01/04/2026: While passing through Isola del Liri, my husband and I had dinner at this osteria. The entire staff provided a warm, family-like welcome. Mrs. Lorella, the chef, was very professional and helpful with her explanations of the dishes. The food was carefully prepared and the appetizers were superb. This is a must-see if you're in Isola del Liri. Highly recommended. Hugs and goodbye. ❤️

03/04/2026: We stayed one night and also booked dinner. The dinner was truly excellent; we had to ask not to bring a second course, so full we were... all very good and fresh ingredients! Breakfast was simple, with fresh fruit and homemade cakes. The only small flaw was the thin walls in the rooms, which unfortunately meant our neighbors were a bit noisy, but with a couple of earplugs, the situation was resolved perfectly. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

05/05/2026: The pizza at Matusa is truly delicious, one of the best in Frosinone. The place, though small, is new and very welcoming. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality. The only real drawback is parking, which is practically non-existent in the area, but for the pizza, it's worth the walk. Recommended.

24/05/2026: Very slow service—you even had to wait for the menu, even though the place wasn't terribly busy. We ordered a fillet and two tagliata, and the cuts of meat weren't the best we'd ever eaten. Regarding the setting, even though it's located in the center of Ferentino, the acoustics in the room didn't make for a pleasant experience. The prices were high for the quality and flavor of the food. Very disappointed.

The service is friendly, the atmosphere is quaint, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!

As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've stepped back in time: the restaurant is located inside a splendid medieval building, with stone rooms, frescoed ceilings, and meticulously detailed furnishings (the carved chairs and chivalric references are beautiful) that perfectly recreate the atmosphere of an ancient castle. But the real magic happens at the table. The cuisine is authentic, genuine, and made with love. We ate excellent dishes, prepared with the highest-quality ingredients that reflect Ciociaria tradition. The added value is undoubtedly the welcome. The owner delighted us by passionately telling us the history of the establishment and of dear Nonna Giuseppina, to whom the restaurant is dedicated. We felt not just like customers, but like family guests in a noble place. Highly recommended for those who love history, good wine, and food that smells of home. We will definitely be back!

11/05/2026: We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday for lunch. The experience was excellent, as evidenced by the score we gave. The most pleasant discovery was the Italian Wagyu, a meat of excellent quality and tenderness, much appreciated by all diners.
