27/03/2024: Like being in Tuscany, when you enter you are greeted by the innkeeper who is a "Tuscan", he speaks to you in Tuscan and the food is Tuscan. The FIORENTINA was top, obviously after tasting the Tuscan crostini, a bit of finocchiona... what can I say, I'll definitely be back. Nice environment, clean and in Tuscan style, very friendly staff.

I'm not from Pavia but I will definitely return to try the delights found in these bistros. Furthermore, I have celiac disease and I found so many gluten-free options that I was spoiled for choice (starting from the starters and ending with the dessert). The icing on the cake: the owner has something extra! SUPER SUPER RECOMMENDED!

24/03/2024: In occasione del compleanno del mio ragazzo, insieme ad amici abbiamo deciso di provare questo home restaurant, che ci aveva incuriosito per le sue ottime recensioni e di cui avevamo già sentito parlare molto bene. E le aspettative non sono state deluse! Abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare il menù di carne, e ogni portata si è rivelata una vera e propria delizia. Menzione speciale per l'amuse-bouche agli asparagi, fresco e delicato, un perfetto inizio per il nostro pranzo. Ma la vera star del menù è stato senza dubbio il guancialino al ripasso della Valpolicella: morbido, saporito e perfettamente cotto. Oltre all'eccellenza del cibo, ciò che ci ha colpito maggiormente è stata l'atmosfera. Calda e accogliente, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa di amici. Il merito va anche a Odo, l'oste, che con la sua premura e gentilezza ha reso il nostro pranzo ancora più speciale. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la vista mozzafiato sui vigneti che circondano il ristorante. Un panorama che ha reso ancora più piacevole il nostro pranzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Everything is placed in a very beautiful place, the view can also be admired from the toilets, which are particularly clean and with attention to detail. The strong point of the place is its owner, a passionate and very nice professional.

04/02/2024: Visited in summer Yes, it's worth it to get up here after an hour and a half drive from Milan and it certainly won't be the last time! This place is run by a family that has been working with passion and honesty for decades. A family that welcomes you into their home, not in a restaurant, and that guides you to discover sensational dishes, made with fresh and genuine raw materials, all prepared at home. Starting with the bread and all the varieties of fresh pasta they have on the menu. We spent almost three very pleasant hours at the table enjoying the fabulous dishes, following the suggestions of the host and his wife. We started with a kindly offered entrée based on their courgette cream. We then continued with a mixed local appetizer, consisting of salami, capocollo, bacon, sweet and sour vegetables and a fantastic Schitta, I also tasted some fine and delicate fried porcini mushrooms that my partner and her mother took. We were then convinced to continue with the superlative tagliolini with summer truffle (a dish not on the menu) which had been shown to us before lunch by the landlady, very fresh and fragrant and served in abundance! My partner's father ordered and shared with us an excellent dish of braised ravioli: exceptional! Finally, I closed with a truly well-done and original tasting of cheeses, coming, among other things, from Calabria, Sicily, the island of Pag and England. The opinion on the homemade desserts was also unanimously positive. Lunch was accompanied by an excellent 100% Barbera from the Frecciarossa company, a wine that undergoes a passage in barrels and then completes refinement in steel. Absolutely fair price given the quality of the preparations.
