Our review could confirm or overturn your decision to eat here. Location: 8 A typical old-fashioned restaurant in the middle of a mountain village. A welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Menu: 8.5 There's no printed menu, but the kind waitress will tell you about the daily specials (few but good). We obviously recommend the traditional pizzoccheri and the exquisite Sciatt. Everything was delicious, with generous portions; it tasted just like a grandmother's home cooking. The homemade desserts were also very good. Service: 7 Friendly and informal, just what you'd expect from a mountain restaurant/trattoria. Bill: 8 Just right for today's times (unfortunately). In conclusion, this restaurant feels like home; you eat typical Valtellina dishes with a typical mountain atmosphere. Thanks for the excellent lunch!

Exceptional pizzoccheri and sciatt

Pizzoccheri, ungreased with butter, are the best in the area in my opinion. The sciatt are excellent, and the cured meats are very good. I'll definitely be back.

Coming back here is always a thrill. It's a family tradition that's been around since before I was born: a visit to this historic restaurant in Ponte in Valtellina is a must at least once a year. The pizzoccheri are truly out of this world, probably the best in the area. The atmosphere is authentic and the quality has remained consistent over time. Highly recommended.

If you're in this area, this is a restaurant you absolutely must visit. Everything was delicious, the staff were wonderful, and the Italian atmosphere was unbeatable. Definitely a place to return to soon.
