01/10/2025: Excellent restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wonderful view of the hills. Carefully crafted dishes and generous portions, fabulous mushroom risotto, and perfect prices! The tasting menu is well-crafted, and eating so well with a beautiful view is not a given. The staff is young but extremely kind and attentive, always smiling and full of passion. The interior is well-kept and welcoming.

08/12/2025: Friendly staff in a rustic setting. It's a shame about the outdoor bathroom, which is a bit inconvenient in the winter, but I don't think it can be helped given the layout of the place. The burgers and grill are excellent, but it's a shame about the sausage, which, in my opinion, lowers the quality.

Occasionally available in the evening, but only by reservation and with a menu selection. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming; after a few minutes, you'll feel right at home.

01/12/2025: I have never eaten such a bad pizza. I ate a seafood pizza with the mussel shells falling apart on the pizza. The aftertaste of the mussels is unimaginable. I also had a stomachache that warranted a complaint.

06/10/2025: I only had a coffee there, but the atmosphere is very nice, well-kept, and clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is beautiful on Lake Endine in the municipality of Endine Gaiano. There are indoor and outdoor seating.

La Gare is a hidden gem nestled in Caravaggio, the surrounding areas include a relaxing walk along Santuario boulevard to the Sanctuary of holy virgin of Caravaggio. Mario, the Owner/chef will amaze you with outstanding top quality dishes. I recommend to try the “Carta Bianca” tasting menu for a full dinner experience, you will not forget it, it is worth every penny.

Each dish is coherent and rounded on the palate, leaving a clean mouth. The risotto is, without a doubt, THE signature dish: never banal, perfectly creamed, technically impeccable, with a lightness that doesn't sacrifice depth of flavor. The meat dishes are always memorable: from the tartare to the cutlet, to the spare rib. Luca in the kitchen and Stefano in the dining room demonstrate experience, vision, and potential. The dishes speak of research, passion, and technique; while the service combines precision and customer care. Desserts also deserve special mention, for their simplicity and flavor: from the Tarte Tatin to the Chocolate Fondant, they are a fitting finale to the gastronomic journey. A dessert can't be taken for granted, even if it's simply "good," often not even in a pastry shop, let alone a restaurant. 20/09/2025: Il luogo è carino, pulito e accogliente. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. Il mangiare buono ma a mio avviso nulla di eclatante, anzi mi è persa un po’ una forzatura come Le patatine del sacchetto nel piatto ma anche i panini stessi. Ad ogni modo il prezzo è più o meno proporzionato all’esperienza, che in fondo è carina. Non è un posto dove tornerei per scelta.

06/08/2025: Highly recommended. Their focaccia is the best I've had in Liguria and probably the best I've ever had. I've been a couple of times, and the second time I ordered two trays before leaving for home. The owner was really helpful, as I had a train connection and had to rush through everything. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again!
