16/04/2026: I have returned regularly to Valì since the day they opened, more than three years ago, and the experience has only improved over time. Today, it stands as the finest restaurant in Ticino. Chef-owner Cesare Valenti leads a remarkable house, together with the support of Pablo in the kitchen, Gaetano and Levan in service, and Roberto at the front desk and in hospitality. The result is a level of excellence that has become increasingly rare: warm, precise and genuinely elegant hospitality, paired with unique modern Italian cuisine deeply influenced by the chef’s Sicilian motherland. Guests are welcomed with exquisite small bites, outstanding house-made flavored butter, exceptional bread, and a sense that every detail matters. Delicious is too small a word. Everything is thoughtful, generous and beautifully executed. For me, simply the best in Ticino.
