08/08/2026: It's a restaurant disguised as an osteria because the place presents itself in a refined and elegant way, while the food is certainly top-notch (the Piacenza caramels are truly WOW), as is the very careful presentation of the dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. The quality-price ratio was adequate for what we ate.

12/07/2026: Romantic dinner, very kind staff, menu that changes every few weeks—a rare treat, but much appreciated by me. Before and after dinner, appetizers with salted butter and homemade rolls are served, followed by homemade biscuits and a spectacular gin jelly. The Gragnano spaghetti with butter, Cantabrian anchovies, and brunch are especially noteworthy. Desserts are so-so, with tiramisu cream that was too runny for my personal taste. Overall, it's a 5-star experience.

16/04/2026: Pasta pasticciata, omelette with herbs, boiled potatoes, bunet, water, a quarter of wine, coffee, rose and basil digestive. €15, probably because the owners, both Biella natives and incredibly friendly, understood my Genoese roots and therefore didn't want to take away my well-deserved money. As for the descriptions of the osteria, I have nothing to add to other meticulous reviews. However, I do think it's important that it's a kind of phalanstery, built over a century ago on the site of a long-closed spinning mill. A workers' village complete with a nursery and church, a typical example of industrial paternalism that adds another point of interest.

18/07/2026: The restaurant you wouldn't expect. I decided to book this restaurant for a family evening, knowing there would also be live music. We dined outdoors in a very well-kept and clean courtyard. At sunset, the atmosphere became truly evocative, making the evening even more enjoyable. The real surprise was the menu: not the usual dishes, but sophisticated options of both meat and fish, prepared with quality ingredients that convey a decidedly high level of cuisine. The service was also attentive, professional, and always present without being intrusive. A pleasantly surprising place that I recommend to those who aren't satisfied with the usual restaurant, but are looking for a different experience, where atmosphere, quality, and attention to detail truly make the difference.

06/07/2026: A pleasant discovery in the Spessa countryside, just outside Pavia, nestled in a farmhouse. An intimate, family-friendly atmosphere, yet professional service. Quality ingredients expertly prepared. Definitely worth a try!

12/03/2026: Excellent location, very well presented. Reservations are required because seating is limited. It could also be a place for a romantic dinner, as everything about it makes it so, but it's also a place for a group dinner, but with style. I can't comment on the price since I was a guest, but looking at the menu, it's worth it.

07/03/2026: After many years, I returned with friends and was delighted to find excellently prepared dishes, fast, attentive, and friendly service, in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed several goose dishes (the terrine with brioche bread and onion jam and the pâté with croutons were splendid) of unquestionable quality, accompanied by homemade bread and breadsticks (bread with goose cracklings, black and white), which sold like hotcakes. The two desserts were excellent: the apple strudel with cream and the zabaglione cake. Prices were reasonable but not excessive. We will definitely be back.

09/08/2026: The restaurant is located in a green oasis and was once a mill. Excellent food, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. If you want to get away from the city and still eat well, this is the place. You can eat outside, but the inside dining room has a large window overlooking the stream. Ask for that table. We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: We wanted something special, and we found it. The presentation was impeccable, the flavors balanced in every dish we ordered. The service was excellent, and they made us feel comfortable. The location is superb and well-maintained. The unique decor, including the wall-length iron bottle rack, caught our attention. The furnishings were likely made by an artist. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu.

26/04/2026: The place is charming and the service impeccable. The pizzas, however, are more ambitious than they are good. Reading the menu, you'd expect to find the quality of a pizzeria in Caserta, but the quality of the ingredients and the dough is decidedly different. What a shame.

26/05/2026: I went for lunch today, my first visit to Vigevano. I stopped in the beautiful Piazza Ducale for a quick lunch and, after searching for the restaurant that I liked the most, I chose Rinascimento: both for the menu, which I found very inspiring, and for the friendliness of the waiter who served me, Aquila. I started with a small aperitif at 11:30, since the kitchen was still closed, accompanied by a glass of Franciacorta. Next, I chose an appetizer of mixed seafood crudités. For my entrée, I received a shrimp wrapped in kataifi pastry on a bed of red onions: truly delicious and carefully prepared. Next came the fish appetizer, and to finish, a cool and refreshing sorbet, perfect for today's scorching hot day (37 degrees!). It was a truly pleasant lunch break, not only for the location and the quality of the food, but also for the kindness and professionalism of Aquila and his colleagues. As soon as I have the chance, I will definitely come back!
