12/03/2025: Good morning, in confirming the goodness of the hotel overall I wanted to tell you about a very "unpleasant" experience I had with Mr. Christian, owner and manager of the Tivet hotel; I would like to point out that I have been their guest for many years; I booked a week from 9 to 15 March 2025 and for health reasons I found myself unable to stay, having notified them 6 days in advance; after prior telephone and email agreements I was told that if they sold my room they would return my deposit, even though I had only asked to move the week to a period which was also at the end of the season (last week of March or first week of April) but I was asked for a new deposit; close to departure I asked for confirmation of the sale of the room and I was told that it had not been sold even though their website said all double rooms like the one I booked were sold; to confirm I have my partner call and she is told that there are no more double rooms; assuming that the hotel had full authority to withhold my deposit, I would like to point out the incorrect behavior of the owner both in not having kept his word and in not having met me in any way; obviously in my opinion this type of behavior undermines any added value of the hotel; P.s.: I would like to point out that the exact same behavior was perpetuated towards an acquaintance of mine

15/01/2025: This hotel really deserves a triple 5 star rating. The suites are crazy and go far beyond what you can expect from a hotel of this category... entering the room is equivalent to entering a mountain fairy tale. For the rest, what can I say... excellent and plentiful cuisine with a buffet that alone is worth the price of the ticket. The view is breathtaking...a stage on the Alps. The facility is spotless and the staff are efficient and friendly... you feel at home! Highly recommended!

01/05/2025: Unfortunately bad. 10min wait at the entrance and we had to ask to sit down for an aperitif. Once seated after 15 minutes no one showed up. So we had to ask them to bring us two spritzes. Arrived quite quickly. We were expecting at least two chips like the other tables. After another 15 minutes we ask to receive them too. But nothing. After an hour we left. I'm sorry but it was clear that there are series A customers and series B customers.

21/04/2025: There were 3 of us in this restaurant, after a long walk, we were quite hungry, we had asked for 3 sandwiches, the waiter had told us "there is only Valle d'Aosta" cooked meat and fontina, we said ok, we waited more than an hour and 15 minutes and in the meantime they didn't even bring us a drink and at a certain point we said enough, let's go.

07/04/2025: Consigliatissimo. Siamo andati principalmente per la fonduta ma abbiamo assaggiato un po' di tutto dal menù. Tutto ottimo. Gestore simpatico e in gamba.

25/02/2025: Panino ok ma freddo. Abbiamo chiesto delle salse ma non erano previste. Le abbiamo chieste per le patatine ma non erano disponibili. Mi chiedo , sei così insicuro del tuo prodotto da dover obbligare i clienti a mangiarlo proprio come vuoi tu, senza nemmeno poter aggiungere una salsa?! Se le hai finite ,Dubito che ci torneremo.

Ho cenato con la mia famiglia in questo paradiso del gusto, siamo stati accolti con gentilezza dalla cameriera, meglio ancora la simpatia e la professionalità della proprietaria ci ha accompagnato nella scelta degli ottimi vini ,che dire dei piatti che abbiamo gustato.....sono rientrati in cucina belli puliti . Perciò ci accomodiamo a tutti i commenti positivi rilasciati dai commensali....Braviiiii

10/05/2025: We stayed here last weekend, very friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms. The hotel is located in the center, near the main street of the town. A pleasant discovery was the spa managed by Daniele Pellerino whose extreme professionalism I can confirm, I let myself be guided by him in the choice of massages: he proposed the Ayurvedic one!! I highly recommend

03/09/2024: Una sera abbiamo provato il ristorante L'Arolla e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Gentilezza e cortesia del personale di sala Vi faranno sentire come a casa. Il menù offre una discreta scelta di piatti della tradizione. La cucina è buona (anche se su certi aspetti ci si può ancora lavorare). Dopo questa serata siamo ritornati altre volte. Ristorante consigliato. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

28/08/2024: Dopo essere stati diverse volte a cena,pranzo e per aperitivi, l'ultima volta è stata una pessima esperienza. Abbiamo preso quattro aperitivi e ci è stato solo una vaschetta di patatine, mentre notavamo che nel tavolo accanto avevano (*in due), più cose di noi che eravamo in quattro. Gentilmente lo abbiamo fatto notare alla cameriera che sgarbatamente ci ha letteralmente buttato sul tavolo un contenitore con qualche nocciolina. Inoltre lo stesso spritz è aumentato di 1 euro da una settimana all' altra.

13/04/2025: People rave about this place and I can see why, they have an extensive menu, we were a party of 4 and tried the fondue, the polenta, the pear and walnut pasta and the burger and everything was excellent and presented decorated with beautiful flowers, looked good and tasted good! Plenty of options for vegetarians, portion sizes are big as well so easy to share. Can also be reached on foot without having to ski down, but is quite a climb up hill on the road.

30/03/2025: Väldigt mysig restaurang, både uteserveringen och inne, och nära till byn om man bestämmer sig för att avsluta skidåkningen tidigt. Bra mat, såklart, det är ju Italien. Sedan blir man välkomnad av restaurangens hund, då blir man extra glad.
