I suffer from vertigo, cable cars in particular scare me a lot, I have to say it was not a walk in the park, when you get to Punta Helbronner it is really high 😅 But getting there is an experience that I recommend to everyone because it is worth it, while you go up the cable car turns slowly so you can see 360 ​​degrees, but at the same time it does not bother you, it does not make you dizzy. Then it is really fast in 5 minutes you are at Pavillion where there is a beautiful lawn with deck chairs, and a small lake and then you take the cable car again for another five minutes and you arrive at the top. The view from up there is surreal, it is so fantastic 🤩 Truly everything is well organized, perfect. Highly recommended

03/06/2025: We had dinner at the Mansio 1695 restaurant. We tasted typical Aosta Valley cuisine of the highest level. It was a very pleasant evening, both thanks to the atmosphere and the service offered. Really honest prices. Highly recommended.

12/06/2025: We absolutely loved this place and the welcome. The room was ultra-comfortable, with a whirlpool tub, ultra-quiet, and a beautiful bar. The bedding was perfect. A surprise meal with a divine wine pairing. The produce was local, grown, and treated with respect. Each dish was explained its origin and history. The two sisters who served us made us feel at home, sharing stories about their family. We were able to visit and chat with the chef, who is passionate about his work. At breakfast, we left with a selection of pastries and each a box of cookies. Thank you so much for sharing, which brought tears to my eyes.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante stellato dove torniamo sempre volentieri: ogni volta ci sorprende, incanta e soddisfa fino all’ultimo piatto. Contrariamente a quanto si pensa, non si esce affamati, ma appagati nel corpo e nella mente. Un’esperienza gastronomica completa, da provare e riprovare!

21/04/2025: We were impressed by the Vecchio Ristoro in Aosta. The 5-course menu was sensational, every single course was a culinary masterpiece. Excellent quality ingredients provided one culinary delight after another through excellent craftsmanship and creativity. The risotto was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever tried. The fantastic kitchen performance was perfectly complemented by the professional, attentive and courteous service. The elegant ambience of the former mill was very appealing, but the only criticism of our lunch was the room temperature. It was far too cold and we were freezing after a short time. Apart from that, the restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation. For us it is one of the very best 1 star restaurants we have visited in Italy so far and worth every penny.

10/06/2025: Lovely restaurant serving delicious well prepared food. I had the Macaroncini with a boar and pea sauce, and my wife had the risotto. We asked also for a salad that was well presented and fresh. I think there were a lot of locals inside which to my mind always suggests the food has to be great quality. Definitely Worth the drive out of Aosta and the restaurant is in a beautiful village setting surrounded by the most stunning views of mountain scenery.

07/06/2025: This is not a 3 star hotel, it's a 5 star hotel! I've never stayed in such a great place! Hotel Emilius is not only clean and comfortable, but also has an unbeatable view of the city, especially the night view. If you drive to Aosta, you must stay here, you will never regret it. The service is superb.

08/06/2025: We stopped by chance for lunch before returning home from a trip to the mountains. Simple and very welcoming environment, kind and helpful staff. We tried various dishes starting with a platter of cold cuts (lard, raw salami and salami with potatoes and beets) all of quality. We then moved on to the (dry) soup of bread, herbs and cheese which was really excellent and tasty, if we had known we would have eaten 2 dishes each of that alone, then skipping the second courses which were prepared very well and accompanied by polenta but one level below the soup. For second courses we had braised meat and polenta and carbonada and polenta. Really excellent panna cotta. We recommend it!

15/06/2025: From the outside, this restaurant doesn't look very inviting, but that's not the case. It specializes in fish and seafood, but also serves meat dishes and pizzas. Everything I ate was delicious, and the prices were fair. And the server even spoke German, which made my evening much easier. Highly recommended...

30/04/2025: Just spent 2 wonderful days at Bergman Mtn Hotel . I have been to Cervinia several times and this is by far my favorite hotel . The location is perfect- ski in / out and Alessandro and his team were outstanding. Alessandro even took me to the local ski shop to rent my equipment and offer suggestions. Breakfast was excellent and my one dinner at the hotel was very good . Can not wait to return.

29/04/2025: We were obsessed with this place and did not want to leave!! The room, the location, the decor, the breakfast, the music and the owners were incredible! The moment we met Alessandro and Nicoletta they felt like family- their hospitality and kindness are unmatched and we will forever remember it! We always loved Italy and love it even more now because of them and this special place! Praying the Lord blesses our new friends and their wonderful hotel!! Sending our love always from North Carolina
