Wonderful. Honest. Characterful! Great welcome. Delicious food. Loved the Pasta dishes and the Meatballs in Tomato sauce. Gluten free pasta freely available. Licked every plate clean.

The Vecchia Osteria del Gelsomino is a very characteristic restaurant about 10-15 minutes from St. Peter's Square. We ate a delicious carbonara and had a wonderful evening thanks to the owner, Tiziana, who proved to be a Roman icon. We'll definitely be back!

This place was the cherry on top of our holiday in Rome, a hidden gem. An authentic Italian restaurant with a beautifully decorated and very welcoming atmosphere. We started with the bruschette, which were made with very fresh ingredients and perfectly finished with olive oil. For the main course, we had three different types of pasta, and all of them were absolutely delicious. The tiramisu is an absolute must-try. Of all the places where I have had this dessert, this one was truly special - a real masterpiece. After dinner, we had the chance to greet both the chef and the owner, which made the experience even more memorable. The whole team felt like one big family: very respectful, warm, and charming.

Wonderful meal and service. The Cacio e Pepe was amazing, the tomato sauce for the meatballs was unbelievable and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's our first night in Rome and we were so happy finding this lovely place
