29/05/2025: A true earthly paradise. I spent my entire childhood there with my Uncle Alberto Mayor of Via Roma. Many friends, many memories. It seems more like a tourist village than a campsite. Everything clean, perfect and working. One of the places of the heart of life.

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

19/05/2025: Nous avons vécu une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle dans ce bijou niché au cœur de la magnifique Toscane. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur sincère et une grande attention. Le service est irréprochable et la vrai magie s’est poursuivie dans l’assiette. Antonio, le propriétaire, nous a bien conseillé avec des plats raffinés, préparés par son épouse, la chef du restaurant. Un vrai délice! Vivement recommander 👌

11/05/2025: Excelentes vistas, pero nada más que hablar. Los 45 minutos que les tomó tomar el pedido y servir el pan no fueron apreciados. Cuando llegó el primer plato, 45 minutos después, la pasta estaba fría y poco apetitosa. Finalmente, cuando se sirvieron las mejillas de ternera, encontramos que este plato principal también era tibio y excesivamente graso. ¿Qué pasó con este restaurante? Solía ser genial, pero comimos mucho mejor en todos los demás restaurantes que visitamos en nuestra estancia en Montalcino. Es demasiado alborotado, el servicio carente de cuidado y la cocina en precisión y los propietarios en cualquier otro orgullo no dejarían que las cosas se deterioraran tanto como lo habían hecho. Otro ejemplo de la falta de cuidado fue que mientras que nuestro camarero claramente escuchó a mi esposa hablando conmigo sobre cómo estábamos celebrando nuestro cumpleaños, no hubo ningún gesto para reconocer esto por parte de ningún miembro del personal / propietario / cocina. No regresaremos.

01/06/2025: In a place like this it is not possible that silence is not guaranteed, noisy children at all hours in the pool, it is not possible that you cannot have two hours of silence to rest. For what it costs it is a disgrace.

25/04/2025: During our journey on the Via Francigena, we had the pleasure of staying at the Cappuccina Country Resort in San Gimignano, an experience that exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 16 people, staying in 8 rooms, and from our arrival the welcome was simply excellent, making us feel welcome straight away. The rooms were a real luxury, with king-size beds that provided a refreshing rest after our days of walking. But the real highlight was the breakfast: wonderful and with an incredible choice, perfect for starting the day with the right energy. We highly recommend the Cappuccina Country Resort to anyone passing through San Gimignano, especially to groups and to those traveling the Via Francigena. A true corner of paradise!

01/01/2025: Living in Pietrasanta (LU), where restaurants are often reserved for tourists due to excessively high prices, finding yourself in a quiet restaurant, where you eat really well (Tuscan food) and spend very little with a truly excellent quality-price ratio, is almost unbelievable. Absolutely recommended. Excellent food, attentive, helpful staff and fast times. There were 4 of us and we were all satisfied.

14/06/2025: Definitely the best tavern in Siena. We ate very well from the appetizer to the second course. Only once we left did we discover that he had won four restaurants and honestly a well-deserved victory.

10/06/2025: The guy that attended us, I guess he is the owner, was the most disrespectful and stupid person I have ever met. Such a disgusting person, thinking that because he owns the place he can talk disrespectfully to his clients and staff. The food was alright, the pasta was very tasty, but the atmosphere and the service AWFUL. Food alone is not enough, the service should be there as well. I guess he should have more sex with his boyfriend, that would make him a bit more friendly.

11/05/2025: An excellent bar, in my opinion they could improve the quality of the products (savoury) and the service a little, after which they would become the perfect bar!!

02/05/2025: Il nuovo nido … Che dire … In bocca al lupo la nuova location è deliziosa ed ancora più intima. L’accoglienza non è migliorabile perché siete il top. Vi meritate il meglio del meglio .

19/12/2024: Cenamos dos veces y nos encantó la comida! La pasta alla Gricia, los raviolis, el radicchio, las alcachofas, los pimientos y otros platos estaban muy sabrosos. Teníamos la ricota fresca con castañas y jarabe de mosto de postre y podríamos haber tenido fácilmente tres veces más. Marta era muy servicial y amable. Nos gustaría ir una y otra vez!

Abbiamo preso il menu degustazione da 5 portate, esperienza a tutto tondo, dalla spegazione dei piatti all'abbinamento del vino siamo state guidate sapientemente dal personale, che è stato gentile, educato ed anche molto simpatico. Bilancio più che positivo della cena dalla quale siamo uscite piene e supersoddisfatte.

09/04/2025: Vinimos a almorzar, después de ver reseñas. Ubicación remota, por lo que tendría que reservar, no lo hicimos como era fuera de temporada y almuerzo de mitad de semana. El propietario parecía no gustarle a los ingleses y dejó claro que "no tenía una mesa para ingleses", posiblemente en beneficio de los otros comensales. Si eres inglés, te sugiero que vayas a los otros restaurantes acogedores de Radda o Castelina.

12/05/2025: Locale molto carino,cibo buonissimo e servizio ottimo, ho mangiato una bruschetta condita con olio di produzione loro, degli ottimi pici al vino fatti in casa, bevuto un vino rosso sempre prodotto da loro e assaggiato dei cantucci di loro produzione, il servizio è stato veloce e professionale
