This short detour is rewarded with relative peace and an unbeatable view of the famous serpentine road on the northern side. Practically the perfect spot for a break before heading down into the valley.

25/12/2025: WHAT A HUGE HAIRCOMB! Two of us had lunch, and we were lured in by the photos of the highly acclaimed Saddle of Roe Deer, thinking they were a minimum portion for two people: €27 per person with only potatoes on the side... it might have been okay looking at the photos, but the reality was quite different: 80-90g of meat PER PERSON for €27 comes to a price of €270 per kg... have you ever paid that much for a Florentine steak?! THIS IS MADNESS. And the potatoes were awful, too. It's a shame because the rest of the food was quite good, especially the taroz. By the end, my stomach was in knots. Otherwise, the prices are pretty average, and the service is excellent, except for the fact that they sat us down at the beginning and then forgot about us (that's the fault of the person who showed us to the table, who didn't tell anyone). For fairness and to respect the customer's wallet, I recommend including the price per 100g on the menu. We are not all rich and we earn our money hard.

We really appreciated that the menu includes both traditional valley dishes, beautifully prepared, and original dishes based on local ingredients. The wine list is nothing short of remarkable. Dining on the veranda overlooking the valley is particularly lovely.

03/04/2026: The best in the entire province of Sondrio thanks to the professionalism, management, friendliness, and empathy displayed by the managing brothers, who, working together, have achieved the highest levels of quality and efficiency. The management is impeccable; I would add, without rhetoric or self-interest, that this restaurant/hotel is recommended without reservation.

16/02/2026: We've known this agriturismo for years and years. We returned a few days ago, and what can I say other than that quality is quality. Where elsewhere, quantity reigns supreme at the expense of quality, here, a few dishes reign supreme, but of the highest quality. We ordered an appetizer with cured meats, a first course, some fabulous pizzoccheri, and two second courses. I personally love the pork shank they cook. Valentina, who served us, is always top-notch.

07/01/2026: A friend and I discovered this agriturismo by chance. We wanted to have lunch and opened Maps... We couldn't have made a better choice! The waitress was super friendly, kind, and very professional. I especially loved the location. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The dishes were truly excellent. I highly recommend their antipasto platter with a type of sciatt that also contains apple (super delicious), and I highly recommend the pizzoccheri (on my list, among the best and most stringy I've ever eaten! 🙌🏼) I will definitely be back. Congratulations again 💯

06/04/2026: We ate really well. The dishes were well-prepared, with great care, the service was very pleasant, clean, and reasonably priced. The dining room where we ate is a bit old-fashioned, but that's not a flaw, it's true Valtellina, which holds up despite everything and is in pleasant harmony with the freshness of the cuisine and service. We came here 35 years ago for our wedding reception; since then, before this evening, we'd only been back once: it was a mistake. We'll try to make up for it in the coming years.

The menu is a celebration of the garden's seasonality. It's incredible how simple ingredients are transformed into true works of art. Balanced, fresh, and original flavors. A wine tasting is available. Finally, for coffee, not just the usual espresso, but a refined selection of blends from around the world. Reservations are required. The service was impeccable, attentive, and very professional.

14/12/2025: Simple and elegant atmosphere. The dishes are excellent, a unique menu with the option of pairing with wines or their spirits. Extraordinary use of spices and excellent pairings. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. The prices are moderately high, but worth it.
