30/12/2025: The sandwiches are very good and generally the pizza is too, it's a shame that the last time we went we were served a lukewarm one (perhaps the waiter took a few minutes too long before bringing it)
20/09/2025: The atmosphere is very refined, clean, and the staff are attentive. What can I say about the food? From fish to meat, you can't go wrong with the choice. As for the pizza, it's a winner.
We'll definitely be back...

12/09/2025: AMAZING PORCHETTA
Having arrived from the Montefiascone-Viterbo stop on the Via Francigena, I was hungry and craving a well-made porchetta sandwich. Wandering around the center, I stumbled upon this grocery store that seemed just the thing. My instincts were right.
I ate a sandwich first and then had a second because it was so good. The owner knows how to recommend the best. The combination of porchetta and sautéed chicory is sublime.
The owner was also kind enough to hold my backpack for a few hours.
I even bought the pork chops to take home as a souvenir!
RECOMMENDED!
Reasonably priced.
12/09/2025: I stumbled upon this island of flavors by chance, looking for a quick meal to conclude today's stage. I highly recommend it, treat it, and "pamper" it like the most regular customer. Top-quality products, kindness, and availability in large quantities. Highly recommended.

23/12/2025: A very nice restaurant with a lovely tavern atmosphere, but with more refined dishes.
It goes without saying that the meat is the star here, cooked very well and using premium cuts.
As an appetizer, we had a crostone (a slice of bread) split in two, which was quite good, although we expected it to be more flavorful. In any case, the crostone was excellently cooked and presented.
Then:
- mutton skewers, excellent, well-cooked and beautifully presented, excellent flavor and tender meat.
- fillet with porcini mushrooms, good, with tender meat, although the cooking made it slightly stringy.
Very kind, cheerful, fast, and never oppressive service: perfect!
A very, very interesting place, definitely worth trying.
16/12/2025: We ate at this osteria for the first time, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful in the historic center of Tarquinia, and the service is excellent, with professional and friendly staff. We ordered the cured meats and cheese platter: delicious!! Then we had two tagliata (sliced steaks): one with caramelized onion and pecorino, and another with rosemary. They were truly delicious and perfectly cooked. As a side, we had two sautéed chicory leaves. The house desserts were also excellent, including tiramisu and torta terra. The house red wine by the glass is highly recommended.
We'll definitely be back.

05/03/2026: It's our first time there and the attention of those standing outside is terrible.
01/03/2026: A place that's ruining the neighborhood forever. Music at ridiculous volumes, terrible crowds, the place stays open until 4 AM with drunks shouting in the street, no enforcement whatsoever. Last night at 4 AM, yet another brawl broke out between people coming and going, resulting in the windshield of a car parked in front of the place being smashed.

12/10/2025: We had lunch today with my family at this very rustic but beautiful restaurant.
The first and second courses were both meat-based, each better than the last.
It's a shame about the homemade desserts; among the options, only the panna cotta was homemade.
The organization and service could use some attention...
If you want to eat at this restaurant, be patient; the wait times are very long...

06/10/2025: The place definitely needs renovation, but the setting is beautiful. There's a lovely fireplace lit even in autumn and a beautiful chestnut grove to work off a good meal.
The food is simple and good. Not a lot of choices, but that's fine by me. The porcini mushroom and wild boar ragù are a highlight, an excellent first course. Then there's the grilled meat and side dishes. Plenty of parking inside, so reservations are recommended.

16/11/2025: We had dinner at this beautiful restaurant nestled in a stunning cave. Stunning location, the addition of the heaters was great because it's cool inside.
Quality food. The strozzapreti with chestnuts was delicious. The ribs were super good. The desserts were impeccable.
Fair prices for such a unique location.
Highly recommended!
