01/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo posto per spezzare la monotonia, alla lunga, della cucina valdostana con una pizza. Non ha tradito le attese: pizza di stile napoletano, con cornicione alto, ben condita e con prodotti di buona qualità. Buono il dolce. Giovane e attento il servizio.

23/03/2025: Another restaurant with similar menu in La Thuile, but some nice additions. Somewhat hidden away from centre of village in quieter part close to slopes. Duck leg made a lovely change from pizza and pasta, but great pasta all the same. And a great tasting burger without bun. And the waffle shaped chips were the highlight. Desserts lovely too. Would definitely visits again.

31/03/2025: Very well run village bar. Great service. However the food is not the best. But I think it is due to the fact that they can only heat and not cook since it is not a restaurant. The sandwich prices are quite high. Be careful.

01/02/2025: Super friendly staff and amazing service! If there is ever an issue just ask the staff who will solve anything for you, if the menu doesn’t suit you they fix an alternative. If the bedsheets doesn’t meet your preferences they will fix an alternative! The only areas for improvement is the spa area where the temperatures of the sauna and jacuzzi were a bit low. (The staff probably could have fixed that one too if I had thought to ask) Thank you hotel Pavillon for an amazing week 😍

23/12/2024: Beautiful hotel 5 minutes from the center. Excellent breakfast as well as dinner, excellent dishes. Clean rooms. The staff both in the hotel and in the dining room were very courteous and helpful. Super recommended

29/09/2024: The climb is difficult in some places but it is pleasant and absolutely doable, and once you arrive you find the beauty and warmth of the refuge welcoming you. We slept in the bedroom with bathroom, a real luxury! Simple and clean, essential and very comfortable. Super dinner: I am vegan (I had warned in advance) and they specially prepared delicious dishes for me, truly beyond my expectations. A kindness that cannot be taken for granted, in an atmosphere that we will not forget. Thank you with all my heart! And see you next time, maybe with the sun :)

01/04/2025: Fantastic to just drop and check in no stress for parking and they love my chow chow no fuss! Their massage was 100% plus love it all that’s walking distance to the city. Their cheesy grill polenta was so yammmy

20/03/2025: From brilliant scenery to staff, this is truly one of the best refuge in the whole of Tour du Mont Blanc. The refuge takes hygiene to another level, having zero bed bugs that are common in most of the other cabins I went to. Might be a bit expensive but the beautiful location just a few kilometers just of the town of Courmayeur. Highly recommend this place as it provides a lot of high quality rest especially if you just hiked from somewhere far. At that time, I just hiked from Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme, which was a mountain hut in a great location but had questionable accommodation (which is reasonable because it was literally on top of a mountain.) Still, great place to visit.

03/03/2025: Nice little bistro type place offering the local fare incl their own signature "veal on a hot flail" and polenta. Their signature is too impressive to recommend against but also not something we would order a second time. Extensive wine menu as well

25/02/2025: Cena di coppia ottima: personale molto gentile e disponibile, ampia scelta dei vini, costata a cottura lenta davvero deliziosa (tenera e saporita), dolcetto frittelle di mele e crema chantilly da provare!

05/03/2025: Se entri in un ristorante e vedi la foto del Principe Alberto di Monaco, noto "gourmand" della cucina made in Italia, direi una garanzia, è così è stato. Proprietari gentili e disponibili, "cambi" di piatti in corsa, non è da tutti, ma i veri "ristoratori" li riconosci immediatamente. Dall'antipasto al dolce tutto eccellente, carni squisite e taglieri di apertura cena ottimi! Così per il dolce finale. Tutto innaffiato da un buon vino rosso.

14/02/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante ad Aosta e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. L’ambiente è accogliente e il personale molto gentile. I piatti tipici valdostani sono preparati con cura e ingredienti di qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente la fonduta e la polenta concia. Ottima anche la selezione di vini locali. Un posto consigliato per chi vuole gustare la cucina tradizionale in un’atmosfera piacevole!

The cellar is also excellent. They also have 3.50cl bottles if you don't want to "overdo it". Very affordable price especially if you consider the average of the place. Advised.
