07/12/2025: All very good and plentiful. Truly noteworthy cuts. The only note is that I was sad to see that only one girl served the tables: we went on Saturday evening with a lot of people and large tables, a single girl serving the tables is really insufficient, in fact as soon as the place filled up a little the service slowed down Very. Still a place to return to.

07/12/2025: Let me explain why I'm giving it one star: the food was very good, the service was very good. The only problem with the place is the owner! He constantly pesters the staff, hovering all over the dining room, making the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Furthermore, the man has no manners. Quite the opposite of the staff who work for him. I would advise him to stay home; we diners would enjoy the delicacies prepared in his establishment much more.

25/11/2025: We needed a place for lunch on our drive from Modena to Alba, and a fortuitous Google search led us to La Buta. What an amazing hidden gem! Everything surpassed our expectations. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, the location was beautiful, and the food was incredible! This is absolutely worth a trip.

16/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Trattoria Quaglini, a regular stop for over 20 years whenever you want to eat well, spend time with friends and family in a unique atmosphere, and be greeted, as always, with a kindness that's rare these days. The Quaglini family is a prime example of how to create quality dining, using excellent local ingredients at fair prices. Hospitality is a strong point of this trattoria, with the staff friendly and always available to meet customer needs. Warmest regards to Marco, his son Marcello, and the entire staff.

19/10/2025: Very friendly staff. Good food, generous appetizers, and adequate portions of first and second courses. I really enjoyed the pork with almonds, prunes, onions, and sauerkraut; it was as melt-in-the-mouth as I'd hoped. The spaghetti with wild boar ragù tasted good but seemed a bit dry. The casio appetizer was very special.

05/10/2025: The welcome was excellent, and we felt pampered by the fireplace and candlelight. The staff were extremely kind and professional, and the food was typical of the Lomellina area, with house-made dishes, excellent cured meats, and delicious pasta with ragù, including the pumpkin gnocchi.

24/06/2025: Il locale è molto bello, curato, dentro e fuori, pulito e ben arredato. Ogni tanto io e il mio collega abbiamo cenato o pranzato, ci siamo trovati bene anche per la qualità e la varietà dei cibi. Però dopo ieri sera non credo che ci torneremo. Porzioni scarse: due antipasti, gnocchi alla romana fuori menù veramente miseri, due dolci ( che fatica seguire il modo in cui il cameriere lì elenca, glieli ho fatti ripetere tre volte), due calici di vino servito aperto, senza nemmeno assaggio. Il totale di 99 euro è stato veramente il colmo. Ho mangiato pesce di alta qualità in località marine di livello e non ho speso mai questa cifra. Mi dispiace, si può fare di più nelle porzioni, di meno nei prezzi e parlare un italiano comprensibile.

16/11/2025: On a pleasant family outing, we found this trattoria. We hadn't booked, but we were lucky because there was a table left. Courteous and friendly welcome. A lovely, extensive menu, generous portions, and traditional cuisine with captivating aromas. All washed down with a good wine. Clean and prompt service. Good value for money. Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: Yet another dinner at Francesco and Michela's: this time, too, it was absolutely worth the drive from Varese. It's an hour and a half's drive, but every time my friends and I manage to plan it, we can't wait to return. The food is excellent: top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by someone who truly knows what they're doing. The service is impeccable; Francesco is a genuine, knowledgeable, and highly knowledgeable host. The portions? Generous, trust me: I'm saying this as someone who weighs 107 kg! In short, a place you always return to with pleasure and leave 100% satisfied.

The place is quite casual, the food is spectacular and incredibly delicious, a true treat for the palate. The owner is truly sweet and incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend it. It's fantastic.

09/11/2025: Sunday lunch The place isn't very large, but it's nice and well-kept, and it's fully stocked, so it's a bit crowded and noisy. The fish was excellent; we chose scialatielli alla liparota, and the mussels were excellent, very fresh, as were the clams and prawns. We also had pasta with sardines, tasty and delicate. Afterwards, we shared a mix of calamari and prawns, peeled, tender, and delicious. Finally, we had cannoli with very fresh ricotta. In short, a good lunch!

06/10/2025: I really liked it. The staff is friendly and professional, and the dishes, mostly seafood, are delicious and reasonably priced. The chef is very friendly and quick. We'll be back and will recommend it.
