03/07/2025: Beautiful positive surprise. I was passing through for work. Stopped in mid-morning and I tasted a fantastic baked calzone. It had been 20 years since I tasted one like this. Stuffed with ham and mozzarella with flakes of top quality pistachio. And then super filling. The kindness of the owner exceeds 5 stars. Well done.

There's no menu — he just listed four dishes in Italian. We didn't really understand them, so we chose based on what we recognized (since we don't eat meat), and they turned out to be the best meals we had in all the restaurants during our entire trip. That's wild. We went there once when we arrived and thought, “Wow, food in Italy is amazing.” But then we tried many other restaurants — all just okay. This one had something special. We went back right before our flight, and once again, it was fantastic. So here's my advice: given the prices — €7 per dish, €1.50 per soda — I suggest leaving a tip. Just my opinion. On a beautiful day I spoke to the server, but on this I understood through a simple regard. There are no cards - just four plates in Italian. Once you've bought it, you'll find what you need to know (you can't even eat steps of travel), and you'll find the best dishes of every trip. C'est fou. On it's a premiere just before arriving, on it's said: “Wow, the plates in Italy, there's an exception.” Now on a plethora of other restaurants — tous normaux. Celui-là, il avait tanto chose en plus. On and off you return just before taking the plane, and there's a new fantasy. Here's my advice: you get the price - €7 for the plate, €1.50 for the canette - I suggest you make a pourboire. C'est juste mon avis. If you return there-bas, j'y emmènerai chaque personne que je connais. C'est comme ça. Merci à tous.

06/06/2025: I could really recommend this atmospheric restaurant in Ostia. It’s close to the center but not that much touristic, therefore they really care about guests, and cooking good to satisfy locals. My seafood plate was great (probably, too big for a one person), and the house wine was also decent. But the best thing is a polite and caring attitude from the owner, and the waiter Jann-Lucca. Even if you travel alone you won’t feel abandoned here. He speaks English good, can give you a good advice on dishes, and even suggest you a great local liquor when you’re leaving. I had a great late dinner there which made happy both my stomach and my heart. Really suggested to visit!

07/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on Monday, June 23, 2025, around 1:30 PM with the intention of having lunch. The entrance was locked, but I could hear voices chatting inside. I tried knocking and calling, and I could hear the phone ringing, but no one answered. There was no sign saying the restaurant was closed, just a notice that they're closed on Sundays. If this is the level of attention they give to their customers, I can imagine the care they put into their cooking. I won't go back, not even under torture. I have no reason to say something untrue, because I walked from St. Peter's in the heat to come and eat, and the door was locked. I tried opening it, knocking, and calling. This is rude.

12/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso in questo posticino tipicamente romano nella periferia vicino a Fiumicino! Abbiamo iniziato con l'antipasto Pagnottella's...affettati deliziosi, supplì e polpettine spettacolari!!! La cena è proseguita con Carbonara, Amatriciana e Gricia.... Sapori che riesci a trovare solo in queste zone e Pagnottella's tiene altissimo il livello della tradizione romana! Servizio piacevolissimo e prezzi onesti! Ci torneremo sicuramente... Consigliatissimo!!!

29/07/2025: Amazing food, traditional, top-quality products, from a simple tomato to meat, pasta, and wine. Giulio gave us an unforgettable experience, telling us the history of his restaurant and showing us every single room. He showed us his cheese cellar, and we tasted cheeses aged up to a year and a half, accompanied by bottles of wine aged 50-60 years. I can only say thank you!

12/06/2025: I think it deserves 5 stars for the excellent quality-price ratio. Generous portions. Going into detail: The mixed appetizers were good, among them the parmigiana and the beans flavored in an original way (no spoilers 😀). The first courses were also good: amatriciana, strictly without onion, and spaghetti al Bottarolo, original. Second courses were ok: saltimbocca alla romana reinterpreted with pork and strictly original tripe. The bread was good. The coffee was excellent. The desserts were less exciting to me. We will return. Clean bathroom.

12/06/2025: Familiar and very relaxed atmosphere, in fact we went there with lifelong friends, who are in fact a second family. Since the last time I was here the level has risen a lot, thanks to the young and very talented chef. The all you can eat menu formula is convenient, but you have to be prepared because the quantities are important. We fell in love with the fried artichokes, the cacio e pepe and the carbonara were excellent, but also the other first courses we tried were really tasty and the pasta cooked to perfection. Among the second courses we tasted the delicious saltimbocca, the very tasty tripe that melted in the mouth and the meatballs in sauce. Tiramisu was above average. The staff welcomed us and pampered us with kindness and availability, it seems like a cliché but we really felt at home. An ideal place for an evening with friends, between taste and joy.

28/07/2025: The staff could be improved, the waitress was rude, and there were four small slices of bread for two platters. The food was very good, and the price could be reconsidered. The pistachio cake was the best dessert I've personally tasted.

01/07/2025: La Drogheria – Meat heaven in the heart of Terracina In Terracina there is a restaurant that every true meat lover should visit at least once: La Drogheria. A place that stands out for the quality, care and passion with which each dish is prepared. Behind the Brace there is Ciprian, a real guarantee: here the meat is not cooked, it is enhanced. The selection is wide and well-curated, with both national and international meats, always cooked to perfection. The local side dishes are also excellent, which further enhance each dish. The menu also offers good first courses, but the real protagonist is undoubtedly the meat section. The red wine cellar is worthy of note: carefully selected labels, perfect to accompany the gastronomic experience. The service is attentive and adequate, and the bill fully reflects the quality offered. I highly recommend it to those who want to have a true culinary experience, especially if they are passionate about red meat and authentic flavors. A point of reference in Terracina.

18/07/2025: We had lengua en salsa verde. Although the feeling was cold (on warm bread), it was delicious. This is a Sandwich equivalent,in terms of size. Atmosphere is very vibrant, market like as the name suggests.

11/05/2025: Pizzeria Quattro Stagioni – or, for those who know it well, “da Salvatore” – is undoubtedly one of the best sliced ​​pizzerias in Rome, especially for those who love the classic margherita, here really tasty and well balanced. The place is very simple and small in size: a few tables outside allow you to eat on site, but the layout remains mainly takeaway. Pay attention to the times: it is often necessary to wait a long time, especially in the evening, when the pizza is almost always all booked in advance. The quality of the pizza remains very high - 9 out of 10 - even if, compared to a few years ago, there is a slight decline. The fact that Salvatore, for reasons of age, is now present less frequently has probably had an impact. However, it remains an unmissable stop for those looking for a real Roman pizza by the slice, made with experience and passion.

11/08/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but this was so annoying and rude that I'm leaving one. The food bill came to 42 euros, so I paid 50 euros in cash, but instead of 8 euros, I got 3.50 euros. Instead of 5 euros, I got 50 cents. I thought they were just playing with coins at a local hole-in-the-wall store, but how can they show up at a store where locals come and do business? The owner or employee with a tattoo on his arm and a crooked head, you should reflect on yourself.
