri (buckwheat tagliatelle), and deer served with carrot and coffee sauce. For dessert, we deliberately avoided tiramisu and chose something more local: chestnut mousse with hazelnut, Baileys cream, and coffee gel. The pizzoccheri was not my type, but the coffee sauce was interesting. Then came the dessert. Because I scooped up all the components in my very first bite, I froze. Confused, I asked my dining companion why it tasted sour and whether the coffee element was supposed to be acidic. His first bite did not include the chestnut mousse. After listening to me, he carefully tasted just the chestnut and said it tasted fermented and that I should not eat it because it had gone bad. I wanted to try another bite, but he stopped me. Still unconvinced, I wondered whether this was simply a local specialty and immediately asked ChatGPT whether sour chestnut mousse was actually a regional thing. … ……. Of course, it is not.

13/01/2026: An excellent experience at Braceria del Crotto. I tried the Japanese Wagyu grilled beef and a German selection: both were extraordinary, perfectly cooked, and truly superior in quality. A glass of excellent, carefully selected French wine accompanied everything. The finale was a true masterpiece: a sublime, balanced, and creamy tiramisu, one of the best I've ever tasted. A place that values ​​the finest ingredients and offers a top-notch gastronomic experience. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: A friend and I discovered this agriturismo by chance. We wanted to have lunch and opened Maps... We couldn't have made a better choice! The waitress was super friendly, kind, and very professional. I especially loved the location. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The dishes were truly excellent. I highly recommend their antipasto platter with a type of sciatt that also contains apple (super delicious), and I highly recommend the pizzoccheri (on my list, among the best and most stringy I've ever eaten! 🙌🏼) I will definitely be back. Congratulations again 💯

14/12/2025: We discovered this place by chance, but we didn't regret it at all: A warm atmosphere, a very kind and helpful waitress, delicious food, and affordable prices—what more could you ask for? The pizzoccheri are, I think, the best I've ever eaten 🤤 If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. We won't regret it, that's for sure!
