26/10/2025: This was our second time there with our campervan – it's always worth a trip. However, we've never used the restrooms, as we always bring our own supplies. The food was delicious, the beef broth was fantastic... The value for money is absolutely fair. We'll be back!

23/12/2025: We had made a reservation online for a group of 8 people 2 hours in advance. The reservation was confirmed via email. However, there was initially no table available for us when we arrived. After a 20-minute wait, we were finally able to get a table. However, we could only stay for 90 minutes because the table was actually reserved for someone else. The food was very good and the staff very friendly.

20/10/2025: A little gem hidden in the woods. Perfect if you want to eat outdoors, under towering trees, with the birds singing. Excellent beer, huge sandwiches, and delicious meat. But the real difference is the staff: professional, fast, and always smiling!

01/11/2025: We dined there in late October and were completely satisfied. The service was extremely courteous, warm, and attentive. The food was delicious and, above all, quite unique – in the best possible way. They use regional and seasonal ingredients, which makes the dishes very interesting and high-quality. Therefore, I can certainly understand the "normal" prices for the rather small portions. We found the portion sizes just right; we could enjoy a main course and dessert without feeling stuffed. We were also very impressed with the farm-made ice cream :-) The secluded location was actually quite pleasant for us.

10/12/2025: Stopped in with no reservation today, we were greeted warmly and offered a tasting. The wines are displayed nicely in a modern showroom. The lady helping us was very friendly and kind. We bought a bottle and will definitely return.

23/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay. A cozy, homey atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The food was delicious, including a generous breakfast and a four- or five-course dinner in the evening. The family and staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily accessible by car, public transport, and ski bus. The location is quiet and close to a supermarket and shops.

13/02/2026: The hotel is beautiful, the food is really good, the staff is super friendly, the rooms are small but clean, the furniture was older but ok, what bothered me was the shower cabin, it was really small, I think 70x70, if I wasn't careful I could have broken it. Another thing that bothered me was that I got cold, the radiator in the room was really small, it didn't have any adjustment valves and it was cold in the room, or at least I was cold, I don't think it was more than 20 degrees. All in all, it was ok, if the heat had been higher in the room, because the hotel was super good, I would have given it a very good rating, it's just good.

23/11/2025: I had lunch at the Kaserhof on Renon a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The location is stunning, with a breathtaking view. The staff was friendly and quick, and the food was truly delicious: simple, carefully prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere was quiet and authentic. I'll definitely be back!

03/03/2026: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣

23/02/2026: My husband and I were blown away by the food and service at Sotriffer. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was exceptional. You can tell so much care and intention goes into every single dish. The deconstructed apple strudel was incredible as well as the sheep’s milk ricotta- the flavors worked together so seamlessly. My husband and I left feeling so taken care of. They didn’t miss a single detail. When I will recommend everyone to dine at this restaurant.

02/11/2025: We found the restaurant with a quick search on Maps, and the excellent rating is well-deserved. The restaurant is quaint and welcoming, with lots of wood and stone. There are large tables where several people can be seated in a very informal setting. The dishes are typical of the South Tyrolean tradition, and the quality/price ratio is truly excellent! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and smiling.
