01/04/2026: While passing through Isola del Liri, my husband and I had dinner at this osteria. The entire staff provided a warm, family-like welcome. Mrs. Lorella, the chef, was very professional and helpful with her explanations of the dishes. The food was carefully prepared and the appetizers were superb. This is a must-see if you're in Isola del Liri. Highly recommended. Hugs and goodbye. ❤️

25/07/2026: We came in without expectations for a quick lunch. We found a very welcoming atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. The seafood appetizer and first courses were truly delicious (potato, salmon, and scamorza croquettes, spaghetti with clams, and homemade seafood gnocchi). The dishes were generous and well-prepared. There was no wait. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

07/05/2026: Don Antò is a restaurant with a truly spectacular location: being just steps from the waterfall creates a unique, evocative atmosphere that's hard to replicate elsewhere. This alone would be enough to make the evening enjoyable.
Among the most successful aspects are certainly the fried foods, well-prepared, dry, and tasty: the highlight of the dining experience. The vegetarian selection, however, is less convincing, rather limited and uninspired. Even the dishes we ordered, while adequate, didn't leave a memorable impression.
One disappointing note is the presentation of the cocktails, served in unsuitable glasses that don't live up to the setting and price: a detail that impacts the overall experience more than one might think.
Overall, Don Antò remains a pleasant restaurant, especially for its exceptional location, but this alone can't fully compensate for the shortcomings in the cuisine and attention to detail.

19/09/2025: An excellent experience at Ristorante Milù! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, the staff is incredibly kind and always smiling, attentive to every detail.
The food is truly extraordinary: carefully presented and flavorful dishes, made with the freshest ingredients. The fish in particular is of the highest quality and cooked to perfection. Generous portions and a varied menu cater to every palate.
The value for money is also excellent: you eat deliciously and leave completely satisfied.
A restaurant that's definitely worth a try and one I recommend without hesitation. I'll definitely be back!

04/07/2026: I went to the café for breakfast this morning. Besides the very long wait, I noticed a few things I didn't like.
I went in to see the counter to choose a croissant, and I must say I was fascinated by the presentation. I decided to have a cream croissant and a cappuccino. When I placed my order, I also asked for a glass of water, and I got a look that indicated that water is served regularly and that my request was pointless. About 20 minutes later, I received my drink. Needless to say, the glass of water wasn't there, but the thing that left me most disappointed was the presentation of the croissant: dry, without powdered sugar on top (not like the ones in the display case), and even with the wrong cream, as it was lemon cream. Unfortunately, I couldn't complain about the wrong cream flavor because, given the shortage, I tasted it when the croissant was almost finished. Needless to say, I think the croissant wasn't from today but from yesterday. I'm disappointed and won't be returning.

23/07/2026: I discovered this place in Isola del Liri by chance. Delicious, soft, and fragrant gluten-free pizza. Wide selection with a dedicated gluten-free menu. Friendly and fast service. I don't have photos of the pizza because I devoured it. Highly recommended!

I'm updating my review, unfortunately negative.
Over a year ago, I gave it 5 stars because I had a truly excellent experience: excellent pizza, quality ingredients, a refined atmosphere, and top-notch service. For this reason, in the last two weeks, I've been back twice with great pleasure, confident that I'd rediscovered the place I remembered.
The first night, the wait was very long, the staff seemed unprepared and at times even rude. My pizza arrived cold. It was good, but a pizza served cold inevitably loses much of its quality. I thought it might have just been a bad night, which can happen to any business.
That's why last night I decided to give the place a second chance. Unfortunately, things got even worse.
We sat down at 8:34 PM, and at 10:02 PM, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. When we pointed out that we'd been waiting for over an hour and a half, we were told that they were serving in order of reservations. After a further wait, my brother-in-law got up to ask how much longer it was, and, pointing out that over two hours had passed, one waiter responded with an almost annoyed "Eh, two hours...", while another assured us that the pizzas were on their way.
They arrived shortly afterward. Unfortunately, they were cold again, and, worse still, my nephew's pizza was completely burned.
A pizza costing 15 euros or more simply cannot be served in that condition, much less after a wait of over two hours.
What I find most disappointing is the comparison with my memory of this place. I'm not writing this review after a single negative experience, but after giving it a second chance, hoping the first was just an isolated incident.
Unfortunately, today I found none of the quality and attention to detail that made me fall in love with this place. And that's truly a shame.
