Loved the classic atmosphere of the 80's-90's peak of Rome years that this restaurant brings you back to. The location is in one of the best areas of the city, worth the visit! We had very good homemade food. The Roman artichokes we started with were perfect, with its minty background flavor that refershes the palate, fantastic! The amatriciana was absolutely astonishing, provably one of the best i've ever had but the carbonara was nothing special. It will obviously not afect my positive opinion of this place. We concluded with a plate of saltimbocca alla Romana which were a solid 7. The service was great, the girl that served us was fantastic and the owners very welcoming.

Came a few times here Food and service were always very good. Had the buccatini amatriciana Cacio pépé, artichokes, ravioli Trippa alla romana ..delicious Home style 4 generations family run.. When in Rome must try.. I would definitely come back

A special place to spend a pleasant evening. Fabrizio and Giampaolo are excellent hosts. The food, service, and ambiance are top-notch. Highly recommended.

This was recommended by the hotel reception. The portions were just right and everything was well prepared and seasoned. In hindsight, I would’ve ordered the oxtail or the beef strips with artichoke. The staff also cared very much whether you are happy with the dishes. Prices were also correct.

01/05/2026: My wife and I came here for a late lunch after checking into our hotel. We waited maybe 10 mins for a table (we were sat outside which is precisely what we were hoping for). The food was excellent: we each had a pasta dish and shared an artichoke dish which was phenomenal. The 0.5 litre of the house ref was a great way to begin our day in Rome. All in for ~€50. Oh and our waiter was great, very nice and made us laugh. I’d love to come back again.

20/05/2026: Last week, we originally wanted to eat at another trendy restaurant in the hip neighborhood, but it was completely packed with over an hour's wait... so we went to Cacio e Pepe instead, and it was a real find. We've eaten at quite a few Italian restaurants, but the food here was by far the best. The pasta, in particular, couldn't have been better. The local Romans at the next table were having pizza, which also looked delicious. The service (Marcos) was also very friendly and quick. All in all, 5/5.
