06/06/2025: Prenotazione con parecchi giorni di anticipo per 3 persone: io, il mio compagno e un’amica. Entriamo e nessuno ci accoglie, restiamo in piedi fermi sulla porta ad attendere e ad un nostro cenno ci dicono che sarebbero arrivati per farci accomodare ma passa più di qualche minuto. Quando finalmente ci indicano dove accomodarci notiamo che i tavoli tra di loro sono molto vicini e sedersi non è stato facile in quanto lo spazio di movimento era veramente ridotto. Restiamo in attesa altri 25/30 minuti e nessuno ci porta il menù, la mia amica decide di alzarsi e chiedere almeno un po' di acqua. Dopo questo inizio sinceramente avremmo voluto andare via ma ormai si era fatto tardi. Finalmente ordiniamo. Il menù non è molto ampio e alcune pietanze erano terminate. Il mio compagno si è dovuto adattare perché quello che avrebbe voluto mangiare era appunto terminato. Arrivano due primi piatti su tre ordinati ma quello del mio compagno uno era sbagliato. Ovviamente lo portano indietro. Dopo un po' di tempo ne portano un altro e dopo ancora finalmente l’ultimo primo piatto, quello sbagliato inizialmente. Come se non bastasse mangiare in tre in tempi diversi, la pasta dell’ultimo piatto portato a tavola, era cruda. Onestamente ho perso la pazienza e ho riportato il piatto lamentandomi di tutto quello che era successo, quasi praticamente in cucina, visto che in sala il personale è sempre stato quasi completamente assente. Si sono offerti di cucinare altro ma ormai era veramente troppo tardi e avevamo un appuntamento da rispettare. Conclusione: il mio compagno non ha mangiato, io e la mia amica abbiamo mangiato in tempi diversi, tanta attesa e una bella arrabbiatura. Non sono solita lasciare recensioni negative ma non ho visto un minimo sforzo da parte del personale a recuperare in maniera concreta e adeguata a tutti gli errori commessi. Ci è stata tolto dal conto il primo rimandato indietro ovviamente ma non ci è stato fatto 1 € di sconto, anzi, il coperto è stato calcolato per tre persone, anche per il mio compagno rimasto a digiuno.

01/08/2025: Very friendly staff, a variety of Tuscan dishes, both meat and fish. Dinner, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, with my wife. We had potato ravioli stuffed with pecorino cheese and a delicious meat sauce, and for our second course, Livorno-style tuna. Dessert. A glass of "Le Pestempello" wine. Water. Coffee. Total €80. Everything was perfect...except the chairs.

18/08/2025: A lovely little spot for an aperitivo or a bite to eat. Excellent cuisine with consistently high-quality flavors. The menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, including stuffed pizza slices, cured meats, and savory croissants. It's hard to stay under €20 on the final bill.

28/08/2025: I gave one star for the atmosphere because the boss was walking around the room and was very aggressive. Both with the customers and the employees. The food is very good, the waiters are very kind and helpful, but the boss's attitude leaves something to be desired. I can't wait to leave. Too bad! It creates a stressful atmosphere.

26/08/2025: We went to Butteri with my father-in-law, who was a butcher for many years, so he pays close attention to the quality of the meat. I must say the experience was truly excellent. The atmosphere is warm, thanks in part to Lamberto, who made us feel right at home. The service, provided by Marco, was fast, courteous, and always super attentive. 5 stars are not enough!

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

23/06/2025: A great place to go. Good Roman food (and don’t miss the schiaffoni), a very nice and lively square in Frascati. A good spot to go back and back.

26/05/2025: Super cute place, with a really super location! Really good aperitifs and sophisticated cocktails. If you take a walk on the seafront, I highly recommend stopping by!

08/09/2025: The carbonara pasta with guanchale was delicious. The food was truly spectacular. What I didn't understand was the bill, which said: service = €6 I mean, they charged me a €6 tip. I didn't like that part because tipping is voluntary, but they add the amount. I ordered a glass of wine, pasta, and a classic tip for €30. 💶

19/08/2025: Our hotel was close to this bar and we took the opportunity to buy cappuccinos which were very good and to taste their foccatia, nothing to regret. Honestly, we had to pay more and not as good in other areas of Rome. The waiters spoke a little English and that helped us to be able to communicate because we speak zero Italian 😅 I just noticed that the waitress of the afternoon service was less friendly...maybe my impression or she does not feel comfortable with foreigners...

02/07/2025: I’ve been coming to this place for a while now, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are surprisingly good for the quality you get. This morning, I stopped by for a cappuccino and croissants everything was perfect. The people here are so sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s such a cozy, feel-good spot, definitely one of my favorites!

27/07/2025: I went with my family for lunch and we had a great time, to say the least. The place was very quiet and the food was fantastic. My daughter is celiac, and the staff was very careful about cross-contamination, even having a completely gluten-free menu. The food and price exceeded our expectations. Congratulations, guys!

09/07/2025: Che dire ,partiamo dall'unica nota dolente, il parcheggio, non c'è,ma potete tranquillamente parcheggiare al centro di Frascati e fare una passeggiata a piedi, altrimenti,subito dopo trovate una stradina sulla destra, in salita ,e se siete fortunati,un buco per la macchina lo trovate..... Il ristorante è a conduzione famigliare, lo chef si chiama Gabriele, e all'interno troverete anche il papà, la mamma e dei dipendenti, se c'è poca gente chiedetegli se è possibile visitare ciò che c'è sotto........... resterete a bocca aperta. Ma torniamo a parlare del cibo, ora ci interessa quello hahaha... Non è la prima volta che ci ceno, di conseguenza ho mangiato un po' di tutto, dalla pinsa, mai mangiata così buona, a diversi primi piatti fatto con pasta fresca e diversi secondi, senza tralasciare i loro vassoi di affettati e salumi, diciamo che negli anni non mi sono fatto mancare nulla...... approposito,i dolci, i dolci sono superlativi

25/08/2025: Excellent!!! A charming place in the main square. We were greeted with a smile and had a wonderful meal: the first courses (cannelloni and carbonara with truffle) were excellent, as were the second courses (fried perch fillets and tagliata, a type of butter). The price was reasonable!! We'll definitely be back!!!

18/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, everything was good and the staff and owner were kind and friendly. I recommend it.
