03/07/2025: Pleasant and welcoming environment. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Wide choice of meats, but above all, really high quality. Few ingredients for a guaranteed success, we left the place happy to have eaten well and to have spent an evening well managed from every point of view by the place. Finally, in my opinion, the bill was perfect, therefore excellent quality/price ratio.

15/06/2025: It was my first time, hosted by a couple of friends. Absolutely super experience, from the welcome, to the mise en place, to the service and last but not least the food. Very high quality, presented in an equally captivating and elegant way. A special note also for the choice of glasses with a decidedly refined design.

03/07/2025: Had dinner at this restaurant with my family to celebrate my son's birthday. We ate risotto with frogs, risotto with pontel, risotto with catfish and perch, risotto with saltai and fried fish. A spectacle, very generous portions and excellent preparation of the dishes. We were happy and will definitely return. The only downside is the acoustics of the place. It is difficult to talk and understand each other without shouting. When the place is full you leave with a headache and without a voice.

07/06/2025: Dopo tantissimi anni siamo venuti in zona a pranzo e scoperto questo ristorante. Tutto ottimo, dagli antipasti, ai primi e al dolce. Porzioni davvero molto abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Locale accogliente e personale gentile e molto attento al cliente. Ci hanno regalato una bellissima giornata e festeggiato il compleanno inaspettato. Ci torneremo sicuramente

12/06/2025: Place immersed in the countryside so much so that I thought the navigator had gone crazy. It is a country courtyard with a large outdoor space, but there is still no shortage of seats inside and inside it is a show of vintage things and more. The menu includes typical things of the area with some digressions. Not a very well-stocked cellar but of good quality and the staff is efficient despite the amount of people to serve and the owner is a very nice person. I will return very willingly.

05/06/2025: Beautiful agriturismo, simple but with traditional dishes but also innovative desserts. The Amarone cheesecake with a sbrisolona base is a must-try. A tip for cyclists: it is easily reached from the Mincio cycle path, exiting near Marmirolo for a refreshing break.

04/06/2025: If you want to get lost in a countryside experience Corte Barco is the right place! What a pleasant surprise to find this place, eating here the delicacies of Mantua immersed in nature! Fresh and high quality food! Here I was able to taste the Bufala tagliata for the first time! And I certainly did not miss the dessert of the good Terramisù! Fin dal primo momento, Cristina e suo fratello, i titolari del ristorante, hanno dimostrato un’eccezionale professionalità e attenzione ai dettagli. L’organizzazione è stata impeccabile, senza tempi morti, e ogni momento della serata ha brillato di un’energia unica. Il tocco speciale della serata è stato lo spettacolo delle Drag Queen di Simona Sventura, che ha regalato divertimento e pura magia agli ospiti. You should return to taste the many dishes on the menu. The environment is clean and the service is prompt. The staff is attentive and prepared. The house dessert is essential. You leave the table very satisfied.

Il menù è ricco di piatti della tradizione mantovana: i tortelli di zucca sono semplicemente favolosi, il budino di zucca davvero buonissimo. I prezzi sono coerenti con la qualità dei piatti

28/06/2025: Sorprendentemente espacioso, un montón de personal servicial. La búsqueda de Google antes no me informaba que también hacía pizzas que nos venían bien, como vegetarianos , bueno. Poca opción vegetariana de lo contrario. Buena comida y vino en un ambiente agradable.

22/06/2025: Our lunch visit today was very good. Although we unfortunately didn't speak Italian, the service was always patient and smiled. The recommendation from our RV neighbor in Pieve di Coriano was excellent. We ate the delicious pumpkin tortellini with ragu and with butter and sage. The "dolce" didn't disappoint either. The Mantua Lambrusco brightened up the 15 km bike ride home. We'll be back.

22/06/2025: Marte (the owner) is a historic restaurateur from the lower Mantua area. Together with his sister Emilia, they create truly delicious first courses and fantastic desserts.

05/07/2025: Like others, I also looked for a place with typical cuisine. In fact, here they serve fried frogs and snails that I have not found elsewhere and that are perhaps the strong dishes because the ones I tried were not so good (rice, stew, pike). I must say that expectations were high and I did not leave satisfied, indeed I would say a little bitter about the final quality/price ratio.

30/06/2025: I followed the advice of many people who had already visited this tavern! I can only confirm how good the dishes are! The tavern is very close to the center, better to book in advance because it is always full and there is a good reason! Typical Mantua dishes and appetizers not only Mantua but also from other nearby cities with quality cheeses and cured meats! Very kind and above all fast staff :) Prices are normal. Super, super recommended!
