26/06/2025: !!!! THERE IS ALWAYS A SOLUTION!!! Unlike what I wrote some time ago, I can correct my review and although there were some misunderstandings, the pool staff, the professionalism and kindness of the owner, the reception (Cinzia in particular) and the pool manager Pamela in solving certain problems, I can say with certainty that I was pleasantly satisfied and thank everyone for their commitment.

17/06/2025: Episode of rain and storm, the staff immediately secured us and made us leave the pool. We paid the entrance fee shortly before and we were given a coupon for a new entrance already paid. Professionalism guaranteed.

17/07/2025: So my wife and I literally stumbled into this wonderful restaurant. It was a long day, and we just need a bit of food. Wow, what an unbelievable surprise. It’s a single room which is simple and charming. The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly. The food, well let’s just say perfect is the perfect word. I had the pasta with pancetta and my wife had the flank steak. You won’t go wrong with anything on this menu.

17/07/2025: We loved this place! It was not in a super touristy location, and the restaurant felt very family owned. Service was fantastic! We had the Carbonara and Amatriciana and both were delicious. It was exactly what we were looking for, traditional Roman dishes. We would definitely return there!

15/07/2025: A couple of kilometers above Guarcino on the road to Campo Catino, this restaurant is located in a scenic spot. It offers free parking and plenty of seating, so much so that it's often used as a restaurant for special occasions. In the summer, you can eat outside, but the view isn't particularly beautiful. Inside, however, there's a large dining room with a balcony offering a sweeping view of the surrounding villages, which must be particularly captivating at night with the town lights on. The cuisine, which is mostly local, is good, but the prices are slightly higher than average, perhaps because of the location. For that reason alone, it's worth trying at least once. They also serve pizza in the evening. The clientele is mostly local, with pros and cons that everyone can find. Overall, highly recommended.

26/06/2025: “At least you enjoyed a beautiful day on the lake”: these were more or less the words of the head waiter when they made us wait two and a half hours for lunch. I can understand that maybe they had some difficulties in the kitchen (or maybe not because in the meantime the other tables were being served, we were both among the first to arrive and among the last to leave), but my ideal of a beautiful day on the lake is not to spend two and a half hours sitting at a table waiting to eat while suffering from the heat. Not even a half excuse, nothing to justify herself, just this sentence (I hope the intentions are not arrogant, but it sounded that way to us). The dishes did not even live up to expectations. Never again.

25/06/2025: Quality combined with love for attention to detail generates a mix of excellent flavors in a heavenly atmosphere that involves guests and workers. Spending a day at Caletta makes you rejuvenate, try it to believe it. ❤️

21/06/2025: Typical Ariccia tavern, six of us went for lunch and we tried 6 different first courses. What can I say? Borghese is right: it's the best cacio e pepe! All the other dishes are equally good, amatriciana, carbonara, gricia, paiata... A homely and warm service. A truly pleasant lunch, we spent very little. Go there!!

30/06/2025: Really disappointing experience. We waited 45 minutes for the order and then discovered that several products were missing. We waited another 15 minutes to receive them. The portions are tiny, the salad was without dressing or cutlery. The place was dirty, the garbage cans full, impossible to throw anything away. We were forced to leave everything on the table. The bathroom was in terrible condition. Not recommended.

02/06/2025: I had already eaten there once and I was not very satisfied ... then recently Alberto invited me to return. Never been so happy to give a second chance, from appetizers to burgers and fried foods, I found everything much improved in quality. I will return soon !!!

01/06/2025: Excellent ludopub, recommended for an evening with friends. I really appreciated the owner who remained composed and kind despite my criticism on how the orders were handled at the cash register. I only suggest giving the possibility to pay immediately in the presence of large tables to avoid misunderstandings.

07/07/2025: truly positive experience. we were there on saturday night, two of us without a reservation but they found us a place right away. we are both southerners, often in rome they praise authentic southern food but then when you eat you realize that not everything always goes as it should. not here, I really couldn't find anything that made me turn up my nose either in my food or in my wife's. the guy who I think is the head waiter knows how to suggest but is not insistent. the owners are a very kind and friendly couple, they know how to put you at ease. pizzas and focaccias seem good, I saw many of them pass by, but we preferred classic dishes. the menu explores a bit of all of puglia from north to south, good selection of wines and beers including craft beers from puglia. the cost is absolutely honest, considering that anyway (like everywhere) a lot is made up by drinks. I promised that we will return in less prohibitive temperatures because despite everything when during the day it is 38 degrees the stomach cannot swallow much more. promoted with full marks!

06/07/2025: Very nice restaurant-pizzeria with tables outside in a car-free area. Modern and well-kept environment with good spaces between the tables. It is not the first time that we eat at Casa Maggio and it has always lived up to expectations both with the cuisine (Pugliese) and with the pizzeria. Attentive and fast service. A special mention for Ludovica, always very attentive to the table, who looked after us for dinner and was able to communicate to us with kindness and sympathy that several dishes we had ordered were out of stock. Not cheap but a price adequate for the quality of the raw materials and the care in the creation of the dishes.

06/07/2025: I just had lunch here with my wife and our dog (accepted). I kindly asked for a bowl of water for our dog and the blonde waitress showed up with an empty plastic container, leaving it in my hand and making me understand that I would have to make do with the water myself. The blonde waitress, after having made a mistake with the requested wine, then showed up with the correct one, served the glass not suitable for standard measures, pouring less. Nice place. Good food. Average price.
