12/12/2025: Went for dinner just before 8pm. Service is friendly but very slow. They were more attentive to the table before us. After taking our orders, we were served with a welcome snack, chickpea fritters. I find them a tad bit salty and could use with a dip. It's not oily but you can taste the oil flavor on it. We were also served with a platter of small sliced bread, break sticks (lovely flavor) and small sliced toasted bread with olive oil and rosemary/oregano (also very lovely flavor). You need to request for the olive oil/balsamic vinegar as it's not placed on the table as a setup. For my main, I ordered the green spaghetti with tuna. Nice dish but a bit salty. The portion is very good. I didn't have any dessert but my friends ordered the vanilla ice-cream with cake/ biscuits on the side. The portion of ice cream was a bit too small to accompany the 4 big pieces of cake/biscuits. The cake/biscuits is very dry too. All-in-all, it was a good experience. Would I go back again? Yes. Irregardless of the mentioned above as the food is still good and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant.

13/10/2025: I just returned home after spending a week in Santa Margherita Ligure. Six of seven days (they're closed on Sundays) this is were I got my breakfast. The best focaccia I've ever have tasted, kind service and they open early. Thanks!

07/10/2025: Located near the port area, coming from the center, go past the castle, stay on the same side, enter one of the narrow streets, and you'll find yourself before this treasure trove of goodness and authenticity. I confess, it's the first time pizzas and focaccias haven't made me thirsty enough to drink a liter of water as soon as I digest them. Good to know, then. It will be my go-to place in beautiful Santa Margherita Ligure. But not just focaccias, pizzas, and bread, but also sweets, which I'll definitely buy. Friendly service, too. See you soon.

24/11/2025: Excellent trattoria serving home-cooked food. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch with friends, featuring a set menu, and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The portions are generous, and after several appetizers, three first courses, and two second courses, we were left feeling very full. The dessert selection is varied, and the wine list is extensive.

23/11/2025: If you're in the area, do yourself a big favor - come in here. The entrance is modest, and doesn't hint at the treasures you'll find inside. The service is cordial, although they speak mainly Italian, but the owner knows how to present what's there, very patient and cordial. Even though we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was no free space, they quickly improvised a place for us. The food is wonderful, my dish - ravioli, expertly made with a fine tomato and mushroom sauce. My partner ordered sea bream which was described as "excellent" with wonderful toppings. In short - 5 stars of pleasure.

28/09/2025: It's been a while since I've eaten at Lucio's, but it's always a guarantee. I recommend the tasting menu: many different dishes, all carefully prepared with just the right portions to enjoy from start to finish. Very friendly service.

22/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in the Imperia province. The fish and all the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The best mixed seafood appetizer ever: you're then served 4-5 different seafood dishes (some with raw fish) that are a true sensory experience! The cuisine follows tradition (brandacujun, cappon magro, etc.) but with a touch of innovation and creativity. Excellent wine list.

26/09/2025: A wonderful surprise in the heart of Albenga. A restaurant offering traditional Ligurian and other dishes, overlooking Piazza Domenico Tricheri. A simple location with a large and welcoming outdoor terrace. You're immediately welcomed by Roberto, a courteous and friendly person who made the entire evening a memorable one. The digital menu offers appetizers, first courses, jacket potatoes, meats such as tagliata and tartare, burgers, salads, and desserts. For drinks, in addition to water, wine, and soft drinks, there are also local beers. Service is prompt and attentive. The food is excellent, very tasty, and has bold flavors. The jacket potatoes are absolutely delicious. The bill is perfect, and the prices are not at all high and very affordable. In conclusion, I highly recommend trying this restaurant and will definitely return as soon as I have the opportunity.

19/11/2025: We ordered a Florentine steak aged 20g and a rib-eye aged over 60g, both delicious. They were served on a hot griddle so the meat stayed warm. They were accompanied by a side of baked potatoes, also very tasty, and a bottle of excellent Nebbiolo. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and advised us on our selection. Excellent place, we'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: Evening with friends, a little disappointed with some of the dishes. The meat was definitely good quality, perhaps worth trying again on a more fortunate evening.

23/10/2025: Picturesque location let down by poor service. Visited for lunch and tried to explain to the elderly waiter (with the help of Google translate) that we do not speak Italian and we would do our best to communicate in Italian. From there the level of service plummeted. We ordered scampi and a pesto spaghetti dish. The later did not arrive with the former and eventually we asked about the missing meal. A few words were spoken between two waiters and 15 minutes later, the spaghetti dish eventually arrived with no apology or explanation. We had walked passed several other restaurants along the harbour front and chosen Elettra, in part, due to the linen table cloths expecting commensurate service levels. We were sadly mistaken and left with the feeling that the waiter did not want to serve tourists.
