26/12/2025: Terrible service. The staff doesn't even pay attention to you. We repeatedly asked if we could order but were promptly ignored. The staff were extremely rude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

16/08/2026: A truly welcoming place! The lady who brought us the dishes was so nice, and the platter was so rich that at that price, even buying cured meats and cheeses wouldn't have been so much.

Everything was excellent, the staff was very friendly and fast.
12/08/2026: We were here for the second time today. Yesterday everything was great; we arrived, sat down, and were served immediately. The food yesterday was also excellent. Then today, we came to the restaurant with some anticipation (since yesterday was really good), and the waiter ignored us or didn't seem interested. We only received the menu after asking for it.
The food was good, just like yesterday.
So it really depends on whether service is important to you.
We didn't leave a tip today.

04/04/2026: After 15 minutes during which several waiters walked past us multiple times without serving us, we left (the seating was only about 10% occupied, and other guests were also skillfully ignored). It seems they don't care about making money; more competent staff could remedy this.
22/02/2026: I can't judge the quality of the food because we didn't even sit down. After seeing the waiter/bartender picking his nose, we immediately ran away. He didn't even notice us when we walked in, without saying hello or anything. He continued chatting with another customer at the counter. It was 3 PM on a quiet Sunday, with only a couple of tables occupied and already served. It's a shame, because the atmosphere, the area, and the plateau's tourist tradition deserve a much higher rating.

Free breakfast super clean rooms the owners were so nice helpful and friendly I highly recommend for anyone to come here
There is no air conditioning but it didn't bother us one bit
Slept very comfortable
Walking distance to the train and buses
10/05/2026: Poor cleanliness, very dated rooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Very close to the center with parking nearby.

14/11/2025: We tried the bar once and found the staff to be less than courteous, almost annoying, and even greeting you with a "ciao" and the hot chocolate was watery. Only the chic atmosphere was pleasant. Failed.

26/03/2026: I stayed at this refuge for a whole weekend with my partner, and I have to say I had a wonderful time! The staff was very helpful, the owner Fabrizio was super friendly, the rooms were clean, and the view was priceless! The food was truly excellent, especially the pork shank with red cabbage in vinaigrette and the Schnitzel, perhaps one of the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back in the summer!
16/03/2026: I visited Rifugio Plose and ordered the Gulaschsuppe, while my friends had the Speckknödel in der Suppe. The same evening all three of us became seriously ill — vomiting, diarrhea, and a completely ruined next day. This was clearly not a coincidence, as all three of us had symptoms of severe food poisoning. When I spoke to the manager, she dismissed the issue and said it was ‘not their problem’ because no one else had complained. Later, the owner of the hotel we stayed at told us he had already heard several negative comments about this place. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

11/08/2026: The lady at the bar was very rude. You can't even think about your order for 5 seconds before she gets nervous and rushes you for something that should have taken just a few seconds. She looks you up and down for no reason and gets nervous over irrelevant things. Unprofessional. As for the rest of the staff, I have no complaints.

23/07/2026: A charming neighborhood pub where you can enjoy delicious food and a cold beer under an old chestnut tree, surrounded by locals playing cards.
This was our second visit after day trips around Bolzano.
26/04/2026: I sat in the outdoor seating area and ate a pizza. The young lady who served me was attentive and friendly. The small outdoor seating area is right next to the road, but since there was very little traffic (at least on Sundays), it wasn't a problem. It would certainly be pleasant to sit under the large tree even in warmer weather. The food was very good and the price was absolutely reasonable.
