20/03/2026: I love this small, family-run restaurant. Simple yet carefully prepared traditional cuisine, often using their own produce. Highly recommended if you're looking for a simple yet welcoming atmosphere that will surely satisfy those seeking traditional cuisine.

09/05/2026: The food was good. The portions are for toddlers. If they're hungry, either order two portions or find another restaurant.

17/08/2026: Often, good service can redeem bad food through friendly interaction with guests. Here, not only was the food terrible, but the older woman serving us was also rude when we asked in the pouring rain if there were any tables available inside. We would have gladly left the place to eat our food in the downpour and found somewhere else to sit. None of the four of us adults finished our meals. The one-star rating is therefore for the unique combination of bad cooking and outrageous treatment of guests.

06/08/2026: Unfortunately, we only read the Google review after we'd decided not to order any food. And unfortunately, we only noticed after ordering drinks that they were charging €2.50 per person for tax and service. Of course, this is buried at the very end of the menu and wonderfully hidden. They don't even have a drinks menu, so you don't notice that a 0.4l beer costs €6 and a can of Coke Zero costs €5. I really can't recommend this place to anyone. It's simply outrageous.

09/07/2026: Tourist trap! The food is stale. There's no fresh or tasty food here! And the prices are way too high. Better to walk a little further along the promenade towards the arcade. There you can sit comfortably and the prices are more reasonable.

24/06/2026: Bruno Sepp is, if you can call it that, a bistro bordering the Passirio River in Merano. The staff is mostly adequate, but the selection of cured meats is mediocre. At first glance, it may seem generous, but in reality, it isn't. Three micro slices of cheese, three slices of discount-style Milano salami (Alto Adige is renowned for its quality cured meats, including speck, aged roe deer sausages, and so on), three slices of fatty prosciutto, and a few gherkins—all for €17.50. The bruschetta, however, was nothing more than toasted bread covered in melted cheese. Not to mention the bread, which couldn't be more ordinary. The dishes were more than botched and all of poor quality. This place profits from the poor, unsuspecting tourists who flock there.

07/07/2026: A nice, cool place to rest after the hike. Unfortunately, the prices are unreasonably high, and the service is significantly below average for the area. A few steps further, and you'll surely find better.

22/12/2025: Loved the food and the vibe of the hütte, just wish the prices were a little lower.

21/12/2025: They served us after a table that had arrived after us, making us wait a good 45 minutes. The dishes arrived at different times (two of the six people ate after the others had already digested). Prices were higher than the average for the area, but above all, they were exorbitant for the quality of the food offered: we paid €20 for the Tyrolean rosticciata, which was presented to us as a plate of pork and potatoes, but unfortunately, only a plate of potatoes arrived (and not even a good one...). Water was more than €8 and bread more than €5 (by the way, we asked for more, which never arrived and they included it on the receipt... fortunately, the €11 for bread didn't go unnoticed; once we pointed it out, they removed it from the bill.) Overall, terrible, I strongly advise against it (especially given the quality of the food).
