It was our only certainty from the weekend we organized last Mantua. This osteria is a must-try for those who want to try traditional dishes. We focused on the first courses, all delicious. Special mention for the picon risotto. The atmosphere was peaceful and everyone was very friendly. Recommended!!

An old-fashioned tavern, run like it used to be... Limited seating, so advance reservations are recommended. Traditional dishes, executed to perfection. The staff is attentive to their guests' needs: you absolutely must try the mustard made by the owner!

I made a reservation just to be on the safe side, and I must say it's mandatory. I saw many people without reservations who, unfortunately (for them), weren't able to eat. Very well-maintained place, fast staff, and above all, excellent food.

13/03/2026: We tried the traditional cured meats, tortelli, bigoli, and the ever-present sbrisolona at this traditional and welcoming osteria. The service was good. We highly recommend it!
11/03/2026: Delicious dinner! I chose a charcuterie board with fried gnocco and a pasta dish filled with parmesan cream. The gnocco was fried to perfection: crispy, light, and not very greasy! Truly excellent value for money, I absolutely recommend stopping by this osteria.

13/04/2026: I went to a wedding anniversary lunch: the place was warm and welcoming, the dishes were carefully prepared with quality ingredients. Impeccable service. Congratulations!
22/03/2026: A couple runs this restaurant in a renovated 200-year-old building. It has a swimming pool, and the meat dishes are excellent in both taste and service. The atmosphere in the rooms is superb. It's quiet. Be careful on the national highway outside town, and I recommend going by car if possible. I want to go again.
