28/04/2026: An excellent place to sample Ligurian cuisine and be delighted by its flavors and ingredients. The dishes I highly recommend are the gnocchi, the crostone with cod, and the stroscia with zabaglione ice cream. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the waiters are friendly and professional. I recommend booking, especially on weekends, as Dolce Acqua is a popular tourist destination for both Italians and French.

24/04/2026: A top-quality restaurant, from the attentive, kind yet discreet service (which isn't a given) to the quality of the dishes, everything done well (but well means WELL) as true chefs do, nothing improvised, no frills to hide questionable qualities, no over-the-top display to impress, only to enhance. I've tasted several courses, from starters to fish to dessert. We eat out often, and this has now become one of our favorite restaurants. Thanks to Fabri, Valeria, and their dining room staff. P.S. 27/02/2026: The dishes were good, well-presented, and the flavors were spot on. We enjoyed our meal; there were no complaints about the taste. The service was also very good: welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout the meal. However, the portions were really small. We were left a little hungry, which is a shame considering the price. €70 for two people for this quantity seems excessive for what was served. Furthermore, I should add that they charge for tap water and €3 per person for cutlery. Overall, a good experience, but the quality/quantity/price ratio could be improved.

18/04/2026: I almost never write a review, but this place deserves it. Simple, local and really delicious. We tried all four antipasti, one primo and three secondi and it was all honestly splendid. So were the panna cotta whith double the portion size you get in other places, the semifreddo and probably just all desserts. Great house wine. The atmosphere was great, with mostly locals and very nice staff and of course a beautiful view from the mountains to the sea. Amazing.

17/03/2026: A historic Sanremo restaurant in one of the city's most picturesque areas, the old port. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wide selection of fresh catches of the day complements excellent seafood dishes. A must-try for seafood lovers, and beyond. The dessert trolley is an irresistible temptation to round off a great meal.

08/03/2026: On Saturday, February 28th, the day of the Sanremo Music Festival finale, we decided to spend the evening there on the recommendation of a friend, booking well in advance! It was an excellent choice! Refined atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food! The bill surprised us. Five HUGE pasta dishes, two of which were fish, four desserts, five glasses of wine, and three bottles of water, totaling €170. For the quality of the food, it was worth every penny! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

28/02/2026: I've been wanting to try it for years and finally I did, excellent food, great quality and price, the tasting menu was a discovery... abundant dishes, attentive but never intrusive service... it feels like entering a ship from another era, elegant but not excessive... definitely worth returning to.

21/04/2026: Very good food, local dishes. We were delighted with the focaccia. The only downside is the extremely high noise level in the left part of the restaurant, where there are no white place settings.

21/04/2026: Every year I have to go back specifically for the focaccia and the pesto trofie. I watch the rest pass by, it looks and will be delicious, but since the 1970s, I've been going for the focaccia and the trofie.

You can taste the care and quality of the ingredients used, according to local tradition. ​Ombretta's welcome: An honorable mention goes to her, who was extremely courteous, attentive, and possessed of an overwhelming warmth that made you feel immediately at home. ​The Host's personality: The owner has a lively personality and a distinctive character. His sometimes friendly nature adds a touch of sincerity and folklore that makes the experience even more memorable and authentic. ​A must-see for those who love good food and authenticity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality meal in an environment that has made Genoa's culinary history.

01/05/2026: A hidden gem among Genoa's traffic police stations, this restaurant offers authentic yet sophisticated cuisine. High-quality ingredients are paired with creativity and expertise. We enjoyed the off-menu rossetti and the tuna carpaccio with purple shrimp for an appetizer. Chestnut and tuna casarecce and black chitarrine with octopus ragù. To finish, a surprising tiramisu with Ligurian focaccia. We didn't have time to take photos because the dishes were so inviting. We'll definitely be back. Well done!
