Ristorante La Cia In Gubbio

A place in an excellent location near the basilica, with a panoramic view, friendly staff, and excellent products. We only stopped for a drink on the way, but we'll be back.

I visited La Cia restaurant in Gubbio and had a very positive experience overall, albeit with a few minor oversights that didn't ruin the meal. The restaurant is in a truly picturesque location, atop Mount Ingino, with a spectacular view of all of Gubbio. You can reach it either by car, via a convenient road and parking, or by cable car, which adds a scenic and distinctive touch to the experience. The atmosphere is refined, elegant but not stuffy, and the staff was friendly and helpful, although I would say that the wine was poured without us tasting it first, and the bread arrived only after the appetizers, rather than right at the beginning when we were seated. These are easily remedied oversights, but they didn't ruin the meal. The food, in fact, was excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The appetizers were excellent, and the first courses were truly delicious, especially the truffle ones, flavorful yet balanced. The prices are in line with the restaurant's caliber and panoramic location, so they're reasonable. In conclusion, La Cia is a restaurant I recommend: the food is excellent, the view is wonderful, and in my humble opinion, with a little more attention to service, it could become truly perfect.

I can only recommend this restaurant. We stopped for lunch, delicious food, very kind and excellent service and with a wonderful view!

A bar with a beautiful view of Gubio and the surrounding mountains. The terrace is quiet and crowded. Delicious desserts and drinks.

If you'd like a break after visiting the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo, stop at the Bar LA CIA, located beneath the Basilica, where you can enjoy some excellent crescia (we recommend the ones with guanciale and pecorino/Norcina and spinach), accompanied by a nice glass of Grechetto. The view will be a splendid accompaniment.

If you want to reach the summit...and find food, go to the "La Cia" restaurant near the church of Sant'Ubaldo; that's the summit. Congratulations!

Bread of various types, original and delicious flavors. The dishes deserved top marks, and the dessert was a journey of flavor: we truly enjoyed it. And the price was fair. All this in one of those places that alone are worth the trip, and where many restaurateurs therefore settle: sorry if that's not enough, but a well-deserved 5 stars!

Excellent restaurant right below the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo in Gubbio. We stopped here after visiting the Basilica, intrigued by the menu. Tasty dishes, elegant location, and breathtaking views of the Gubbio plain. Truly a wonderful place. Refined dishes that offer a fresh take on Umbrian tradition. Prices are slightly above average, but truly justified for such a location and a well-conceived menu. We'll be back!

Ristorante con vista panoramica su Gubbio che difficilmente dimenticherò !! Personale molto cortese, scelta di piatti molto difficile perché tutti da provare ! Cibo al di sopra delle aspettative, abbiamo preso un tagliere di formaggi e salumi come antipasto e come primo dei passatelli al tartufo……tutto incantevole !!! Il prezzo è quello giusto considerando dove ti trovi ma vi dirò…..mi alzo dalla sedia e vado via appagato ma soprattutto con la pancia piena !! Lo consiglio vivamente
