05/07/2025: TLDR: One of the best, healthy, vegan meals you'll have in all of Italy from owners who care in the cleanest and cutest restaurant. We have eaten across most of Italy and this is better than the €250+ meals we have had. Atmosphere: Finally a restaurant that is loved and well-kept. It is super clean, there is a "vibe" as the kids say these days, and love is poured into every detail. Even some of the expensive, Michelin restaurants in Roma and Torino let their bathrooms go or some small detail like they did not care anymore. Not at Shakti though. Perfect. Service: they likely do not get many non-Italian tourists, but the server was super nice and used Google translate to talk with us in English. Service speed was perfect, five courses in 2.5 hours. Some other restaurants take FOREVER to bring out courses. NOTE: CASH ONLY! Food: This is where Shakti shines. Every dish was plated like Michelin quality art and also tasted amazing. Each dish was completely different with flavors and textures while not being too fussy. One of the problems we have with a lot of Michelin fine dining is they turn everything into a mousse, foam, or creme and you never have to chew anything. Shakti does it right by giving you the creme with the crunch and all super healthy without all the oil. We left feeling light and refreshed. The set menu changes often so you'll likely get something different our courses were: 1. Falafel bite, homemade "cheese", and a small salad. 2. The world's best millet gnocchi bolognese. 3. Crepe with pesto green beans. 4. White bean and zucchini cake. 5. Mille-feuille All of this for under €40 / person! If you like great food you MUST go. Over two weeks of different restaurants in Italy and this has been the best so far. Do not let the hidden menu, calling for reservations, or cash only deter you. This is magic in your belly.

02/06/2025: It was a real culinary experience, you can choose between 3 or 5 course tastings... I don't know if there is a menu (we relied on the 3-port deg) too bad I didn't take a photo of the first one which was semolina gnocchi with a really good room... concluded with a super good dessert... Possibility of an external part, you pay only in cash.. Good experience 😋

17/07/2025: We arrived by chance, after 2 pm, but despite this, they welcomed us and served us with extreme kindness, and they reopened the kitchen. The food was home-style, but very good.

15/07/2025: Lunch is €11.00, the menu changes frequently, and overall it's good. A particularly critical point is the owner, who obsessively checks to make sure you're finished eating before asking you to leave the table. It's intolerable.

04/08/2025: After two weeks in Toscane and trying out different pizzas here, the taste and the price of pizza from this restaurant is the best! It was even friendly delivered to our hotel! Great service and authentic taste!

05/07/2025: I heard it has changed ownership, but being in Cremona and living around the corner, l had to see if it stands up to its previous reputation. We actually came here twice in two weeks, and my daughter picked up takeaway as well. We certainly did not have to wait long for our order, and the service was good. The pizzas are still huge and full of flavour, and the wine is extremely good. The restaurant is small, with plenty of elbow room, but you would not leave it too late to enter. I 'm not sure if you can book, but since being Australians, we were there always early. Great choice if in Cremona and want an authentic Italian pizza. Love it ❤️

02/08/2025: Disappointing, the operators say they can't cut a 500g piece of culatello. The packaging is very disappointing. I had to give up on other purchases. I don't trust them anymore.

20/07/2025: This restaurant is located on Via Ripamonti in southern Milan. It's very spacious inside and has a garden outside. They have good burgers and excellent service. They don't offer typical food, but it's a great place to go with friends or family.

22/05/2025: Quite a small place...but well-kept and well-maintained (I haven't had the pleasure of being in the internal garden yet), run by very nice and kind people. I tried the pinsa and I have to say that it is truly exquisite and very easy to digest. Very honest prices and quality products...very good and homemade desserts. I had known it for work (at lunch I had eaten traditional dishes well too)...after having been there one evening with my family, I really think it will become my go-to place.

19/06/2025: Co sono stata col mio compagno. Io sono celiaca. Arrivano al tavolo il pizzaiolo e la proprietaria: si scusano: non hanno più pasta gluteen free fresca però se voglio mi scongeleranno una confezione di pasta scongelata che mi mostrano. Rispondo "va bene ma toglietemi il pomodoro perché contiene nickel e io sono sono allergica". La pizza del mio compagno (non celiaco) a suo dire era eccellente, la mia (scongelata) mangiabile. Chiediamo il conto e si ripresenta la proprietaria: "La pizza congelata la offriamo noi per scusarci per il disagio!". Grandissimi! Molto attenti, accoglienti ed accudenti.

05/07/2025: An excellent solution for those who aim for the essentials with an excellent quality-price ratio. No TV in the rooms but cleanliness and tranquility. To those who manage the structure, I would suggest greater attention in choosing the foods for breakfast.

28/05/2025: An authentic corner of Piedmont to rediscover Last night my partner and I had dinner at the Il 14 restaurant in Carmagnola, in the heart of the historic center, a stone's throw from charming squares and porticos that tell the story of a town as beautiful as it is underrated, on the edge of the Langhe. Even though it was a quiet Tuesday night, we were struck by the quiet of the center: a place that definitely deserves more life and attention. The restaurant has slightly dated furnishings, but consistent with the context of the village, which helps create a familiar and authentic atmosphere. What made the real difference, however, was the welcome: the ladies in the dining room were very kind, attentive and always smiling. We started with an excellent appetizer to share, consisting of veal with tuna sauce and Carmagnola sausage, two local classics prepared with taste and simplicity. To follow, I enjoyed a tagliata with baked potatoes — tender meat cooked as I wanted, generous portion — so much so that I asked for another plate of those delicious potatoes! My partner chose a more creative second course: Potato & provola gratin with chickpea hummus, well-balanced in flavors. To end on a sweet note, we treated ourselves to two slices of artisanal cake, truly worthy. We accompanied it all with a half bottle of Nebbiolo, a bottle of water, a coffee and a limoncello. In the end, with only 70 euros, we had a perfect evening: abundant dishes, quality, courtesy and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended for those who love traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with an excellent quality-price ratio. A place where we will definitely return.

27/07/2025: I recommend this restaurant and pizzeria for its enormous fish-based first courses and fish-based second courses. When you come here, you gorge yourself. I recommend it to truck drivers, who I know are good eaters, but it's also an elegant place to bring your girlfriend super excellent cuisine.
