03/03/2025: Good lunch with typical dishes. Special mention for the truffle trio and the farmer's ricotta with honey and walnuts as dessert. The lentil soup with sausage is also excellent. The value for money is adequate

12/01/2025: Location molto carina, ottima la pulizia e servizio eccellente. Menù non molto ricco ma di qualità e carattere. Buona scelta di vini. Stringozzi cacio RE direi WOWWW gnocchi viola al tartufo eccellenti zuppa di lenticchie molto soddisfacente e crostata di fichi e noci veramente gradevole. Buono anche il caffè e vi assicuro che in un ristorante non è scontato. Bravi ed arrivederci alla prossima.

04/03/2025: Dall'esterno si vende come un locale semplice e tradizionale. Appena varcato l'ingresso ci siamo accorti di essere in tutt'altro ambiente, più lussuoso e di livello rispetto a quello che cercavamo. Abbiamo comunque deciso di restare e provare questa esperienza, ovviamente con aspettative ben più elevate. Il servizio si è rivelato coerente con l'ambiente, ma la cucina è stata una vera delusione. Tiramisu a parte, che era ottimo, le tagliate che abbiamo ordinato al sangue non erano tali. Impiattamento assente e qualità della carne sotto ogni aspettativa. Purtroppo, però, il conto si è rivelato molto (anche troppo) in linea con l'immagine del locale. Non torneremo sicuramente.

23/03/2025: We were at this restaurant on Father's Day. A day of celebration, he took us to visit Montefalco and so we discovered this restaurant. Everything was delicious. The appetizers were plentiful as were the main courses. Fast and precise service. Honest price. A beautiful fireplace inside the room and beautiful brick vaults. I highly recommend it.

28/12/2024: Sono stato con la mia famiglia a provare il loro menù vegetariano. Abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata; piatti eccellenti e presentati con professionalità, accompagnati da una degustazione di vini fantastici! Torneremo sicuramente.

14/03/2025: My husband and I were traveling from Assisi to San Casciano dei Bangni and because we had time, we chose a spot along Lake Trasimeno for lunch. We had the best meal since we have been in Italy! Our server Mauro, assisted us with understanding the menu and our choices were nothing but perfection! We were served complimentary champagne, a lovely croissant with a fish crème before our enteree. We typically don’t order the three courses and Mauro suggested the (in my English) the fish soup (many types of fish!!!) and I had the plate with shrimps on a towering skewer, prawn, a fish filet, octopus and crab. Amazing presentation! We also had a berry desert…..yum! We were given a tour of the lower level tasting room/dining room. What a treat to see all of the wines and liquors. The owner and my husband traded cigars and it was a lunch we will never forget. The establishment is a wealth of thought out design! Our accolades to the chef!

04/04/2025: Rustic atmosphere but really excellent food and service. Both the fried lamb and the fried artichokes were delicious but the lasagna with asparagus and the "gourmet" version of the torte al testo were also at their best. Nice place among the trees but it is convenient to book.

02/04/2025: Prezzi molto onesti e servizio molto veloce. Personale cordiale e gentile. Si ordina e si paga all'ingresso poi ci si accomoda ai tavoli. Servizio molto spartano con piatti di carta e cibo nella media sicuramente la forza è iĺ prezzo e la rapidità di servizio (siamo andati di martedì sera quindi non affollato)

22/11/2024: In vacanza in zona mi viene consigliato il ristorante Fontanelle, mai scelta fu più azzeccata, arrivo verso le 12.00 e chiedo se era possibile mangiare, ci dicono di sì ma che è presto, comunque ci accompagnano al tavolo e che avremmo dovuto aspettare un pochino, essendo in vacanza e non avendo fretta rispondo di non preoccuparsi, si ripresenta dopo 10 minuti con due bruschette per ingannare l'attesa ( pensiero gentilissimo ed apprezzato) poi arriva il figlio Alessandro che ci consegna i menù e prende l'ordine, sentendomi non apprezzare il tartufo ed essendo lui un cercatore di tartufi, ci spiega bene cosa sono i tartufi (confesso la mia ignoranza in materia) e ritorna dopo poco con due bruschettine con crema di tartufi, lo ringrazio ma gli ripeto sia io che mia moglie non apprezziamo il tartufo... alla fine con un pò di insistenza mi riesce a far assaggiare la bruschetta wow buonissima, mi sarei preso a sberle da solo per le volte che ho snobbato il tartufo. Proseguiamo con fettuccine in bianco al ragù di chianina (eccezionali fatte in casa) e tagliata al rosmarino con patatine fritte, sublimi. Che dire ho prenotato anche per il pranzo di domani, sapori autentici portati avanti con sapienza. Ho comprato anche l'olio e una boccia di vino. Consigliatissimo e se posso ci ritornerò con i miei amici.

04/04/2025: I came back to this place with great expectations and I was very disappointed. I had a maritozzo that I would define as neither good nor bad, normal. The real flop was the pan pizza, if I hadn't already eaten in this place in the past the rating would have been 1. The service didn't live up to expectations either, the waitress was almost annoyed that we had taken few things in her opinion and it's not elegant to explicitly show this to the customer (and in any case we spent €30 each so I wouldn't say we didn't eat). In any case I don't think I'll be back.

30/03/2025: We tried the padellino and the moderna. We were amazed by the lightness of the dough and the very particular and balanced combinations both in taste and colors. Good and beautiful, you can see that there is a lot of research and care in the preparation. High prices, but considering the quality, the service and the excellent wines and cocktails on the menu, it is worth it. We will return to try other flavors and doughs

04/02/2025: Pequeño bar de vinos excepcional en el centro histórico de Bevagna. Los platos de pasta eran espectaculares. La carta de vinos es diversa, y bien valorado. Las porciones son generosas (grandes). Se habla inglés. Se sube por un tramo de escaleras hasta la zona de estar cubierta y también hay mesas afuera en la calle peatonal. El servicio fue atento y los correos electrónicos sobre la apertura en la última semana del año fueron respuestas inmediatas. Una joya.

30/11/2024: Le Barbatelle publicó un menú de acción de gracias en Instagram. ¡Se veía muy bien! ¡Me apunté! ¡Esta noche fue genial! Una hermosa sala de arriba todo listo para este evento. ¡Muchos buenos vinos para elegir! ¡Entonces la comida! ¡Fue un sabor perfecto de acción de gracias! ¡Todos los platos estaban deliciosos! ( ¡y no tenía que cocinar! ) El relleno sabroso, el pavo, las batatas, Bruselas, el puré de patatas y la salsa, fuera de este mundo deliciosas cebollas... ¡pastel de calabaza! ¿Necesito decir más? ¡Por favor vea mi foto del menú! También conocimos nuevos amigos italianos - americanos! ¡Qué velada encantadora llena de deliciosa comida! ¡Muchas gracias!

23/12/2024: What a nice little bakery cafe. Stopping through Foligno on a Sunday you'd think the town had banned cafes (it said Domenica Chiuso on the door but it was open). Thankfully this place was open and we had a lovely cappuccino and a biscotto. Nice warm lighting, jazz, and friendly service. Will come back next time I stop in foligno
