05/04/2025: This is an amazing small restaurant with a warm, rustic charm. The moment you walk in, you feel welcome. The service is genuinely friendly and relaxed, which adds to the whole experience. The food is excellent – local ingredients, perfectly prepared. The steaks were especially good, full of flavor and cooked just right. Everything on the menu felt honest and rooted in local tradition, not overdone or fancy, just really well made. One highlight was the house wine, Il Cervino. It was so good I ended up buying a bottle to take home. Definitely worth trying if you’re into red wine with character. The place is quite small, so I recommend booking a table in advance. It’s clearly popular and easy to see why. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it – this kind of atmosphere and quality is hard to find.

08/03/2025: Steak is great, but the Tiramsu that Elizabeth makes is Amazing a must have it you're ordering dessert🍨 the cheesy potatos are lovely we shared 2 bowls between 4, wine is good too, very rustic feel of a restaurant which is nice 😀

02/05/2025: Be cautious, take care as you can't contact them in any way and they avoid any money return if they can't offer the service they offer! They asked me for 30euros in order to make a reservation, it was not possible to visit the restaurant due to recent floods and extremely bad weather at the area and they informed me that I could not visit them. Till now they refuse to return the money I have sent them via money transfer to their banking account number. Following the message I send them in Italian…. Dear, I gave you a deposit of 30 euros for the reservation I made for a dinner for two people on 4/21/2025. Due to bad weather and the impossibility of accessing the restaurant by car, you informed us that you would return the deposit, but you subsequently informed us that you would not. Considering that it was not possible due to the weather conditions and the information you provided us, please immediately return the amount to the account with the following data. 28/05/2025: Pranzo del 06/05/2025 A poca distanza da Aosta si trova questo bar trattoria che, senza la pretesa di proporre piatti sofisticati, appaga lo spirito nostalgico (per chi, come me, apprezza i locali rustici in stile anni ‘80) e lo stomaco con una cucina tradizionale e di sostanza a prezzi ragionevoli. Buoni gli antipasti (ma l’insalata russa la preferisco più croccante) e le tagliatelle ai funghi, al dente e abbondantemente condite, mentre è stata una piacevole scoperta la zuppa valpellinese, mai assaggiata prima, ricca e gustosa. Pane (alle noci) e grissini oltre la media. Personale rapido e cortese. Conto tutto sommato adeguato. Voto: 8

12/04/2025: Siamo stati attirati dal menù esposto fuori; 20€ due piatti a scelta tra una lista, oltre al menù classico. Abbiamo preso due taglieri di salumi, una pasta al sugo di salsiccia ed una bistecca alla valdostana, tutto ottimo e consigliatissimo! Personale disponibile e super simpatico!

08/04/2025: Always a pleasure to go eat at this place that we have been frequenting for years where we come to ski at Pila! Be careful to plan during the holidays it is always very busy! I love their pasta and their pizzas! The sausage polenta and the pork shank are to die for, in the pure Aosta Valley tradition!

Friendly welcome according to the employee Pleasant setting and superb view from the covered terrace The dishes are good and local, of standard quality and local products. 17/03/2025: Ogni volta che vengo a Courmayeur, mi faccio ammaliare dalla bellezza della vetrina del Pastificio Gabriella, di solito la pizza rossa è la scelta, ma questa volta io e i miei amici ci siamo fatti conquistare dalla bontà che ispiravano i dolci esposti, torta di mele eccezionale, mela pura, frittelle di mele ancora calde e che si sciolgono i bocca, come il semolino dolce fritto che sembrava quasi crema pasticciera, che dire clamoroso. Solitamente non è cosi, ma questa volta la signora al banco sembrava quasi scocciata

26/04/2025: After a very long queue at the Mont Blanc Tunnel, we finally arrived in Cogne, having left Paris this morning. At 10pm, tired and hungry, we fortunately found this place still open. The pizza was a very pleasant surprise: thin, crunchy and truly excellent. The staff, in particular (perhaps the owner), were super courteous and welcoming. We will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation!

11/05/2025: Very convenient to reach and a short distance from both Verrès and Saint Vincent and Chatillon. Extremely uncomfortable mattresses, but Sara, the owner, was very kind and helpful with requests. It has a restaurant, which I did not use.

09/05/2025: Excellent restaurant, with large and welcoming rooms, suitable for weddings, communions and similar. Typical traditional dishes with quality raw materials. Very friendly staff and impeccable service! Definitely highly recommended!!!
