15/04/2026: We were greeted by the lovely owner. Everything was perfect, the homemade dishes were fresh and local. The pasta was incredible, we 100% recommend it for dinner in San Remo!

15/04/2026: The owner's welcome and service were extraordinary. We've never seen anything like it in Europe. The food was divine, and everything made our experience magical. It was absolutely the best restaurant choice. We were hesitating between small seaside restaurants, but this one was much more authentic. Thank you for this perfect evening thanks to your amazing restaurant. No exaggeration. Bravo!

The location in the center of Noli is truly beautiful... beyond the location, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious, carefully prepared food and, above all, the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. We'll definitely be back and I recommend it to everyone!

23/03/2026: While traveling along the Faiallo Pass, I stopped at Trattoria dello Scoiattolo. I couldn't have made a better choice! This small and delightful trattoria is located next to a small church. I waited a few minutes, but it was worth the wait. They offered a daily menu, and although there was a wide selection of first and second courses, I opted for the à la carte menu. The tagliolini with wild boar ragù was abundant and fabulous, the cima alla genovese was excellent, and the apple pie was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. After lunch, we relaxed briefly on a bench shaded by trees in the area in front of the little church. .

21/04/2026: Every year I have to go back specifically for the focaccia and the pesto trofie. I watch the rest pass by, it looks and will be delicious, but since the 1970s, I've been going for the focaccia and the trofie.

21/04/2026: Very good food, local dishes. We were delighted with the focaccia. The only downside is the extremely high noise level in the left part of the restaurant, where there are no white place settings.

27/02/2026: The dishes were good, well-presented, and the flavors were spot on. We enjoyed our meal; there were no complaints about the taste. The service was also very good: welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout the meal. However, the portions were really small. We were left a little hungry, which is a shame considering the price. €70 for two people for this quantity seems excessive for what was served. Furthermore, I should add that they charge for tap water and €3 per person for cutlery. Overall, a good experience, but the quality/quantity/price ratio could be improved.

28/02/2026: I've been wanting to try it for years and finally I did, excellent food, great quality and price, the tasting menu was a discovery... abundant dishes, attentive but never intrusive service... it feels like entering a ship from another era, elegant but not excessive... definitely worth returning to.

17/03/2026: A historic Sanremo restaurant in one of the city's most picturesque areas, the old port. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wide selection of fresh catches of the day complements excellent seafood dishes. A must-try for seafood lovers, and beyond. The dessert trolley is an irresistible temptation to round off a great meal.

08/03/2026: On Saturday, February 28th, the day of the Sanremo Music Festival finale, we decided to spend the evening there on the recommendation of a friend, booking well in advance! It was an excellent choice! Refined atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food! The bill surprised us. Five HUGE pasta dishes, two of which were fish, four desserts, five glasses of wine, and three bottles of water, totaling €170. For the quality of the food, it was worth every penny! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

It's a wonderful historic restaurant, which lets you experience the local spirit and tradition from the moment you step inside. ​What did I like most? ​The excellent traditional cuisine: the dishes are expertly prepared, with authentic flavors that captivate the palate. You can taste the care and quality of the ingredients used, according to local tradition. ​Ombretta's welcome: An honorable mention goes to her, who was extremely courteous, attentive, and possessed of an overwhelming warmth that made you feel immediately at home. ​The Host's personality: The owner has a lively personality and a distinctive character. His sometimes friendly nature adds a touch of sincerity and folklore that makes the experience even more memorable and authentic. ​A must-see for those who love good food and authenticity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality meal in an environment that has made Genoa's culinary history.

29/04/2026: The food was amazing. Pasta with truffles was so creamy and delicious. Pinsa was crunchy. And the staff was so friendly. Good music playlist. At the lunch time it can be a little bit crowded and noisy.

01/05/2026: A hidden gem among Genoa's traffic police stations, this restaurant offers authentic yet sophisticated cuisine. High-quality ingredients are paired with creativity and expertise. We enjoyed the off-menu rossetti and the tuna carpaccio with purple shrimp for an appetizer. Chestnut and tuna casarecce and black chitarrine with octopus ragù. To finish, a surprising tiramisu with Ligurian focaccia. We didn't have time to take photos because the dishes were so inviting. We'll definitely be back. Well done!
