We went for both lunch and dinner. Beautiful location, good service, and excellent food, including delicious pizzas. Recommended.

Excellent homemade pasta! We prepared gluten-free meals with gluten-free pasta (not homemade). The (packaged) bread brought as a side dish was also appreciated. Something was missing... The bread, for example, was delivered very late... Some waiters were expert and professional, others clumsy...

I went to "La Lanterna" with my family and had a very positive experience. The waiters, Alessandro and Mario, were professional, knowledgeable, and kind; they did an excellent job taking our orders and serving the dishes. The food was exceptional, both in terms of quality and quantity. The dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful, and we were served ample. However, I believe the restaurant could improve its customer service, for example, by noting customers' needs and anticipating their requests. These are small details that can make a big difference in the customer experience. I hope they take my suggestions into consideration to further improve the service. 😊

i wanted to try a lot of food, but the waiter advised me to just stick with the appetizer of the egg with 3 textures and the truffle pasta. Which was great advice because i was so full! really recommend the place and the food.

The atmosphere is very beautiful, well-kept, and clean. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. We tried some traditional dishes (pasta with wild boar and fraschello) and were very pleased. The quality/price ratio is good, considering it's right in the center of Assisi. I recommend it.

18/04/2026: On the main street, a very nice place inside, with characteristic exposed stone. The restrooms are very clean, with disinfectants on hand. A handful of tables outside. And now for the food, we ordered half a pizza and a Sicilian-style bread.... wow, it was amazing, delicious, incredibly crunchy, about 350-400 grams of bread, really good, fresh ingredients. The pizza, crunchy, absolutely delicious. Really affordable prices, we're talking about 8 euros for a sandwich and 2 euros for a drink. Excellent and fast service. Well done.
