A gem in the middle Tiber Valley that deserves more attention and affection! La Fonte is a family-run trattoria and pizzeria in the countryside between Marsciano and Fratta Todina, specifically in the hamlet of Poggio delle Fonti. It's always open for lunch and dinner and has ample space for families and groups to enjoy a cheerful and sociable meal. A typical Umbrian menu with some more original recipes, such as the creamy spaghetti with gorgonzola and lemon. Unbeatable value for money for the honesty and genuine ingredients; the burgers and pizzas are also excellent. Worth mentioning is the truly good and affordable house wine. I'll definitely be back again to try something new! Thank you, because there are fewer and fewer family-run restaurants that don't get too big for themselves and remain welcoming!

Service was fairly quick, considering the place was busy. The appetizers were good, the fried food was dry, but the pizza dough could be improved, too "biscuit-like." The price was in line with similar places.
