24/04/2025: Disfrutamos de nuestra segunda visita en tantos años a Sant 'Ambroeus. El menú es muy local y muy bueno. Los cursos de pasta y ternera fueron fantásticos Mientras está situado en la plaza principal, todavía puede tener una cena íntima mientras disfruta de la actividad que rodea la plaza. La carta de vinos es fantástica, con muchas opciones no disponibles en los Estados Unidos, que es refrescante. Fue un restaurante maravilloso para nuestra última noche en esta mágica ciudad vieja.

08/08/2025: A modern location with a wide variety of options. The Sunday evening aperitif is highly recommended; it's very generous and high-quality. The location and buffet area are a bit cramped given the large crowd, and the layout could perhaps be improved, but the service is still fast and friendly. The price is in line with the offerings.

01/08/2025: It's always the right place when you don't know where to go... because it offers a wide selection of dishes for all tastes, from salads to first courses, from burgers to platters... very friendly staff... I recommend it!

09/06/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch during the Strigarium, which took place on the first weekend of June. A large place with a summer area, perfect for parties or events. Very kind and friendly staff, fast service.

26/04/2025: Birthday party with 13 6 year old children, super inflatables, less food, small quantities, slightly stale chips, sandwiches (1 each no more) which I was told smelled of alcohol. I asked for two bottles of water which, after a final bill of 226 euros, they had the courage and elegance to charge. I asked for a fruit tart from a pastry shop (I was told by the "lady" that they used a pastry shop in the village) and a cake arrived that looked like the ones my mother made for me in the 90s. 2.7 kg cake for almost €80. Good but ugly, I was expecting a nice cake, not a gray one... As soon as we entered there was a suffocating and embarrassing smell of fried food, I asked to have everything thrown open and I was also asked why... staff were visibly pissed off/annoyed and we had to go and look for them... because they have other things to do.... I think never again... the children left hungry... and then the smallness of asking for two bottles of water... ridiculous ps: cut the grapes on the cake in half (since children eat it)

02/07/2025: I have been here twice. The ice cream is good, but the best thing is that you can sit outside, since they are inside a condominium with a kind of elevated walkway. This way you can sit and enjoy the afternoon. Note that in January they are closed, but they remain open throughout the summer, even on August 15th.

26/05/2025: Location located on the lakefront of Sarnico. Delicious Mohito-flavored granita! Kind and knowledgeable staff. I recommend this ice cream shop!

10/07/2025: Ci andai 10 anni fa da solo du consiglio di un mio amico bergamasco e soddisfatto per il rapporto qualità/prezzo sono tornato con la famiglia. Casoncelli ottimi come all'ultima mia visita ma prezzi lievitati eccessivamente. A parte che il coperto era specificato solo sul menú una volta seduto, per due piatti di casoncelli e due piatti di pasta al sugo per i bimbi con un quartino di vino e una bottiglia d'acqua 80€ sono indubbiamente eccessivi (pasta al sugo 14€). È vero che la pasta al pomodoro non era in menú ma considerando che anche ai bimbi è stato conteggiato un coperto a testa 14€ sono un furto.Mai piú!

11/07/2025: A refuge with a beautiful view of the Northern Grigna (Grignone) and Southern Grigna (Grignetta). The refuge's strong point, I'd say, is the food. The polenta with mushrooms and the cheese platter were excellent. I haven't seen the rooms, however. The location, however, isn't the best; there are no paths or meadows around, just a few tables and a small patch of meadow just below the refuge. The refuge is a little lower (about 70-80 meters in elevation, if I'm not mistaken) than the path that leads from Piani di Bobbio to Rifugio Grassi and Pizzo dei Tre Signori, from the fork just before Passo Del Toro. The path, however, is quite wide (recently widened) and suitable for families. I'm not sure what the path is like for ascending from below (Barzio or Introbio).

29/06/2025: Highly recommended refuge where you can eat excellent pizzoccheri, risotto with sausage and beef stew with polenta. Excellent desserts. Very fast and kind service!

13/07/2025: A lovely hotel surrounded by nature. Truly stunning lake and mountain views! Very friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant offers a good, though limited, menu. The room is comfortable but not modern. Excellent value for money!

05/07/2025: Two stars only because the products they use are good...but when the service is so poor and inattentive, it makes you lose the desire to eat!! A truly unrelaxing evening and luckily it wasn't full! The bill was quite high. I wouldn't go back!

22/02/2025: I often go to this place for both lunch and dinner. When you enter you notice a family atmosphere, the owner, Mrs. Marisol, always kind and cheerful, welcomes the guest making him feel like one of the family. Here you can taste the renewed dishes of Bolivian cuisine. If someone prefers some dishes from Italian cuisine, the owner tries to satisfy customer requests with choices of international Italian cuisine. The products served are of excellent quality and the composition of the dishes prepared by the staff in the kitchen is beautiful. Excellent choice of both beers and wines that you can choose to enjoy an excellent meal of Latin cuisine. Clean environment in all rooms. I will definitely return

Excellent and plentiful aperitif, exquisite drinks. High-quality seafood entrees and an excellent selection of wines and beverages. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ALEX AND MARK
