26/12/2025: Terrible service. The staff doesn't even pay attention to you. We repeatedly asked if we could order but were promptly ignored. The staff were extremely rude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

26/03/2026: I went here with a friend after dinner on a weekday. The place was very quiet, and the music was loud enough to allow for a normal conversation. It would be nice if they could indicate which drinks/dishes are vegan (for example, substituting soy milk for regular milk). Otherwise, a nice place and friendly staff!
14/03/2026: I frequent Bar Europa practically every day, and it's become a must-visit. The coffee is truly exceptional, one of the best you'll find: intense, creamy, and always made to perfection. Breakfast is also excellent, with a wide selection of croissants and toppings for all tastes. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is always great. It's also a great place for aperitifs, with a wide selection. Highly recommended!!!

23/12/2025: A pleasant spot on the promenade in Merano, I had the soup of the day which was fillling and tasted good but what I liked were the sparrows which were around the tables, they were very tame and were happy enough to eat peanuts from my hand 😊
20/09/2025: The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. The location is very nice.

03/03/2026: Terrible experience, not up to par with the old management.
We waited over an hour, and the food (dumplings and ribs) was inedible. The prices were exorbitant for the terrible quality of the food.
After we very politely told the management that we hadn't had a good experience, they treated us horribly and kicked us out.

09/08/2025: I can only confirm the operator's unfriendly manner. It was around 3:30 p.m., and we asked for an hour of tennis. The courts were empty! "Guest cards aren't valid!" Okay, we'd pay. "Not until 4:00 p.m." Do they have tennis rackets and balls? "We only have bad stuff. If you want to play tennis, bring your own."
They're pretty good at scaring customers away here.

26/03/2026: I stayed at this refuge for a whole weekend with my partner, and I have to say I had a wonderful time! The staff was very helpful, the owner Fabrizio was super friendly, the rooms were clean, and the view was priceless! The food was truly excellent, especially the pork shank with red cabbage in vinaigrette and the Schnitzel, perhaps one of the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back in the summer!
16/03/2026: I visited Rifugio Plose and ordered the Gulaschsuppe, while my friends had the Speckknödel in der Suppe. The same evening all three of us became seriously ill — vomiting, diarrhea, and a completely ruined next day. This was clearly not a coincidence, as all three of us had symptoms of severe food poisoning. When I spoke to the manager, she dismissed the issue and said it was ‘not their problem’ because no one else had complained. Later, the owner of the hotel we stayed at told us he had already heard several negative comments about this place. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

24/12/2025: The food is very good despite being self-service.
We stopped for lunch on a day of skiing; we chose it a bit randomly, but it was worth it.
There are tables inside and many more outside.
The only downside is that the coffee is not good, even with the professional machine.

As for the rest, you should be ashamed:
€5.50 for a bottle of water????
You really deserved for no one to come through the door anymore.
