22/02/2026: Good, nothing exceptional compared to the others, but not inferior either. The pro is that there's a space for children to play and have fun while away the time.

17/01/2026: I paid €8.70 for a piadina (basically 18,000 lire, Prime Ministerial Decree!), only to find it dry, hard to chew, and almost completely empty. Nonexistent toppings, ghost mayonnaise, zero flavor. For that price, at least fill it properly. A disappointing and frankly shameful experience. We won't be back.

29/09/2025: The perfect antidote to a carefree day is right before your eyes! If you come here for breakfast, you're sure to be satisfied. The girls are incredibly friendly in a breathtaking location! They have tables inside, on the veranda, and even outside with a WOW lake view! The cappuccinos are top-notch, and the croissants are all delicious!

19/08/2025: I only bought two cold drinks at this cafe, but I want to emphasize the friendliness and kindness with which I was greeted. The lady who served me was all smiles and did everything she could to understand me despite my almost non-existent Italian. Thank you to her!

I think it's the perfect place for those looking for family-style cooking and warmth, and the chance to sample the typical flavors of Bergamo cuisine. 05/11/2025: Centrally located, next to the church and across from the primary school (and 20 meters from the secondary school), this is a lovely, elegant and comfortable place to enjoy a good breakfast. Need we say? Highly recommended.

12/08/2025: Pizzeria San Martino, a few steps from my house and somewhat hidden, is nevertheless well-known in the area. In the first two or three years after opening, it stood out for its attention to every detail: a tidy place, impeccable service, and consistently excellent pizza. After a few years, the quality of the pizza has remained extremely high—truly among the best—as has the service and the welcoming, pleasant atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the outdoor area. During nights and on days when it's closed, the terrace becomes a place of passage and rest for people who leave it in a shabby condition, significantly degrading its overall image. This unfortunately takes away from the place's charm, to the point that, even when it reopens at the end of the summer, those who pass by during these weeks are unlikely to have a good impression. My advice is to consider permanently removing the terrace and replacing it with a well-kept and striking entrance: two tall, elegant candles, or two slender, well-kept flowerpots, perhaps with a nice rug at the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the current exterior risks putting off customers. It would be a shame not to take action, given the excellent quality of the cuisine.

21/02/2026: Beautiful day. Lovely weather. The chairlift staff were very friendly. We were disappointed not to be able to relax in the solarium, as there were barely ten loungers available. We had to head back down after less than half an hour, leaving our friends skiing upstairs and giving up on the idea of ​​waiting for them to have lunch. Next time, we'll have to remember to bring our own loungers.

29/03/2026: A café-bistro in Bergamo Alta, located in a fantastic spot on a small square with a beautiful view. We stopped for an aperitif and were seated on their outdoor terrace. The breeze and coolness of the late afternoon prompted us to turn on the gas stove, and the waiters kindly provided us with some comforting warmth. Our aperitifs—two spritzes, a juice, and a tea—were served without anything, not even chips. After several attempts and requests to the waiters, they told us they didn't have chips... and served salty popcorn in two small glasses. We were speechless when we tasted the dried-out, flavorless popcorn. At the counter, two spritzes, tea, and juice, 25.50.

06/12/2025: I don't like to judge a business negatively based on a single experience, but as a consumer, I felt cheated. I discovered this lovely café and popped in for a quick takeout lunch. I ordered a classic jumbo toastie at 12:30. After a 15-minute wait, I received it for €8 (the receipt, which I read later, indicated it was a jumbo toastie with extra ingredients that weren't there). Cold slices of cooked ham and a measly slice of cheese. A pricey experience in terms of the unjustified wait (the café was nearly empty) and the quality/price ratio. I'll return to try breakfast or another meal and will update my review, but I really can't give it more than 2/5 stars.
