16/08/2024: One of the most special and authentic places we have ever eaten.
Very friendly service from the moment you arrive until you leave. Everyone you meet on the way to this trattoria is extremely hospitable.
The domain is beautiful, and in particular the view from this trattoria and the unique setting around the enormous tree trunk.
We tasted very tasty dishes and wines here, thanks to the tips from the man who served us and who was fluently multilingual in English, French and other languages.

19/06/2024: Yes, it’s expensive - but it worth it. Food was excellent (incl. the size of portions), stuff super friendly, overall atmosphere is fancy and chick but not cheap luxury. Wine selection is small but definitely curated - even starter dry sparkling rose was very good. Highly recommended!

13/08/2024: THE best salad I have ever had, with basil hand picked from the plant outside the cafe moments before it being served. The lady behind the counter was so friendly, efficient and clearly put her heart and soul into the food made there. So well priced that I gave a large tip to represent the amount that I felt the salad was worthy of. Delicious!!

11/08/2024: I guess these concepts kinda explain themselves and are pretty much the same wherever you go, but as a non native Italian speaker we had to figure out a lot by ourselves. Otherwise, great food.
16/07/2024: Large and welcoming place in the peripheral area of Poggibonsi. Decent choice of dishes. Good quality, although I expected something more. Great prices for all you can eat. Service not very efficient but courteous.

19/08/2024: The sirloin with pepper is too raw, really just seared on the outside, too much in my opinion, yet I eat the meat rare. Cut with fondue not bad, but served in an undignified manner. Plating is also something that invites you to consume the meal.
The waitresses were kind, but they served the bottle of water without bringing the glasses and the other requested drinks arrived only after a new request.
Note of demerit to the chef who, angry with the kitchen staff, scolded them loudly and was also heard at the outside tables.
18/08/2024: Booked with TheFork, only ordered first courses which turned out to be very good and at a fair price. The menu does not encourage you to try other dishes besides the first courses.

11/08/2024: We passed by this restaurant by chance. Excellent food, service and nice location but the price is really excessive. The chopping board was really poor.
10/08/2024: In a dinner with friends, 45 euros for half a starter and a grilled dish, with some fried/baked potatoes.
Staff not up to par, when we asked for a plate of side dishes for a vegan we were told that it wasn't possible, bringing 4 different side dishes to the table.
Restaurant really too expensive for the quality of what they offer (first courses start from €13 and a margherita pizza €9)
Definitely not recommended

01/09/2024: Rude Manager and very touristy, see you as a wallet.
As you can see from the owners response, extremely rude. We had ice cream from the shop opposite, which we were told is part of the ownership, and we could sit on the outside table, yet we were made to feel uncomfortable. Calling us rude when all we did was follow your instructions and then get asked to leave, and that's what we did, I suggest you communicate with your staff so they don't give wrong instructions.

Concerning food, one wonders why Michelin has failed so far to award the chef a star.
Very good selection of wines. The natural cellar in the tufa is worth visiting, thanks for showing it to us!
29/07/2024: I tried everything, but this restaurant would not pay my reservation money back(400€), even if I was there and paid my Bill and tried all ways to contact them, via phone & mail & chat. Maybe you will finally answer me and reimburst my money, when I give you a review.

14/10/2023: Il locale è molto carino con una cura maniacale per i dettagli (le maglie da ciclista appese sono fantastiche così come gli adesivi con i rimandi ad amici miei). Abbiamo fatto un pranzo veloce per motivi di tempo, tutto molto buono ma servizio decisamente migliorabile. Con il locale pieno a metà non mi sembra il caso di cominciare a togliere i piatti quando ancora qualcuno sta mangiando. Inoltre mentre il proprietario era super cordiale, dai camerieri ci si aspetterebbe almeno un sorriso. Comunque da non perdere se si passa da Siena. Conto ok.
13/10/2023: Buonissimi piatti della tradizione toscana. Servizio veloce , simpatico , informale . Io prendo spesso la classica “cacio e pepe” ma anche l’ossobuco è molto buono così come tanti piatti provati in altre occasioni . Il ristorante è molto vicino a Porta Camollia dove, proseguendo oltre il semaforo , esiste un comodo e grande parcheggio , il che a Siena non è cosa da poco .
