27/11/2025: I've been buying from La Car for years, many years, there wasn't a store in Patrica yet. Sausages, porchetta, etc. Last time I bought lard, well, on bruschetta it's delicious.

15/04/2026: The restaurant is truly charming, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. We went with friends and had a wonderful time enjoying good food and great company. The dishes were tasty and well-prepared, with authentic flavors that evoke tradition. The staff was friendly and helpful.

02/04/2026: Excellent lunch. Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and melt-in-your-mouth pork shank. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: The breakfast advertised as "Italian breakfast" was shameful. I'll list a few things that should have been included: croissants, fresh fruit, some homemade cakes or pastries (not packaged), fruit juice (at least two flavors), cappuccino, bread (not Pancarrè), and some local cold cuts and cheeses. After trying that cappuccino and the dry (old) biscuits, I went out for breakfast at Mary's and returned the second day because when I woke up, there was no one in the building, so I went back for breakfast at Mary's, which I also recommend to the managers. Otherwise, the owner is very good at making guests feel comfortable, and the building has a beautiful garden. The rooms weren't very clean, and among other things, they didn't give me the one I booked but a much smaller one—usually it's the other way around! So I don't feel like recommending it.

07/12/2025: Company dinner: The appetizer and first course were good, but unfortunately the second course had some imperfections, such as the meat, although good, arriving almost cold and the baked potatoes in the side dish were half cooked, resulting almost raw even if nicely colored. The service was very good, the place was nice and welcoming, the waiting staff very kind and helpful.

12/05/2026: We found this place by chance, one evening we happened to be passing through Frosinone. Let's start by saying that when we walked in, only one table out of at least 50 was occupied, and that alone got us thinking. The place is a bit retro, but I don't think that's the problem. We come from a seaside town (Naples) where good fish and the catch of the day (the real thing) are the order of the day. The manager, since we wanted typical Ciociaria dishes, steered us towards fish...which apparently is their specialty. The appetizers were absolutely tasteless, the fried calamari probably frozen, even though the owner claims it's all fresh...but the fresh calamari smells, not odorless!!! Other appetizers we ordered were nothing special...maybe we're used to it. The best part comes when the head waiter offers us a farmed sea bass (NB: farmed sea bass, for those who don't know, costs between €15 and €20 per kg, no more, and just double that of wild-caught sea bass) to add to a mixed grill menu priced at €20. Well, the infamous sea bass arrives, which they have cleaned at the table cold, and even though it's tender, cold fish is a crime. Afterwards, we order dessert. The moral of the story: the famous 1.2kg sea bass cost €110, leaving a total bill of €200. For those of us who live off the sea, these prices are for other fish/shellfish, not for a farmed sea bass. Furthermore, the lack of correctness in listing the price per kilo, which was deliberately omitted. And now I understand why the restaurant was empty!!! Clarity and honesty always pay!

07/05/2026: A truly pleasant experience at Villa del Poggio. A refined location, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive, professional service. The dishes are beautifully presented, prepared with quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Excellent value, too. An ideal place for both a quiet dinner and special occasions. Definitely recommended and worth returning to. A special thanks to the owner, who is extremely kind and always available.

26/10/2025: Sometimes I stopped for a coffee, a drink, a break, but I don't like the service, at least when I happened to be there, coincidence....I don't know
