03/05/2025: Excellent trattoria, simple and classic style but clean and sober. We ate everything based on goose. Starter of goose cured meats and really excellent pate, especially the latter (usually it seems cloying to me), followed by ravioli with goose meat in butter (I also tried the cannelloni with asparagus, this dish is also really tasty and worth a try!) and for the second course...baked goose for the whole table with baked potatoes! the meat was really tasty and tender, spectacular. The entire meal was accompanied by a good Buttafuoco red wine, the list of wines available is really long and varied, the bitters and grappas available at the end of the meal are also extensive. It's really worth it!

14/05/2025: Intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Food with quality ingredients, top cured meats! And obviously a selection of excellent natural wines. The two owners are keen to explain the dishes and wines to you with real passion. I absolutely recommend them.

30/03/2025: Il locale è molto carino e ben tenuto, vorrebbe essere un po' più elegante rispetto alla media di Mortara. Ne ho sempre sentito parlare benissimo quindi ho deciso di provare ma ne sono rimasta un po' delusa. Per prima cosa ho notato che le cameriere, tutte, hanno un atteggiamento molto altezzoso e un po' scostante. Non sorridono, sembrano quasi lì per farti un favore e tra di loro commentano e fanno battute poco carine sui commensali come se alcuni non fossero all'altezza di essere lì (si, si sente e si nota molto bene dai tavoli) cosa che mi ha fatta sentire molto a disagio. Il cibo per carità, ottimo, nulla da dire.. però un po' troppo caro sia per i piatti proposti che per il luogo in cui si trova il ristorante. La cosa che veramente mi ha lasciata amareggiata è che mi blocca dal volerci tornare ancora sono state appunto le cameriere e mi spiace perché il proprietario è una persona molto gentile.

19/04/2025: Update April 25 A location.. a guarantee! Excellent food and well done. Delicious dishes, well cooked and with average prices. The Cantonese rice is nothing short of divine! Friendly service. Clean location but I recommend turning on the heating on cold days, because we ate with our jackets on!!!

13/05/2025: Great experience. Traditional Lombard food well cooked in adequate portions. Small but tidy and clean environment with attentive and kind service. As a first course I recommend the risottos in the various versions offered. Really interesting price 30 euros per person for appetizer, first or second course, dessert, water, bottle of wine, coffee, digestive.

20/05/2025: We had lunch at Maste' on Sunday for the first time for a family celebration and we all had a great time. It is easy to reach, all paved road and there are signs. They are very kind and friendly. Sonia, the owner was very available to meet my requests. When booking I agreed on a menu because there were 11 of us, I told Mrs. Sonia that I am vegetarian and I was still able to choose from many options. It was all delicious, especially the asparagus and taleggio risotto but also for example the vegetable flan which was one of the appetizers, it was exquisite. The bread and focaccia homemade by the owner were also excellent. The vegetables are from their garden and the wines are also produced by them. Even though the place was full the service was quick and between one course and the next you really had to wait very little. Fair price, fair portions. Those who wanted could have a second helping of ravioli for example and in addition to our menu they also brought us a taste of pisarei with a delicious sauce. I absolutely recommend it, we can't wait to go back. Mrs. Sonia also called me the next day to find out if we had a good time. In a world of hostile people I really appreciated this cordiality.

Seafood starter, encore first courses, encore second courses and colomba with mascarpone and a good wine. We had a great time even though the place was full. The owners and waiters are very kind.

23/04/2025: Every time we come to this place we have a great time. Excellent burgers, dishes and sandwiches, good beers, nice environment. He has a style that I really like, Valid for adults, it is also popular with little ones: my children come very willingly.

We spent exactly €130 for two for the GioEle menu, which consisted of the dishes you see in the photos (+ an additional appetizer offered by the house, which I did not photograph). Delicious food, really interesting combinations. The place is small and very welcoming, it feels like eating in the living room of a house. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The owner was very patient, allowing my girlfriend to choose vegetarian alternatives on the spot even though we had forgotten to request them in advance on the phone. Super!
