Fantastic final meal before heading to the airport. Anya and her lovely coworker (didn't grab her name) were so kind and friendly. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Great portions and fresh produce. We loved our meal!

Our last night in Rome, and someone suggested seafood, so we found this nearby place along the Fiumicino waterfront.
FOOD & DRINK - Primarily seafood, and those in the group who liked seafood all enjoyed it. Those who did not had a choice of "Roman" dishes (cacio e pepe, carbonara, and a couple of other variations on the same theme), which also worked well.
There was an extensive bar menu. People generally liked what they got, though some of the proportions seemed a little off (my caipirinha was very cachaca-forward, the Moscow Mule not very gingery, etc.).
SERVICE - We have a lovely waitress who took good care of us, and made it a pleasant meal.
AMBIANCE - Like every other restaurant on either side of it, the bistrot has a large enclosed front patio where most folk sit, watching the canal edge and enjoying the breeze. The breeze was a bit much for us, so we ended up eating inside, which space was a bit more cramped, but still comfortable and pleasant.
NET-NET - There are dozens of places in the area to eat. This one certainly has my recommendation.

We discovered this little place in Fiumicino by chance, having opened a few months ago.
Spaghetti with lupini beans, mixed fried fish, and a delicious fish and chocolate cheesecake.
We waited a bit because a large table had ordered before us, and the super-kind owner offered us a mini fried anchovy dish with homemade sauces.
Highly recommended for a quiet seafood dinner on the waterfront. We'll definitely be back!

We had a mix of appetizers, and one of the first courses, one of which we sent back because the olives tasted too bitter.
When we mentioned this to the waitress, she went to the kitchen and came back saying that the flavor was actually due to the olives being too bitter. Next, we ordered a wine that was listed as Vermentino di Sardegna on the menu, but in reality the label said Vermentino Toscano. When the wine was changed, our glasses weren't changed, and when the cutlery was changed, instead of being given to each of us, they were wrapped in paper napkins in the center of the table... all this to say that I don't know why we were charged the €1.50 service charge per person. Finally, when the bill arrived, the dish was returned untouched, but we were still charged for it.
We mentioned this to the girl who sent us the owner, who apologized because if she had known beforehand, she would have refunded it... she offered us a bitter...
Moral of the story: appetizer, first course, and second course average €70 per person. I definitely wouldn't go back.

Frankly, I don't understand the negative comments. I went there with my family on a Sunday in April and we had a wonderful time. The fried food deserves an A+—especially the light color of the fried food, which revealed the clean oil. The bruschetta, avocado, and anchovy appetizer was amazing. I asked if they had true clams, and they said no, with great honesty. I appreciated it and we enjoyed the mixed fried food—the coppo—fried anchovies, fried calamari, fried cod, and papatine—all top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

We had lunch at this bistro with the family.
Wow, what a spectacular surprise to eat so well.
Extremely high-quality ingredients.
Original dishes with contrasts that were absolutely unexpected and fun on the palate.
Every dish thrilled us.
We met chef Fabrizio Cimmino, who was truly knowledgeable, humble, and competent.
I highly recommend eating at this bistro.

Such a fantastic find that we ate dinner two nights while in the area. The managers and the wait staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We ordered Octopus ragu, Pasta with clams, Pinsa, fried olives and Suppli, all of it truly amazing. Love you all!

The food was absolutely amazing - every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What truly made the experience special was the incredible staff: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They created such a warm atmosphere that made us feel completely comfortable and taken care of. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

The aperitivo is fantastic, and for €15 you can enjoy a great cocktail and a fantastic fried fish dish! I plan to try everything else soon!
