Incredible, incredible, fresh as fresh can be meal tucked into the verdant mountains, next to a small ancient church and an adjacent goods store “Bottega suissa”. Best pesto I’ve ever had, incredible homemade ravioli, fried items that give me no heart burn but warmed me inside like polenta with Gorgonzola, frittata with meat. Beef stew, vegetables, and desserts with fresh berries, all with the scent of the mountains among you. Just beautiful and charming.

05/05/2026: A historic osteria in the center of Genoa, just steps from Brignole. A few dishes, but all traditional, including their homemade pesto, an absolute delight. The dishes are very traditional and delicious. We tried the Ligurian-style mixed meats, the tripe, and the farinata with onions... a business lunch... I'll be back often...

04/07/2026: For years, I've been going to Vittorio's place whenever I've been in Chiavari, sometimes for dinner, sometimes for lunch. Everything is always delicious, and the service is exceptionally friendly. It closed this winter for renovations and remained closed for several months, but the wait was worth it. The place has been completely renovated and refurbished, while still maintaining that charming rustic feel. Congratulations. They don't take reservations, and especially on Saturdays and Sundays, it's best to arrive a little before 7 pm for dinner.
