31/05/2026: Taste, location, and last but not least, the hospitality—everything is excellent at this Gambero Rosso-listed osteria, which combines traditional local flavors, the expertise of a chef who has certainly put a lot of effort into it, and the professionalism of the staff who share his vision. I highly recommend it to anyone looking not only for excellent food but also for those who appreciate the attention to detail that guests feel welcomed with professionalism (after seating us, they immediately asked us about any allergies or intolerances) and local warmth (they made sure our assigned table was to our liking) but without being intrusive (plenty of information, but at the right time), in a setting that I would describe as more Northern European. Well done, truly well done. And since you change the menu every three months, I don't think we'll miss a single one.

03/04/2026: We stayed one night and also booked dinner. The dinner was truly excellent; we had to ask not to bring a second course, so full we were... all very good and fresh ingredients! Breakfast was simple, with fresh fruit and homemade cakes. The only small flaw was the thin walls in the rooms, which unfortunately meant our neighbors were a bit noisy, but with a couple of earplugs, the situation was resolved perfectly. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

01/04/2026: While passing through Isola del Liri, my husband and I had dinner at this osteria. The entire staff provided a warm, family-like welcome. Mrs. Lorella, the chef, was very professional and helpful with her explanations of the dishes. The food was carefully prepared and the appetizers were superb. This is a must-see if you're in Isola del Liri. Highly recommended. Hugs and goodbye. ❤️

06/07/2026: I found it by chance, looking for a restaurant on a very short detour along the Naples-Civitavecchia road. It was a pleasant surprise; we're on the road, but the place is very cute. The traditional dishes are excellent and carefully prepared. I ate the best chicory in all of Lazio! They also have a nice selection of wines. I'll definitely be back.

10/06/2026: It's easy to fall in love with a timeless village, especially when the scent of lemons wafts from the door... the aroma comes from Fantasia del dolce, a little gem of a pastry shop where the owner pours all her passion into creating these delicious donuts. They're not krapfen, but soft, fragrant donut-shaped cookies... but there are so many others... spoiler alert... the chocolate and walnut ones are fantastic! Dear lady, we'll be happy to return...

31/05/2026: Something spectacular. You walk in and are intoxicated by an overwhelming aroma. I had lemon donuts; I'm not exaggerating when I say they were among the most delicious things I've ever tasted. She is incredibly kind and very approachable! Centrally located, just after the entrance to Fumone's historic center. I'll return again and again!

23/05/2026: The fried foods are excellent, and the pizza is really good. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. Prices are in line with average.

05/05/2026: The pizza at Matusa is truly delicious, one of the best in Frosinone. The place, though small, is new and very welcoming. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality. The only real drawback is parking, which is practically non-existent in the area, but for the pizza, it's worth the walk. Recommended.

08/07/2026: In all honesty, I think it would be very difficult to find another place that can combine such a characteristic atmosphere, excellent seasonal cuisine, attentive and empathetic service, and, finally, an unparalleled quality-price ratio. A truly positive experience, highly recommended.

24/05/2026: Very slow service—you even had to wait for the menu, even though the place wasn't terribly busy. We ordered a fillet and two tagliata, and the cuts of meat weren't the best we'd ever eaten. Regarding the setting, even though it's located in the center of Ferentino, the acoustics in the room didn't make for a pleasant experience. The prices were high for the quality and flavor of the food. Very disappointed.

25/07/2026: A truly exceptional experience! We dined at this osteria and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of every dish. We started with an appetizer... generous and delicious, prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. For our first courses, we ordered cacio e pepe, which my husband absolutely adored, fettuccine with ragù, so good our eight-year-old son finished it all, and spaghetti carbonara, equally excellent. I chose a Black Angus steak: simply exquisite. The quality of the meat and ingredients truly shines through in every bite. To finish, we enjoyed a tiramisu, also excellent. We were also offered coffee thanks to a fun scratch-off game organized by the restaurant: an original and fun idea that we greatly appreciated. Special praise also goes to the staff, whose kindness and courtesy are truly rare. We felt welcomed and pampered throughout the evening. Five stars are even too few to describe this experience. If we ever return to the area, this will definitely be a must-visit. Kudos to the entire staff and thank you for a wonderful evening!
