12/03/2025: On Saturday evening I had dinner at Conte Hop in Cassolnovo and the experience was truly excellent. I tried the Coccinella pizza, an original and imaginative idea: a giant pizza in the shape of a ladybug divided into three different flavours, really delicious! The dough was excellent, well leavened and digestible. As a starter I took a mixture of fried foods, of very good quality, dry and crunchy, although the price seemed slightly high compared to the portion. To conclude, I chose a dessert not on the menu: Modena cake with ice cream, artisanal and delicious. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the evening. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the arrangement of the tables: a little too close together, reducing privacy a little. Overall a great dining experience, I will definitely be back! My rating would be 4.5/5, but since this is not possible, I give 4 stars and not 5 only for the price/quantity ratio on some dishes and the space between the tables. Advised!

26/01/2025: If I could I would give 1000 stars. Excellent food, everything on the menu is delicious. The meat is very fresh and of great quality, pizzas are always well cooked and very good. I can't find a flaw anywhere. The service is impeccable, they have now become family... it is our favorite place!!

09/03/2025: Se siete amanti del tartufo, il Ristorante Il Gallo merita sicuramente una visita. Ieri sera ci sia andati per cena. Il locale presenta un'atmosfera accogliente e raffinata, ideale per una cena romantica o un pranzo con amici. Il menu è variegato e propone piatti in cui il tartufo è il protagonista indiscusso, dalle classiche Penne alla Norcina ai secondi di carne arricchiti da tartufo grattugiato in abbondanza. Ma anche chi non ama particolarmente il tartufo può trovare piatti cucinati in maniera eccezionale. La carne è la Regina. Ho preso un piatto di Costolette di Agnello: SUPERBO. Come solo nel Centro Italia sanno fare. La loro cucina è un abbraccio di sapori che coccolano il palato. Non dimenticate di riservare uno spazio per i dolci, che rappresentano un ottimo finale per un pasto già delizioso. Io ho preso un cannolo alla ricotta che è stata una vera esperienza sensoriale. Ricca anche la lista dei vini. Noi scegliamo un Brut Rosè di Mazzolino

The menu is extraordinary: from starters to desserts, each dish is an explosion of authentic flavors and high quality ingredients. The wine cellar is well stocked, with excellent labels for each pairing. Impeccable service: trained, attentive and always smiling staff. They also have a small shop with typical products. Absolutely worth trying

01/03/2025: Located in the medieval center of Pavia. Excellent food and service. The environment is actually nothing special, but the context located in the heart of the city must be considered. It's nice when it's a little cold and foggy; it appears like an ancient refuge.
