11/03/2026: Because we were staying in Gubbio for a week, we ended up at this pizzeria after a bit of searching. All the good reviews were more than justified. We had truly delicious pizzas. They certainly can't make pizzas this good in the Netherlands, and they're also considerably cheaper here! I opted for the slightly spicier "Hulk pizza" (see photo). It was truly delicious. After the pizza, I ordered a delicious dessert. I chose a delicious but rich meringue cake. My wife asked for a cappuccino, which shocked the owner. He explained that in Italy, cappuccino isn't supposed to be served after noon. We all had a good laugh about this unwritten Italian tradition 🤣, and then the owner brought my wife a delicious cappuccino. So, besides having a delicious meal, we also enjoyed the excellent and friendly service. We will definitely be back this week. Poiché eravamo a Gubbio per una settimana, siamo finiti in questa pizzeria dopo' di ricerche. Tutte le recensioni positive erano più che guustificate. Abbiamo mangiato delle pizze davvero deliziose. This means you don't have to worry about the pizza without having to wait a while, and you will still be happy with the economics! Ho optato per la "pizza Hulk" leggermente più piccante (vedi photo). Era davvero deliziosa. Dopo la pizza, ho ordinato un delizioso dessert. Ho scelto una deliziosa ma ricca torta meringata. Mia moglie ha chiesto un cappuccino, cosa che ha scioccato il proprietario. Ci ha spiegato che en Italia il cappuccino non si dovrebbe consumare dopo mezzogiorno. Ci siamo fatti tutti una bella risata su questa tradizione italiana non scritta 🤣, e poi il proprietario ha portato a mia moglie un delizioso cappuccino. Quindi, as a past delizioso, abbiamo and apprezzato l'eccellente and cordial service. Torneremo sicuramente questa settimana.

09/02/2026: My boyfriend and I happened upon it last night while we were on our way to Gubbio. We had a 5-star pizza 🍕, it was delicious, very thin, and super digestible! If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back! The staff were welcoming and friendly! I recommend it!

27/03/2026: I don't want to sound dramatic, but I'm particular about hotel comfort. This hotel could have easily been rated three stars, but it was a very uncomfortable experience. The room left much to be desired, far too small. There's hardly any space to walk in, even to open the door, because the hallway is so narrow. The room was basic but comfortable, with a double bed and a bunk bed next to the bathroom. The bathroom was appalling; it had been renovated, but the cleanliness was terrible... I'd rather not go into detail. The stay was completely unpleasant, and I didn't like this hotel at all. I want to mention that this review is updated because I received a very negative response from the hotel itself. The service was so inattentive... I didn't like this hotel at all, and I won't be returning.

15/03/2026: Just stayed. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a balcony and window. The bathroom is large, with a window, and particularly clean. You can sleep peacefully and there's no noise at all at night. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The dinner was excellent, with quality products and excellent value. Ideal location for visiting Assisi.

27/12/2025: I'm going against the grain with dark/evening photos, during aperitif time on Boxing Day, with a packed house. I only counted three bartenders in total, but what can I say? They made all the difference, where organization and rank matter! The precision and speed of preparation and service deserved 5 stars, and if there had been 10, I would have given them 10! Kudos to their professionalism! Always serious and on point! As a colleague in the industry, I can only be amazed, a very rare quality these days! My compliments, we'll definitely be back! PS. I hope the bartenders appreciate the photos and they don't cause any discomfort.

14/03/2026: This is my third visit to this place, and unfortunately, I'm forced to drastically change my previous review. Nothing to say about the exquisite food and the location, which has already received positive reviews. Let's talk about the owner, with whom you'll probably—unfortunately—interact during the ordering process. He repeatedly and harshly attacked me because he didn't understand my order. Leaving aside all the details, I really don't believe you should address a customer in such a rude and offensive tone, just as you shouldn't yell at waitresses. Honestly, I would have left if it hadn't been my daughter's birthday. I definitely won't set foot there again, especially since within a few meters there are equally worthy trattorias, but with decidedly less rude and offensive management. There are capable and eager young people here, but they haven't inherited a family restaurant and are struggling more. It's a shame.

29/12/2025: As a huge sushi lover, I'm going out on a limb and saying this is the best I've ever had! The rice is soft and not stale like at almost every other place, and the ingredients are perfectly combined. Not to mention the Gyoza, which are AMAZING! Keep it up 👍

07/10/2025: I came here with friends for an after-dinner drink. Very good, well-crafted cocktails, except for one for my friend, who made a mistake and had to make another. Fair prices and a nice atmosphere, although I suggest throwing empty bottles in the back room instead of near the bar; the noise can become annoying for those near the bar.

24/08/2025: Five stars because I can't give more! I went to this restaurant for five days straight during my vacation and had a great time! Very fair prices, generous portions, and everything was delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always smiling. The place is very cute and welcoming, with the option of eating outside. Highly recommended, I'd go back in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/10/2025: After spending a morning in Cascia, we stopped by Norcia for a bite to eat and were drawn to this delicatessen. We were served a delicious platter of high-quality, traditional cured meats and cheeses... Excellent value for money, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. The owner is kind and friendly. 12/10/2025: I visited La Cia restaurant in Gubbio and had a very positive experience overall, albeit with a few minor oversights that didn't ruin the meal. The restaurant is in a truly picturesque location, atop Mount Ingino, with a spectacular view of all of Gubbio. You can reach it either by car, via a convenient road and parking, or by cable car, which adds a scenic and distinctive touch to the experience. The atmosphere is refined, elegant but not stuffy, and the staff was friendly and helpful, although I would say that the wine was poured without us tasting it first, and the bread arrived only after the appetizers, rather than right at the beginning when we were seated. These are easily remedied oversights, but they didn't ruin the meal. The food, in fact, was excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The appetizers were excellent, and the first courses were truly delicious, especially the truffle ones, flavorful yet balanced. The prices are in line with the restaurant's caliber and panoramic location, so they're reasonable. In conclusion, La Cia is a restaurant I recommend: the food is excellent, the view is wonderful, and in my humble opinion, with a little more attention to service, it could become truly perfect.

09/02/2026: I stayed at this property and the experience was simply impeccable. Cleanliness is top-notch: every room is meticulously cared for, and the attention paid to guests is immediately apparent. The linens are superior quality, a true touch of luxury: the cotton is extraordinary, soft, and enveloping. The bed deserves special mention, with its superb mattress and topper that guarantee an excellent night's sleep. The four pillows, all finished with elegant ruffled pillowcases and piping, add another touch of class. The bathroom—or rather, the actual bathroom—is equipped with every comfort: plenty of soft, scented towels, and a rich and carefully curated complimentary toiletries. Nothing is left to chance; every detail contributes to creating an atmosphere of welcome and refinement. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, always ready to make guests feel at home. Breakfast is another highlight: top-quality local products and homemade pastries, fresh and delicious. A stay that exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended.

08/02/2026: To access the room, the flight of stairs is practically vertical: climbing them, and even more so descending them with a trolley and backpack, is quite a challenge. Upon arrival, the room was cold; it's unclear why they would ask for an arrival time if showering is impossible and you have to stay dressed for at least three or four hours until the temperature reaches at least 20 degrees Celsius. The hosts are very kind, as is the breakfast. This is probably a place that is at its best from spring to autumn.
