04/03/2026: We stopped by chance and it was an excellent discovery... Fresh fish menu with sublime dishes... the appetizer is divine, as are the first courses! The girl in the dining room was knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and friendly! As was "Plinio" himself, who occasionally came to check on us to see if everything was to our liking... A friendly and very polite person... In short, we'll definitely be back as soon as we're in the area! Congratulations!!!

19/10/2025: A Sunday to forget!! A terrible experience for my wife and I. When we arrived at the restaurant, we immediately began eating the appetizer, which was paltry compared to the usual fare. Once we finished the appetizer, the endless wait for the first courses began. After more than an hour of waiting, we asked the staff for information, but received no concrete answers. The most absurd situation occurred when tables who arrived after us even arrived for dessert. Instead, we were still waiting for our first courses. The nightmare ended when we decided to leave. We paid for the two paltry appetizers (30 euros) and left.

01/04/2026: While passing through Isola del Liri, my husband and I had dinner at this osteria. The entire staff provided a warm, family-like welcome. Mrs. Lorella, the chef, was very professional and helpful with her explanations of the dishes. The food was carefully prepared and the appetizers were superb. This is a must-see if you're in Isola del Liri. Highly recommended. Hugs and goodbye. ❤️

20/04/2026: Excellent experience, both in the kitchen and the dining room: they are professional, and it's easy to see. The selection and attention to gluten-free cuisine are remarkable; it's definitely a very inclusive restaurant. Very close to Lake Posta Fibreno and other historic villages worth visiting, we'll definitely be back. Recommended!

19/04/2026: We had a great time, quality food prepared on the spot, excellent service and very attentive to the customer, there were two of us, we asked for information on the ingredients and they were given to us scrupulously, I recommend it, but not everyone is friendly and courteous, we will definitely return, top osteria!

03/04/2026: We stayed one night and also booked dinner. The dinner was truly excellent; we had to ask not to bring a second course, so full we were... all very good and fresh ingredients! Breakfast was simple, with fresh fruit and homemade cakes. The only small flaw was the thin walls in the rooms, which unfortunately meant our neighbors were a bit noisy, but with a couple of earplugs, the situation was resolved perfectly. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

01/12/2025: My recent visit was truly pleasant and satisfying. The pizza I ordered was perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. The fig pizza in particular was a true delight. Despite the place being crowded, the manager was very kind in finding me a table. The service was efficient and attentive, ensuring prompt and thorough assistance.

With just 25-30 seats, the atmosphere is intimate and meticulously curated: a homey atmosphere enhanced by refined table linens, a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. ​Each time, we're amazed by the dishes created with excellent ingredients, often local, but always of the finest quality. Pompeo's work is exceptional: he puts care, love, and a contagious charm into it. Honorable mention goes to the wine, always top-notch (after all, the "Cinese del Piglio" is a guarantee of absolute quality). ​It's a unique place where you can experience the convivial atmosphere of an osteria, but dine with the sophistication of a Michelin-starred restaurant... all at trattoria prices. The journey here is amply rewarded by a culinary experience that's different every time. A true gem.
