09/11/2025: A restaurant that offers the flavors of the valley, including dishes of Sardinian origin. It's the restaurant you wouldn't expect in the Aosta Valley, but it'll pleasantly surprise you. The gnocchi with blue cheese and walnuts are excellent. The dishes are beautifully presented, especially the desserts. There's also a wide selection of pizzas. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. Dogs are welcome.

12/10/2025: Great! The only place open out of season with fast service and very friendly and welcoming staff. The place is completely renovated with a "modern mountain" style, ideal for a diverse clientele.

18/10/2025: I travel every week for work throughout Italy...and I assure you that quality, price and kindness of the girls are not so easy to find...especially in the north...5 stars are not enough...congratulations truly...there are no rivals in Aosta you are the number 1

16/10/2025: Stopped for work but had a great meal, very kind staff, plus it was my fault I ordered a dish I'm allergic to, they remade my plate with a different meat, even though I wanted to pay for the dish I made but didn't eat they didn't want to, thanks again. I will definitely be back.

29/08/2025: A warm and attentive welcome, a splendid location with a view of the Ayace Valley, and food focused on Aosta Valley specialties, all delicious. We returned to complete our samplings. Aosta Valley soup, crespelle, porcini mushroom soup, onion soup...and then the desserts, with whipped cream made with their own milk. Highly recommended!

25/08/2025: The dishes are plentiful and very good. The staff is very friendly... it's worth trying.

03/08/2025: Hotel Tivet, located halfway between Aosta and Pila, is ideal for those seeking a secluded retreat (we needed one for our one-month-old daughter) and easy access to nearby towns by car. Its location also offers spectacular views of the mountains opposite. The hotel is surrounded by a garden with chairs, tables, and loungers where you can sunbathe and relax. There's also a jacuzzi/sauna, but we didn't use it. The staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Inside, the hotel is very well-maintained and tidy, both in the rooms and in the common areas. We stayed half-board and were amazed and satisfied with the quality and quantity of what was offered for breakfast and dinner. We hope to return soon!

03/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante Tivet for a week and were very satisfied. The location is perfect, just minutes from Aosta and convenient for reaching Pila and hiking. The family-run hotel is very clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food: generous portions, excellent food, and excellent value. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you're looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, Hotel Tivet is the place!

19/11/2025: Terrible evening. Upon entering, the owner exclaimed, "Oh my god, they have a dog!" We ate two pizzas and the whole time we had to listen to the owner's ringtone playing "faccetta nera." I wouldn't recommend anyone go. Rudeness and ignorance reign supreme. It's a shame because I believe many of the people who work there have nothing to do with the crazy management of the place. It's not a question of political beliefs. Certain extensions should be avoided in public places.

02/11/2025: Tasteless tagliatelle with venison ragù and slightly burnt Milanese cutlet. An interminable wait to pay. Too expensive.

26/08/2025: I bought two packs of pasta and two sauces for a cool €36. Oh well... I'm ready for tourists to be ripped off. But when I have to give them away and you put them in a recycled bag with umbrellas ⛱️ and the Ligurian coast, then I'm not going to take it anymore. It's fine to rip off everything, but a little dignity...

14/06/2025: Sono stato ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante molto bello e arredato con molto gusto.All’entrata ci ha accolto un ragazzo molto bravo e ci ha fatti accomodare in terrazza.Mentre sceglievamo le portate la proprietaria una donna molto simpatica e gentile ci ha consigliato.I piatti erano FANTASTICI!!! Finalmente ho potuto mangiare la Fonduta alla Valdostana che era sublime!! Io lo consiglio a pieni voti sia per la cucina ma anche per la gentilezza e dolcezza dello staff! Ci tornerò di sicuro ogni volta che vengo in valle! Complimenti a tutte/i !!!

29/08/2025: An amazing place to hang out with your friends eating and drinking with the locals. The owner is very helpful and welcoming.

15/10/2025: We stopped for lunch; the menu was the "workers'" one, with the same selection for everyone present; the waitress listed the menu without a menu or prices. The food was decent. It's a shame that when paying, we were told that only those with a special agreement with the restaurant could pay for the workers' menu: a real bummer, and no receipt at all! What a rip-off!

12/10/2025: A family dinner in a warm, welcoming restaurant. Thin-crust pizza (not Neapolitan), but light and tasty. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel also serves as an excellent base for visiting Aosta and the Valdigne.

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class. We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves. The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

01/04/2025: Perfect for a lunch break after a morning of skiing or for an aperitif. Right on the lifts. Very helpful waiters! It's a regular stop for us!
