I ate at this restaurant on April 10 and 11, 2026. The food was excellent, homemade, and generous. The staff was kind and courteous, and Rufino, the owner, was very friendly. He made his customers feel at home.

We've known this wonderful trattoria for many years, and it's in a beautiful location! We always love coming back: the food is delicious, fresh and authentic, traditional and local (especially the lake fish and homemade pasta, but also other options, like meat, cured meats, cheeses, and seasonal vegetables). The bread and desserts are excellent; the service is excellent, as the owner Rufino and his staff are always so kind! 😋💪🏻💚

In Trevignano, wherever you end up, you eat well and here too you eat very well, exquisite dishes, friendly staff and the owner is uniquely friendly.

We decided to try it based on the photos, and we were very pleased! The Roman dishes were inviting, but the daily specials were even more so. Everything was truly delicious. The staff was kind, welcoming, and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the osteria!

Easter Monday lunch with my partner, perfect welcome and 10-star food. When they asked me how lunch was, I replied... and I quote: "Give the cook a kiss because I've never eaten so well." Well done, congratulations indeed.

I feel like giving it the maximum number of stars because not only did we eat deliciously, but they were incredibly kind. Simple dishes made with top-quality products. And in the end, the bill was just €70 for two. What can I say? We'll definitely be back.

23/05/2026: Coming back here after thirty years is quite an experience. Many things have changed over time, but the essence remains the same: the traditional dishes are still impeccable. The atmosphere is rustic and informal, which we like, although there is one small flaw: the door is always left open, allowing a bit of drafts to circulate, and, honestly, eating with the smell of smoke coming in from those outside is a bit annoying. The food, however, remains excellent, and the ricotta and sour cherry tart was the undisputed star of the table. A final note on the bill: fair prices for everything except the rabbit. €18 for the portion you see in the photo seemed perhaps a bit excessive. Definitely worth trying.
12/05/2026: Small, traditional restaurant. The menu is modest but very satisfying. Reservations are essential due to limited seating.

07/05/2026: I'm still thinking about how wonderful the food and service were. The atmosphere was very traditional, you felt very well looked after, and the food was some of the best we had in Rome. A friend recommended it as the place he'd like to take his children to when he becomes a father... So it's great for going with the family. Just be sure to make a reservation because it's very popular, or arrive early and wait in line. It was there that I tried the pasta all'amatriciana, undoubtedly the best of the trip. My family fell in love with the cacio e pepe. We highly recommend it. One of the two places where we ate the best food in Rome.
06/05/2026: Best. Spritz. Ever. Also the mona lisa was cool too.
