La Loge du Massif In Courmayeur

I organized a wedding for a very special couple of clients. they arrived from the other side of the world and from the first inspection the hotel staff managed to excite my customers. The entire staff was available before, during and after the stay. The organization was impeccable and special thanks to Sara and Salvatore from the SPA who took care of all the guests in a professional and loving way. Do not underestimate the internal restaurants and bar service with a vast choice and impeccable quality. Thank you Le Massif for contributing to the realization of a dream!

Absolutely fabulous luxury treat from my wife for my 55th birthday. Total surprise. Amazingly VIP welcome at check in even though it was late in the evening on 1.3.24. Stunned by the luxurious interior design and setting. Ski-butler - what a treat and an asset - thanks Telemarco. Made it so easy to enjoy the trip. Superb location and access to slopes and local town bars, restaurants and shops. All the restaurant staff were so polite and worked so so hard to please and attend to every need. Fabulous food and wine of course. The bar was a great spot to start the evening treated like VIPs by Thomas and Marina. Thomas you make the best cocktails! On our off-ski day, due to the weather, we really enjoyed the spa and massages. Such a war welcome from Sara and both her colleagues (I think Veronica was her name). Although check-out on 4.3.24 was a sad moment as we had to leave, all the reception staff were so lovely in making us feel welcome and to use the spa facilities to shower after one last burst on the slopes. Very quiet hotel and close to the cable car. The hotel is very cozy and familiar

I stayed at the hotel from February 21-24, 2024 and had 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts. The rooms are clean and room service is regular. Salads often came sandy not well washed. Waiters are very kind but very inexperienced and forgetful. Serves tea and forgets the cup. They bring coffee and forget to serve milk and many other mistakes. A five star hotel needs a more experienced team.

The massif is a super well located hotel that is comfortable, has very friendly staff, and makes for a pleasant and uncomplicated experience in beautiful Courmeyeur. Their lodge restaurant on mountain is superbe in every way. I have now returned to the Massif on 3 separate occasions. Neither I, not friends or family that have travelled with me have ever been disappointed.

I haven’t actually stayed at this hotel, I booked a non refundable stay with them for my partner and I and realized that we can’t go. They agreed to cancel our stay free of charge and were super understanding about it. Communicating with them is super easy and I would book with them again!

Recently stayed at Le Massif in Courmayeur. This hotel is a luxurious haven nestled in the heart of the Italian Alps. One of the rare occasions I write a dissatisfactory review - We paid for use of the spa at Le Massif Courmayeur, since we already had accommodation elsewhere and felt it would be nice to end a day of skiing with a local spa. We do this sort of thing often when on holiday. The cost was 100 euro per person (400 euros in total for us), which included use of an indoor/outdoor ‘pool’, sauna, steam room and ‘cryotherapy’. A nice lady showed us around the basement facility, however the experience was unfortunately underwhelming. There were no thrills, and I’d certainly say it’s not good value for money. The pool was comically small, the photos are a tad deceiving, there is enough room to sit around the edge with a few people, but its waist deep at most. Separated by automatic glass doors, you’re able to step through to the smaller outdoor section of the pool, which is considered is considered a hot tub but only at pool temperature. The glass was limescale and a tad grotty. The general fit and finish of the entire spa wasn’t great, including areas of damp. The steam room had no scent, just old water smell. The sauna was good. There was a switched-off outdoor hot tub which they were claiming was a ‘cold water treatment’ (credit for creativity). The changing rooms were strangely small, with many lockers but barely enough space for two people. There were water stains and leaks from the pool on the ceiling above. The shower handle fell off in hand. I feel what is available is all perfectly fine if you’re a hotel guest whom gets it included with the cost of the room, I wouldn’t expect anything more from a hotel (our own hotel had less). However at 100 euro per person, this is not good value, and probably shouldn’t be advertised as a luxury spa for external guests (at this price point), to save disappointment. The hotel/reception on the other hand is a very nice place to be, lots of space, nice atmosphere, modern and a good bar. I can imagine this is reflected in the rooms. It’s a shame the spa experience lacking. If the spa cost was amended to 40 euros per person, this would better reflect the experience. We didn’t get any extra treatments, such as massages etc, so we can’t comment on those.

Dopo una mattinata di sci, pausa pranzo alla Loge. Per un qualche motivo mi aspettavo un ristorante dall’atmosfera ovattata, riservato nelle distanze fra i tavoli, elegante nella mise en place, raffinato nelle portate…. Appena entrato mi è sembrato di essere al Super G! Gente ovunque, musica a palla, confusione totale fra personale indaffarato e affannato ed ospiti esuberanti che facevano baldoria, gridando, bevendo, facendo cori da stadio per un qualche compleanno e dando fuoco ad una serie di candele scoppiettanti che impestavano di fumo tutto il locale! Non voglio dire che non andasse bene, mi sono pure divertito anche grazie al DJ che metteva musica ottima ma non era quello che mi immaginavo. Ovviamente con una baraonda del genere è difficile essere ben serviti nel senso che i piatti arrivavano di corsa ed erano non particolarmente curati dal punto di vista estetico. Peccato perché erano molto gustosi (il menù è principalmente a base di pesce) e ben cucinati. Menzione speciale per il ragazzo che ci ha servito, scherzoso senza allargarsi e molto disponibile. Ottima carta dei vini!

Superlativo! Loge é una stupenda riqualificazione di una baita di montagna posta sulle piste da sci tra gli impianti principali. Ambiente elegante, cucina raffinata, personale TOP. Ideale per serate con amici. Merita un passaggio anche solo una volta nella vita👍🏻
