22/04/2025: We went for my birthday, a really beautiful place, an ancient convent from which it takes its name. There are various menus with various prices, we had the €39 one which included a danced aperitif (very nice), a mega buffet (to call it mega is almost to belittle it) and a risotto with taleggio cheese, crushed rosemary and very good crunchy bacon, including wine, water and coffee plus entry to the disco (which is the same place). During dinner they played a very nice quiz game on the phone with a bottle of champagne up for grabs. After dinner we move to the ballroom and the disco begins with the two soundproofed rooms of the "big sister" where a special interview is held, and the karaoke where you can go wild singing whatever you want! A really fun evening! In addition to my birthday and 2 other birthdays there were also 2 hen parties and my brother had been last year to have his stag party...a place where you certainly can't get bored!

12/02/2025: In this place I find the pizza light and digestible, a lot of attention to detail (you will notice an obsessive rolling out of the dough, the roundest on the market) balanced flavours, it is clear that there is a certain experience. Very kind owner and guys, super recommended!

05/03/2025: We went to the spit evening and I must admit that I ate an exceptional "dirty" soup and a superlative spit!! All accompanied by the restaurant service which proved to be perfect and very pleasant. Definitely worth trying again!! I highly recommend it!!

26/04/2024: We had read the previous reviews and so we were prepared, it is not an Italian restaurant, it has typical Sri Lankan cuisine. Another point worthy of note is that the menu is only written in English, which is why the very kind waiter who explained the dishes to us helped us. The place is large and clean (even the bathrooms). The kitchen is sufficient. The price is excellent

13/04/2024: Very quiet and welcoming place. Abundant and good food. The staff is friendly, helpful and smiling. I recommend the Nasi Goreng to everyone.. very good, its spiciness is just right. We took the chicken and beef devilled home, but we're sure those will be good too! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

07/12/2024: Bread, panettone, traditional pandoro and various flavours. Then again rose cakes, lumberjack bread, ...spongade, local biscuits, breadsticks, all rigorously baked from the oven behind the shop by a passionate craftsman with three generations of bakers behind him. What can I say... authenticity of taste!

31/03/2025: Three inedible and uneaten pizzas, two beers, a coke, the seafood on a pizza uncommendable, buffalo mozzarella "perhaps" frozen on the pizza, all for 63 euros. And they asked basically: is everything okay? What the hell, can't you see we haven't eaten? Also taken for a ride! Vomiting day.

14/02/2025: Local in the center of Rovato, excellent for an aperitif or a glass of wine. Great choice of wines and in particular Franciacorta, refined cuisine.

13/04/2025: In a family environment with very kind and helpful staff we ate excellent dishes: homemade appetizers, excellent casoncelli of various kinds and tasty second courses. Absolutely recommended!!! We will be back soon!!!

07/12/2024: It is a typical village trattoria. Entrance with elderly people speaking dialect, village bar with television and bar service. Then the restaurant opens, wonderfully simple with paper tablecloths but with impeccable service. And at that point comes an apotheosis of casoncelli handmade in various ways, appetizers of artisanal cured meats, mushrooms in oil, a meat fillet that seems to be thrown away. And to finish, a light and fragrant tart-type sbrisolona cake. In short... it won't be a coincidence if there are also photos of chef barbers on the wall....
