12/12/2025: We were in Rome, coming from Avellino with our two dogs, and intrigued by foodish, we wanted to try this place. We can confirm that everything was delicious, including the supplì and pangoccioli. The beer was also excellent. The hard work comes now: maintaining this level of excellence.

02/12/2025: The food was very good, the service excellent, and the prices were reasonable! If you're visiting the Colosseum, it's worth walking a little further to get to this great place!

02/12/2025: The restaurant is in a great location near the Colosseum. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The ravioli with pistachios and crispy bacon were delicious, and the tiramisu was also very popular. Recommended.

23/11/2025: The tasting menu started fabulous with a mashed potatoes truffle bite. Every dish after that got worse and worse. We didn't finish the main, the cheese, or our desserts they were so bad. It felt like the chef (if they even had any training?) wasn't even trying to make cohesive dishes with flavor, texture, or temperature in mind (steak with a milky sauce and cold tamatoes? Tiramisu with whipped cream instead of marsapone?) Even the wait staff didn't seem surprised we didn't finish our dishes. We were highly disappointed in our experience. The wine was good, surprisingly. Seems like a fancy tourist trap for travestere. Would not recommend to anyone for a true fine dining experience.

06/12/2025: We stayed at the Arco del Lauro B&B and had breakfast at the Terra Satis bar. It was a real treat, both the accommodation and the breakfast. The service was wonderful and they made us feel right at home. One of our guests was celiac and they were very well taken care of, which was much appreciated. Thank you so much for everything, and we would definitely return.

25/11/2025: I stumbled upon California Cookhouse by chance during an afternoon stroll downtown and couldn't help but stop in. The place is welcoming, with modern decor and a bar area where the aroma of grilled meat fills the air as soon as you enter. The real star is the burger. The meat, pressed to perfection, forms a crispy and flavorful crust, while the center remains soft and succulent. I tried the Deluxe Burger, a classic version with cheddar cheese, bacon, caramelized onion, fresh lettuce, and their secret sauce, a perfect balance of flavor and spiciness. The fries are an irresistible side. The service is fast and friendly; In short, California Cookhouse is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy a quality burger in a casual yet refined atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try the other options on the menu!

09/11/2025: A fantastic experience. This small but cozy restaurant offers excellent traditional Roman dishes. The owner is exceptional, and the service is impeccable, with polite and professional waiters. The dishes are generous and reasonably priced. We ate a bit of everything, including the fantastic carbonara and rigatoni alla pajata, a specialty. Homemade desserts, and a truly excellent tiramisu! I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: About 2-3 years after I became vegetarian, my father surprised me by taking me to this wonderful restaurant. For the first time in years, I found myself able to choose what to eat on a restaurant menu, rather than being forced to choose the only vegetarian option as is often the case. And not only did I have a choice, but I'd say it was more than just a meal; it was an incredible culinary experience. The quality of the dishes is astonishing, and the warm service and atmosphere only add to this picture of perfection. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

07/12/2025: This is a vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant along Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II just across from Basilica di Sant'Andrea della Valle. They have a fair-sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. Opening hours are 9am to 11pm (weekends) and 10am to 11pm (weekdays). Menu features a range of salads, pastas and other Italian dishes prepared suitable for those seeking plant-based dining options around the city. We had lunch here during a recent visit to Rome and found our meal to be pretty good. Impossible Meat based meatballs had really good texture, tasted nice. Cacio e pepe pasta was decent, pasta was perfect, the vegan cheese was fine, serving needed much more pepper though. The Asian style Buddha Bowl was a nice serving of fresh veg. Enjoyed this dish the most of the three. Service friendly, prices reasonable for veggie and vegan dining. Would be happy to eat here again when seeking healthy, plant-based dining around Rome.

10/12/2025: There are several bridges crossing the Tiber River at Isola Tiberina including Ponte Cestio which links Trestevere to the island. This was historically a stone bridge dating back to around 46 BC. However, what you see today was reconstructed between 1888-92. What you find today is a three-arched stone bridge used by vehicles and pedestrians. that is picturesque and makes for a pleasant way access to to the island and way to visit Trastevere from the Regola District across the river.
