26/09/2025: A wonderful surprise in the heart of Albenga. A restaurant offering traditional Ligurian and other dishes, overlooking Piazza Domenico Tricheri. A simple location with a large and welcoming outdoor terrace. You're immediately welcomed by Roberto, a courteous and friendly person who made the entire evening a memorable one. The digital menu offers appetizers, first courses, jacket potatoes, meats such as tagliata and tartare, burgers, salads, and desserts. For drinks, in addition to water, wine, and soft drinks, there are also local beers. Service is prompt and attentive. The food is excellent, very tasty, and has bold flavors. The jacket potatoes are absolutely delicious. The bill is perfect, and the prices are not at all high and very affordable. In conclusion, I highly recommend trying this restaurant and will definitely return as soon as I have the opportunity.

15/10/2025: After a quick aperitivo two days ago, we came back today for dinner… the Filangé di Tonno and Tartare di manzo were great antipasti… only to be topped by Spaghetti ai muscoli de la Nonna and the tagliata di manzo… friendly service by the owner, great conversation… we will be back again before we head home in some days! 👍

29/09/2025: Interesting experience which goes beyond of just having pizza. Of course the pizza is tasty but what also makes this place special is the owner who is very sweet and kind with a special character. I will remember the nice experience of sitting with locals and enjoying my pizza while having a big smile.

22/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in the Imperia province. The fish and all the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The best mixed seafood appetizer ever: you're then served 4-5 different seafood dishes (some with raw fish) that are a true sensory experience! The cuisine follows tradition (brandacujun, cappon magro, etc.) but with a touch of innovation and creativity. Excellent wine list.

13/10/2025: I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

07/10/2025: Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.

Living abroad, we organized everything remotely—and yet, every aspect was handled flawlessly thanks to the professionalism and availability of Paola and Roberta. The setting, surrounded by greenery and with elegant spaces and attention to detail, created the perfect atmosphere for an international wedding celebration. Many of our guests, from various countries—and accustomed to different contexts—complimented us on the beauty of the venue, the harmony of the spaces, and the quality of the decor. Both the service and the cuisine were truly meticulous. From the fabulous appetizers to the cake, every course was served with punctuality and care. The menu was excellent: carefully selected dishes, quality ingredients, and balanced portions. Even those with special dietary needs were accommodated without any difficulty. The service in the magnificent Arabian tent was punctual, professional, and always with a smile—everything was perfect! The guests, speaking different languages ​​and cultures, felt at ease, both with the welcome and the delicious food. 30/10/2025: I thought it was the SMERALDO of the past... we returned after many years... and we only found one big disappointment... on the menu there are few first courses and the waitress immediately offers you the crescia with cold cuts and everyone with this crescia they offer... IN CONCLUSION. GAME OVER... never again there

28/10/2025: "Review for the restaurant only" There was a time when you could eat divinely, abundantly, and at incredible prices. Today, inflation, social and geopolitical tensions have created confusion, a detachment from reality, and I don't know what else in the minds of some people. I can understand the price—€25 per person for a fixed fish menu, where you can't choose anything anyway—okay, I can understand the quantity, halved compared to ten years ago, but I can't understand the quality, which in my opinion has dropped significantly. Sure, I've been there recently and may have been unlucky, but overall I can say that in my opinion the quality isn't good enough. I'd give it five stars for the service and the ambiance, compared to the food (one star). The table is immediately generously filled with focaccia, bread, crostini, and pizza, all seemingly pleasant but which makes you wonder how to fill your stomach, because looking at the portions of the first and second courses, I can tell they're not up to standard (grams). I can't say whether the fish is frozen or not, and there are some delicious frozen ones out there, but I know it and I'll keep it to myself. I'll just say that the seafood scent wasn't there, and the fried food was overcooked and dark, meaning the oil might need changing. I'm fine with the price, I'm fine with the quantity, but at least it should be quality, otherwise I'll eat it. Thanks.
