Freundalm In Racines

Super beautifully located Alm, the climb is unfortunately very difficult. Nice hosts and good culinary offerings.

After the arduous climb, you will be compensated by great service, friendly staff and a rustic ambience in the hut. The portions are generous and very tasty. If you want to visit a really great alpine hut, this is the right place. PS: You can also reserve a table here in advance!

Today I hiked from Obertelves to the Freund-Alm (steeply uphill) and ate rösti with fried eggs - in the afternoon I ate apple strudel with cream on the way back. The owners of the Freund-Alm are very personable, helpful and friendly. The Alm is rustic and the food - no matter what you order - is simply excellent. At some point in the summer, when everything is green and blooming again, I will repeat this beautiful hiking tour.

We had an amazing experience at Freundalm! After a picturesque hike from Mareta, we were delighted to discover this beautiful place. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. I highly recommend Freundalm for anyone looking to combine a great meal with a scenic adventure.

5*+! Urgemütlich. Mit sehr gastfreundlichen Inhabern. Der Kaiserschmarrn war ein Gedicht. Der Aufstieg ist für untrainierte Bergwanderer eine Herausforderung, aber in jedem Fall zu schaffen. Der Aufstieg lohnt!
