The menu cleverly plays with playful names and original pairings, offering a truly dynamic experience. The appetizers alone are an exciting journey, surprising you with their creativity and balanced flavors. Among the first courses, the "Salto della quaglia" rice deserves applause: an exceptional execution in terms of balance and creaminess. The meat selection is excellent, with the lamb expertly cooked, tender, and perfectly showcased. A special mention goes to the desserts, truly fantastic: a perfect finish, original in presentation, and impeccable in flavor. To round it all off, a solid wine selection and a young, cheerful, and consistently precise service. A modern osteria with clear ideas and plenty of substance. An absolute must-see for anyone passing through San Donato!

Yesterday we went to Osteria FicaNaso with our family (six adults and a two-year-old) and were truly thrilled. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us with old-fashioned kindness and courtesy, proving incredibly thoughtful and sweet, even with my little girl. He assigned us the perfect table, allowing us to enjoy lunch in complete comfort. The culinary offering was a true journey: The Appetizers: All excellent. I tried the trout and ceviche, both exceptional, but all the other appetizers shared at the table were also truly delicious. The First Courses: An honorable mention goes to the quail risotto, recommended to my father, who polished it off and was delighted with his choice! The Menu and the Wine Cellar: Kudos to the ingenious names of the dishes, full of movie references and funny jokes that bring a smile to your face. The wine selection is excellent and carefully curated (we opted for a truly excellent rosé). Desserts: Meticulous presentation and excellent quality. I tried the Tiramisushi, a fun and delicious idea! The only small "technical" issue is the plating: eating it with chopsticks is quite a challenge because you risk breaking them, but the flavor is flawless! The dishes are beautifully presented, carefully arranged and beautifully colored. What stands out most, however, is the substance: behind it all is a clear culinary concept, the owners' strong personalities, and a chef with a deep knowledge of ingredients, products, and flavor balances. The quality-price ratio is excellent, both for the food and the wine list. A well-deserved five stars. Many compliments to these guys for their project and the passion they put into it: we'll definitely be back!

If you want a relaxing experience with good food, you have to try this wonderful place at least once. Today we spent carefree hours, smiling with the staff and enjoying refined dishes, the perfect combination for an unforgettable Sunday. The appetizers stunned us with their creativity, elegance, and explosive flavor, but my risotto will live in my memory for a long time. Very cute desserts, with funny names! I tried (and was really forced to pronounce it out loud) "You want those kiwis 🙃🫣😂"...it wasn't easy after my beloved Guinness, but I did it.
