Vacherie Club In Morgex

Returning from the Tour of Mont Blanc, before heading back to Rome, my friend Giovanni and I spent a wonderful evening in this little corner of Aosta Valley paradise, pampered by the friendliness and splendid hospitality of the owner Gianluca. Everything at La Vachérie is superb, always simple and tasteful, from the magical atmosphere of the interiors to the attention to detail at the table, to the delicious cuisine and wines. A triumph of exceptional flavors from start to finish, from the platter of Aosta Valley cured meats and cheeses to the fresh tagliolini with venison ragù, from the polenta concia made with Morgex "Pavese" flour to the carbonada and sausages, finishing with a fantastic double platter of artisanal desserts from the Valdigne. A huge shout out to my friend Gianluca, a charming storyteller, always generous and attentive to his guests, and long live La Vachérie, as we look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Great atmosphere, welcoming and cozy. Even though we went in mid-June and during a heat wave, late afternoon thunderstorms had cooled the temperature enough that the small fire in the fireplace was a great addition to the ambiance. Food is always fresh and locally sourced, traditional Valle d’Aosta dishes presented in a modern style. The menu varies based on the availability of fresh ingredients. Great selection of local wines too - from sparkling, to fresh, young whites to surprisingly intense and concentrated reds. Thank you Gianluca!

A unique experience, soft lighting, a roaring fireplace, and the quality of the food is exceptional. Highly recommended! We'll be back soon!

We had a wonderful time; the food was truly delicious and authentic, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. The owner is a truly warm person; he offered us both an aperitif and, at the end of the meal, a liqueur and freshly made cream. A truly recommended experience, 10/10.

If I could give more stars for the service, I would! The owner is a wonderful and very friendly person. The place recently reopened, but you can tell he puts a lot of effort into it. At the end of the evening, we were treated to some excellent genepì and a small bowl of freshly made whipped cream. Everything was perfect. 100% recommended.
