06/07/2026: I found it by chance, looking for a restaurant on a very short detour along the Naples-Civitavecchia road. It was a pleasant surprise; we're on the road, but the place is very cute. The traditional dishes are excellent and carefully prepared. I ate the best chicory in all of Lazio! They also have a nice selection of wines. I'll definitely be back.

The carbonara with crispy pancetta was delicious...
The sliced meat was tasty but a little tough, which was a shame.
The tiramisu was delicious, but a little... not enough!
And for the price, I have to say it's in line with the price...
The coffee was good!

17/02/2026: I spent the month of November 2025 at this wonderful little Hotel and Restaurant while on a work assignment in the area. It was one of the most comfortable accommodations I have ever experienced in any hotel. To keep that statement in perspective, let me just state that I travel for work six to eight months of the year. The staff and service was wonderful and made me feel very much at home, even overlooking and gently correcting cultural faux pas on my part. This villa is off the beaten path, yet the gourmet restaurant on the main floor is full most evenings due to the fact that the food is exquisite and the food service is quick and efficient. Their wine is quite good, too, being of a local variety, and I purchased a bottle to take home. Every member of staff is very helpful and personable, and they treated me like family during my longish stay. I would very much like to return someday, and I can very much recommend this hotel in its uncrowded, rural setting away from the crowds of Rome for people who are touring Italy. There is easy access just off the Autostrada, and plenty of parking.

05/05/2026: A wonderful experience immersed in the country world. The place is country-style, with both the interior and exterior themed around the same theme. Decorated wood reigns supreme, with American-style designs and music. There are several rooms, some very beautiful, others more simple. Outside, there are various memorabilia such as wagons and boots, and period furniture. There is plenty of parking and services inside. Outside, there is a cage with real birds. Everything is designed to be a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back. The food is good, the service is quite quick. The only downside is the lack of table service, but that wasn't a problem, it's easy to get by.
05/05/2026: It's an experience you should try, especially with friends! The pizzas are so varied, each one better than the last! I highly recommend this home-cooked experience, which also includes contact with the animals.

21/06/2026: Today we went to this restaurant for the first time for lunch, the fish menu. The portions were generous and excellent. The quality/price ratio was better than much more renowned establishments. I'll definitely be back to try the meat menu. The crumble was fantastic. The place was spacious and not too crowded.

Ristorante Pizzeria Officina XL - Birra e Cucina

09/05/2026: A terrible experience from every perspective. The menu offered a 220-gram Fassona burger with a side of potatoes for €15. What arrived at the table was a simple burger, not even particularly large, with very few potatoes. Certainly nothing that matched the description and the sales pitch.
When I complained, they replied that "the burger shrinks during cooking," a truly embarrassing excuse. As a solution, they added a few more potatoes, but the burger was still the same. When they brought it back to me, it was clearly the same as before, simply reheated, hot but burnt and even drier, without even bothering to prepare a new one properly. In fact, even the burnt one was returned without anything else being delivered.
In the end, I basically only ate a few potatoes. They applied a €20 discount on the €600 total bill, and we were offered some sweets, but that's not how you "buy" a customer. Errors are resolved with sincerity, professionalism, and care toward those paying for a service that should live up to its promise.
Poor quality, terrible service, and truly disappointing error handling. Absolutely not recommended.
