The food is delicious, but unreasonably expensive.
We've had the same dishes elsewhere in Italy - tastier and half the price here.

I have been going to Ortisei for 20 years and I always go to this restaurant for dinner and I am very satisfied, the service is great, I have known some people like Jonas well for that time. Jeff is also nice. I am always satisfied with the food. This week everything was excellent. I will be happy to come back here again in a year.

The seafood pasta was generous with seafood, though the pasta portion was a bit small, but the sauce was flavorful and rich 👍. The mushroom risotto was just average. The menu included photos, making ordering much easier. There was a service charge of €2.50 per person, but strangely, bread wasn't included with the meals. The prices seemed a bit high.
However, sparrows kept flying onto the tables and stealing food, which was a bit annoying. There's a bus stop right in front of the restaurant.

Ortisei is a lovely town, especially in the evenings, and Vedl Mulin was the perfect spot to enjoy it. Beautiful setting, with food and service of a very high standard. We had the pizza and the salmon steak, both excellent. Special mention to Jeff, who looked after us like kings — thank you! Highly recommended.
