26/10/2025: Excellent service and very good food. Very friendly staff and a very refined atmosphere.

24/08/2025: The restaurant has great coffee before the round and the ham and cheese sandwich is simple yet delicious. We also stayed after the round for a meal and it was better than we were expecting. The view of the castle from the patio is nice, as are the peacocks walking by.

10/12/2025: Very large truck parking space. The place is very nice, clean, and spacious. The staff is super friendly, and the waiters are very kind and attentive. The food is very good. There's also a shower.

26/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly pleasant experience! I've been to this restaurant and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, with exquisite flavors and quality ingredients. The plating was also impeccable; every dish was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The setting is spacious, quiet, and well-maintained, with soothing background music and a quiet atmosphere that allows you to fully enjoy the meal. The service was excellent, attentive, and fast, thanks in part to the fact that there weren't many people in the dining room. All in all, an experience I highly recommend!

01/05/2025: Old style room that has seen better times. Dishes that are not very original but overall correct. The wine list is limited and banal, which is a very unpleasant fact, as the structure focuses (unfortunately only in words) a lot on wines, creating high expectations among customers which are decidedly disappointed. I underline that the property has a well-stocked shop/wine shop within walking distance, and therefore it is not clear why they did not choose to improve the restaurant's wine list.

23/05/2025: This was a lovely little find with a calm relaxed chilled vibe. The highlight was the curated wine list with some very resonantly priced and exceptional little gems. The food was also very delicious the only negative was that we asked for a medium fillet and it came rare, we asked again to cook it a bit more and it came back slightly seared. The real class of this quaint eatery was show by the owner who without hesitation removed the item from our bill. Well played sir well played! highly recommended!!!

12/09/2025: I can't describe the culinary experience I had at this retro gem, the undisputed kingdom of His Majesty the Umbrian truffle! The platter of traditional local cured meats and cheeses was a true triumph of the wisdom of Umbrian master charcuterie makers. The paccheri with eggplant sauce brought back memories of the simple flavors of my mother's cooking (she made them often, and it was always a treat for me to eat them). The guinea fowl breast stuffed with potatoes was warm and fragrant, while the millefeuille with Chantilly cream and berries concluded with a flourish, a blend reminiscent of autumn. And what can I say about the kindness, spontaneity, and warmth of Mrs. Rafaella and her husband? They simply make you feel at home. I will gladly return here as soon as I'm in the area again!

01/10/2025: With these local ingredients and scenery, it would difficult to create an unpleasant dining experience, and yet this place manages it. There is plenty of choice in Spello, go elsewhere (think the owner has confused us with someone else - we tried to eat)

10/07/2025: I have special memories of going with my grandfather. For €20, a full meal with drinks included, a varied menu, fast, efficient, and friendly. Claudio was always there... good, simple food, not expensive... worth trying once.

20/10/2025: Welcoming place, very good food, and top-notch service. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The restaurant manager immediately made us feel at ease in a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

25/09/2025: We went here with a group of nine people because the restaurant was recommended in the magazine, falstaff, which is a specialized wine magazine. The wine selection indeed was very comprehensive. However, as we ordered a 40 year old red wine, they did not have a decanter. I was very surprised by that. Also they regularly forgot to pour the wine and simply opened the wine bottle and left it on the table 😂 with some bottles we ordered being at 100-200 eur each. Very weird. The food was good the location was amazing. I have to say is that the service was absolutely unprofessional and rude in part. The guy who was serving us, was boarder line annoyed with every request.

22/11/2025: I was in Assisi last weekend with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering the streets. Thanks to the very friendly and charming owner, we had a typical Umbrian culinary experience. We ordered fried artichokes and scrambled meat as appetizers, and for main courses, Norcina and an off-menu first course with creamed broccoli, bacon, and pecorino cheese. To round out our meal, we ordered a chocolate cake. The restaurant is rustic and quite small but very welcoming.

09/11/2025: Owner Fabio offers exceptional hospitality and service. Excellent selection of ingredients! Everything was prepared with meticulous care by his wife. From appetizers to desserts, everything was impeccable. We had the pleasure of tasting traditional dishes that left us impressed and satisfied. Not at all touristy, but in a great location. It was a pleasure to spend Sunday lunch there. The place is also very quaint and well-kept. They are very welcoming, even with our four-legged friends. Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: Everything was very pleasant, except for the unprofessional and somewhat arrogant response of the lady at reception after a polite observation I made, a sour note at the end of my stay... what a shame.

27/11/2025: Elegant hotel, close to the historic center, with parking. Worth mentioning is the kindness with which Mr. Andrea at the reception welcomed us and the professionalism with which he fulfilled our requests.
